As usual - we have stayed several times before - the room, breakfast and staff were super. There was one glitch this time. We had to catch a very early Eurostar train and booked an alarm call (plus follow up) at 0500 and 0515. Neither happened. When we checked out, the receptionist promised to investigate.

A very fast and easy check in; a complimentary drink before an excellent dinner; a large comfortable bed; a superb breakfast; and a rapid paperless checkout. Plus brilliant views across the city from the 16th floor....Nothing more required!

Our trip was made pleasant mainly thanks to Tim from France. He kindly offered us a promotional price to upgrade from our tiny room to a deluxe room with a view. The doormen are also friendly and helpful. The bed could be harder as it provides no support and the toilet ventilation has to be improved. If not for the good staff you have, I would say the hotel needs some improvement in terms of its basics with the bed and toilet ventilation.

Firstly, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good job there. However, the first room I was allocated was very noisy - I could hear doors banging the whole night. The beds are also not comfortable as the springs could be felt through the bedding.

Except for a front-desk lady who was very business-like, I had a great experience with the hotel - the room was fantastic, the view incredible, and not forgetting the proximity to King Cross Station, Camden Market and a host of lovely eateries. Above all, Paulo the doorman epitomises the what it means to be a great host. He cheerily helped us with our luggage and even set up the bed for us when he knew we needed the sofa bed when we arrived. On our day of departure, he passed us a water bottle knowing that the journey to Heathrow may be long at that hour. And he did everything with a heartfelt joy and an infectious smile on his face. Perhaps the stylishly dressed front day can learn a few things from him.

Hi, I arrived to the hotel around 9am and I wanted to checkin and get refreshed in one of the rooms before work. I was after very long and early travels and I wrote this in the message when booking the hotel. I have been in the same hotel several times and usually I pay 200-250 pounds. This time I decided to pay approximately 350 just to stay in your hotel, because I liked it and I was expecting that paying this 100 more it would be ok to check in earlier. Unfortunately at the reception (9am in the morning) the lady asked me if I want to have a delux room now for additional 30 pounds or I have to wait until 2pm. I feel this is a little unprofessional approach to your loyal clients and, taking into consideration what I wrote above, asking for additional 30 pounds is just embarrassing. When I approached other lady and explained the situation she said that "sorry we have no free rooms available", which was a lie, as 3 minutes earlier other one said that delux rooms are there. Anyways, I would recommend you to read comments from reservations and be more flexible towards your loyal clients. Have a good day, Damian

« Overall a great experience »

It starts from the greeting you received at the door from Paulo or any other door attendant. Then you walk into the lobby and get blown by its innovative and cool design. Then the attention from the staff makes you feel right at home. Bedrooms are good, food and cocktails from the bar adequate and breakfast is great! Overall, a great experience.

The hotel has a pleasant decor. We had a standard room that was a decent size, however the bathroom was rather compact and a bit annoying that water from the shower seemed to get on the rest of the floor no matter how careful we were. Check in and check out very efficient and pleasant. Breakfast very good.

This was our first experience of a Pullman Hotel, and we were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the comfort of the room, the quality of the food and the superb design of the hotel and its furnishings. Yet another pleasant stay at the Pullman, all the staff are very attentive, room well presented excellent views, breakfast one of the best buffets around We have used the Pullman on several occasions whilst on business and now for pleasure it being our London Hotel of choice, its location to our train station is a short walk away and the area is well served by pubs, restaurants and general eating establishments Its general location also puts the likes of Camden Market a short stroll away and even Covent Garden and Theatre land is a gentle 45 min walk with numerous pubs and restaurants en-route, on all of our stays we always walk and have managed to get to most of the main attractions Lookinf forward to our September break and then a new one before Christmas

From reception to departure every moment in the hotel was a pleasure. Every staff member was a delight to deal with: at the doors, on the reception desk or concierge desks, in the bar and the restaurant. Every request was met with a smile and friendly helpfulness. Our room was perfect for our needs, with more than enough space to open two suitcases and spread out the contents to repack for the long journey home. In a location that can be very busy and noisy, our room faced away from the hectic bustle and frequent sirens of Euston Road and, on the eleventh floor, was high enough to be quiet. It was spotlessly clean.
