« The card never works »

It was difficult to use the room's card, mainly in the elevator that it never recognize the card properly. Also, the room was not really clean on the first day, missing toilet paper and the trash can was full.

« Long overdue a renovation »

My room 1153 was particularly haggard, rust and holes in the floor, water spilling from the shower and flooding the room. I've stayed in this hotel many times, but it's falling into a state of disrepair. The Sao Joao branch has been renovated, the rooms are much nicer now - this one is overdue a similar overhaul.

It was good, according with my expectation. I recomend to fix the issue of the elevator: most of the time the people couldn't select their floor vecause the elevator didn't recognize their card.

I have to start by stating that I liked the overall experience of staying at the hotel. Although I do understand it is a budget option, there were two things that I restrained me from evaluating it with a "10". First was the lack of energy sockets available. The second one was the lack of a mini fridge on the room. My wife had to keep one of her medications cooled and we couldn't due to the lack of a mini fridge in the room. Maybe there are other rooms with mini fridges, I don't know to be honest.

The room is extremely simple, there's barely a place where to put your stuff - only a few hangers and a ridiculously small desk. It isn't bad, but it could be either better or cheaper for what it is. There are virtually no vegetarian/vegan options for breakfast, which is way overpriced.

I made the reservation through booking.com and there was an information that children were free. As I arrived at the front desk I was charged more R$30 a day per one child. Such a surprise disappointed me. The overall experience was poor since it was provided only 3 towels and after

I was tired to continue my journey so decided to stop there for one afternoon relaxing time when i decided to stay longer and spend the night. The room is nice and comfortable, veru pratical. The breakfast is great, variety. And very service.

The room was really cold as São Paulo had temperatures around 14 C and the room has not heath. Even the AC only works to make to room colder, never warmer.
