The location was was perfect to take the tube from LHR and to other locations. The staff at this hotel (from the front desk, e.g Gerda, doorman Tomasz, to the room-service crew) was very welcoming and genuine. These are just some names we remembered. So kudos to your staff. Our room was clean (everyday). The views from the top-floors were awesome, even if just from the elevator areas. Our arrival was a few hours before checkin time, and Gerda was very accommodating and tried her best to get us situated as soon as possible. Overall, we were happy with our first time visit to the UK at this hotel. Would definitely consider staying here again if we visit again.

I checked in on-line beforehand, expecting this to speeded up the check-in process, advising that we would be arriving "before 3pm". We arrived at your hotel at approximately 2.15. On saying I had checked in on-line, I was asked to wait, and a few minutes later was told the room was not ready. It was agreed we would wait in the reception area and the member of reception staff would advise when our room was ready, expected to be "about 10 - 15 minutes". After half an hour, I went up to the desk and enquired how much longer before our room would be ready, and was told it was now ready. We were not impressed at the delay in checking in, especially when we had done so online to speed up the process. The stay itself was comfortable and as expected, having used your hotel several times previously.

Great hotel and staff but frequently woken in the night as my room (216) was right next to lifts and the firedoor entrance to the rest of the floor. For the price, you expect to not have that so I was disappointed. I think this room should be discounted heavily and the guest warned to bring earplugs.

This was my 7th stay at the hotel since 2013 and I found the area surrounding the hotel was full of beggars now. Hotel rooms are looking out of date. Was kindly upgraded to a suite - it was located on the first floor and was unappealing and noisy.
