We've been to this hotel many times (on average 3 times a year) and always leave with a feeling of total satisfaction, whivh is why we use it so often. Service, staff and facilities are too quality. The situation just perfect. Highly recommended.

« Realy good hotel »

We stayed for 3 nights. The room were big, nice and clean. Breakfast was realy good, with a lot to choose from. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Only the restaurant were a little confusing. We wanted to eat there the first night, and surched for it, thought it was in the breakfast room, but this was closed. So we went just across the street to eat - hugh mistake, realy bad food. Appart from that we had a realy nice stay and will recomend this to others.

stayed in hotel from 19/01/2019 to 21/01/2019 room was excellent, ideal location for public transport actual 5 min walk to either Wien Mitte or Rochugasse U Bahn very quiet area . restauarant and bar facilities were very quiet , recommend from personnel point do more to get guests in to use facilities , seemed that guests were only using hotel for sleeping instead of using your facilities

Good location, close to CAT train station and U-Bahn stations. Nice and well furnished rooms, nice and helpful personnel. Tasty and varied breakfast. Price is not so low, but Vienna is generally a very expensive place. All in all a good choice.

Ottima accoglienza al check-in, upgrade di camera e drink di benvenuto accordati. Camera privilege spaziosa e ben equipaggiata. Bathroom and WC area not very spacious, but acceptable. Very good breakfast. Also the restaurant is of good quality. All in all a very good choice.

« Very satisfying & comfortable stay »

I enjoyed the stay at the hotel. Specifically because of the customer service by your employees, this was in the bar/restaurant/reception or conference assistance. Disappointing for me was the coffee at the breakfast. Not many people were aware even that they could order a Cappuccino or Espresso at the waitress. Same for the coffee cans with american coffee, better to have a coffee machine there where everyone can take his coffee if he would like, would safe the amount of coffee cans and effort to place them. Neither my English colleagues liked the coffee. As well what i didn't like too much was the heating in the rooms. It was too hot and the air was very dry. Again something not only reported by me, by almost all of our colleagues. When leaving the hotel and going outside it was refreshing to get some fresh clean air. Restaurant service at the restaurant at the entrance of the Biedermeier hotel (not the one where we have breakfast). Service isn't fast and for me the waiters/waitress weren't really engaging like the rest of the hotel employees. The reason maybe is because they are third party. Tried to order the food and for quite some time nobody came, restaurant wasn't full at all and the reason was mainly because both waiters had been eating or whatever they did on the table next to the bar. At least one of them should have been available while the other had his lunch/break. Room experience by our colleagues in the 4th floor was not too great. Specifically of the small size of the rooms and low height of the roofing. they hit their had several times. In addition the rooms had been too hot and wasn't able to adjust the temperature, so lot slept with open windows.

Hotel is in a good location a short walk from the centre of Vienna. Room was spacious, warm and clean, the water for the bath and shower was the only disappointing thing, it could have been hotter. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, breakfast food was plentiful and a good selection. What was impressive was the way the problem with the shower was rectified, within an hour of being reported. Would recommend the hotel and would definitely stay again.

We arrived your hotel around 1415 that our booking reference from your website indicate check-in is available from 1400. When checking in, receptionist have said that the room is not ready and would be completed in 30 mins and asked if we stay at the reception or going out. Apparently, in my experience with other hotels, those waiting time could be shortened, hence we choose to stay at reception and mentioned her that we will wait over there, pointing the place. There seemed to be few other guests in a similar situation when I checked in. During my waiting time, group came into the hotel and started to checking in. I heard from the same receptionist insisting that the room is not ready and need to wait 30 mins. Then I wondered how many clearness do you have and how many rooms will be ready in 30 mins. As I did not get any information from the receptionist while I wait, I went to reception 45 mins later. Then the receptionist have said that you need to wait another 45 mins. She said "cleaner mentioned that she could complete the clearing in 30mins". It is a simple math to calculate how long it would take that how many rooms are in need, how many cleaners you have and how long would it take to complete cleaning one room. If the receptionist have said that I need to wait for more than 1 hour, then I choose to go outside and start exploring the city. What I don't like most is the behavior of the receptionist, that she did not admit her fault but put her fault to the cleaner. Also, she promised to deliver my luggage to the room, but it was kept at the reception when I came back from sight seeing. Further, the bath room was not cleaned. Stain at the heater, mold on the walls and shower curtains. I decided not to use Mercure for my future stay based on this worst ever experience.

First of all, Hotel fulfilled my request about changing type of bed. And, I think they raised room level too. That was great, thanx. Hotel restaurant was very beautiful and dishes so big and teasty. That was plus again. Why you don’t have Glühwein in the restaurant? Seriously? This is Vienna! Hotel situated in very calm place. And what about minuses. Only one. When I came to you, I used gettransfer.com and taxi cost 25-27 euro. I asked staff to order taxi to the airport for me. 45 euro! And no word before ride ends. I can pay for this. I put tip for the staff and so on. But guys. Install gettransfer.com if you have so greedy drivers. I looked on it and it showed 30 euro. Have a nice year! P.S. I saw a case about accorhotels, after this case I installed accor app on my iphone. Look on your price policy, priceline’s booking and agoda often better

I had room 432 last floor an attic room and I and my son are tall 1.85 so difficult to use shower and very old fashion rooms to be renovated as soon as possible but the character of the hotel is really charming and we loved it except the rooms!
