Our stay at Novotel Queenstown Lakeside was wonderful. The location of this Hotel is perfect - very close to the city center - convenient to walk for dining and shopping and to join all tours and attractions. The lakeside promenade which is very close to the hotel is so beautiful. Service and experience was very good. Rooms however were looking a bit tired and dated and so were the corridors. Overall stay however was good.

Dear Hari K Thanks for your comments and good to hear that you enjoyed the location and the staff - we continue to have discussions with the owners about the next phase of the Hotel's life and their are certainly plans afoot to do an upgrade - in the meantime we are doing what we can with things such as changing the TV's the Internet, the beds and things that enhance our guests comfort - we also try very hard to maintain what we have and present it well. « Service was great however the room was dated and the bathroom needs a serious makeover. »

The Dissatisfaction comes from three point 1) Air handling unit. Created large amounts of condensation and water pooled on the carpet where there was growing mould. 2) Bathroom, again black mould on the tiles and the shower does not drain. 3) Duvet was not in a cover only a sheet that covered it.

Fantastic location for Queenstown, very close to all the action. The Staff were great, very nice to talk too. The stay was made even better by the hospitality of Ashley, and her extra work in preparing our room. Would recommend and return when back in Queenstown

First time to Queenstown, check in to Novotel was being serve by Singaporean front officer. She able to provide me full information of Queenstown best restaurant and a bucket of to visit list. kind enough she able to provide me a toothbrush as I did mention to her everywhere I stay will have full amenities beside Australia & New Zealand. I would like to suggest to the management of Novotel should all align to provide full amenities for all the patrons, to maintain the gold standard of Novotel. Room was clean and with welcome pastry, would like to come back soon for private vacation. Thank you.

Aside from the above comment my only other is that your web-side is rubbish ! I tried booking on-line but gave up and rung; a very pleasant young lady helped but I syill had a bit of haggling to do to earn the $1 breakfasts (which I did, they were great)

The Hotel couold not be in a better location for Queenstown. Extreamly central and easy to find. Good Valet parking. The room was good with lakeside views. The staff were excellent, especially Aishley, who went above and beyond setting up the room for us. The only negative was the lift had a very bad smell which was not great, we used the stairs instead.
