« PERFECT LOCATION.. Poor service »

Loved our stay here. Room was great, breakfast good. So close to 3 train stations. Lots of great pubs just across the road.Will definitely stay again when back in London. Restaurant and bar service was the only letdown. Service at breakfast was fine, but trying to get lunch or a drink was a real issue. All the staff wanted to do was to chat amongst themselves, so we had to get up each time we wanted something and go over there. Never seen anything like it at this standard of hotel. Stayed for 7 nights.

« Check in, maid service, room service, and breakfast service was excellent. Restaurant service for dinner was really bad. »

Food during dinnertime or after consistently took forever to get and our orders were incomplete and lukewarm when we got them. To get service, my dinner companion and I had to take turns going to the bar to flag down a person several times. After two days of this we gave up and went to surrounding pubs/restaurants if we wanted to do something with our evening other than wait for food and drinks. The staff was wonderful and engaging....when they showed up. We actually did get drinks and food comped several times because of screwups, but they kept on happening afterwards, so that kind of nullified the comps. We appreciated the gesture but if nothing changes, it's kind of meaningless. The room service I got on my last night there actually shocked me by saying my order would take 30 minutes, showing up in less than 20 with hot food, and getting everything right.

« Perfect for Eurostar »

We stayed at the hotel overnight before an early Eurostar to Paris. It worked very well. Because the hotel is modern and so not to my usual taste, I’d hesitated to stay before (I like old hotels with character). But it was excellent in terms of convenience and the room was clean and attractively decorated. I asked for a quiet room, and got one, even though the hotel is right on the Euston road! The staff were friendly and helpful. I’ve stayed at the St Pancras Grand several times, but your hotels is far better value for money. Your staff are better, more helpful and polite and the hotel and rooms better maintained. So I’ll be staying with you in future in preference to the Grand.

I have stayed at the Pullman a number of times now and always find it a super experience. The rooms are well designed, beautifully kept and the staff very friendly. The breakfast is superb, a huge variety in a very pleasant dining room. This time we had a couple of nice chats to Adrine(?) the doorman about tennis. Last time we stayed I reported a couple of problems and my suggestions for improvement have been taken up, thanks for the room upgrade which you promised as result of our feedback. My only suggestion from this visit are very subjective. In the evening there was a DJ playing quite loud music, not to my taste and I'd have thought out of character with the hotel, after I day out in London I'd like to return to a quiet lounge area for a nightcap and a chat, not possible in this instance. Most of your guests appear to families, not clubbers. To my mind the 'art installation' was garish and again out of character, the screen display must have been a burden for the reception staff who had to face it all day. Might be OK for a Ibis but not the Pullman Finally, I booked through the Pullman website a couple of months in advance and paid for breakfast. About three weeks ago there was a special offer of free breakfast for guests booking to stay during the period of my stay. I found this annoying, it will tend to make me book later to take advantage of any deals available. I also put you into the same business model as insurance companies which charge loyal customers more and reserve the best deals for new / late customers

First class hotel - room was very clean, amazing view and lovely little touches such as chocolates on the pillow. Breakfast was the best I’ve had - choice was vast and all freshly prepared. Excellent location - 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross. It was my mums birthday and they left cake in our room which made her day! Would recommend this hotel to anyone

Our room was very noisy. At breakfast it was so busy the staff could not cope - no bowls were available, I ordered tea it took so long to come I had finished my breakfast. Then on the table next to us a woman was talking all the way through breakfast loudly on her mobile phone, it was very stressful and not the relaxed start to our holiday I had imagined.

The location of the hotel is fantastic for rail travellers, I was immediately aware that I was entering into the elegance of a Pullman hotel. The reception staff were efficient and polite and made checking in very straightforward. Our room was light and airy and spotless, with a good sized shower . We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and a quiet nights sleep

Our stay was disappointing mainly due to problems with the air conditioning in our room (temperature of 27C). Although we contacted reception straight away, they told us that it would take 30 minutes for the room to adjust to the cooler temperature. On returning to the room 2 hours later, it was still 27C and this was reported again. When returning from dinner, we were informed that we would need to change rooms as the air conditioning was faulty.
