« Great location and beautiful rooms »

I work for an international event company and frequently organize events in 4 and 5 star hotels around the world, focusing mainly on Europe. We decided to bring one of our annual senior executive events because of the hotel’s meeting spaces with natural light, its central location and what I believe to be very recent renovations throughout. Staff members were very accommodating all-around, from the events staff that seemed to be a step ahead of your requests (special thank you to Nathalie and Margaux) to the concierge and reception desk that arranged a lost coat be returned to its owner who had already returned home. The Italian buffet on one of the days was delicious; just make sure to have more servings of the beef carpaccio prepared as it disappeared too quickly! Croissants during the coffee breaks were to die for so make sure to steal a few. Our coffee cups didn’t seem to fit in the smaller table-top nespresso machines, so I recommend that smaller cups are used for these or go for the machines on the floor stands. The room service menu selection left much to desire regarding food, however there were plenty of spirits and wines to choose from and even a few items for your pet. This did not pose a problem for me as there are plenty of cafes, bars and shops located seconds away in the plaza right out front. Beautiful modern design and overall great experience. Would love to return for another event soon! Bravo to the Sofitel Brussels Europe.

Having checked in and just joined my room in the early evening, service was already knocking at my door when I was changing my clothes. Although I said several times and very clearly "un instant s'il vous plait", a male person from room service simply opened the door in order to hand me a box of pralines. At the breakfast buffet, the juices from all the drink dispensers were empty and they only were refilled after I complained. As usual, I had to ask the waiter for butter which, one more time, had not been automatically placed on my table. Another waiter standing behind my table must have heard my query and gave me then one packed butter on a dirty plate (butter traces from a previous client) which was a leftover from another table . This is not up to the standard and absolutely not tolerable for a five star hotel. I am really disappointed and must say that service and breakfast are a lot better organized at Sofitel "Le Louise". Last but not least, I was also disappointed this time by the bathroom of my room which didn't have an italian shower.

« A relaxiing and highly enjoyable stay. »

After a dreadful journey my arrival at the hotel was the turning point for my trip to Brussels. All the staff were genuinely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was light, clean, tidy, quiet, well organised and properly temperature controlled. I also particularly liked the limited edition print in the room. The bathroom was immaculate and the toiletries generous. A good selection of teas, and chilled water in the fridge were very much appreciated. The breakfast buffet had an excellent variety of options available and I enjoyed everything I tried.

Nice room, but when I book a room without breakfast is it because I do not want breakfast, and do not want to see it on my bill! Online check-in at Accor needs a credit card to be completed so WHY do I need to hand over my credit card to get my room key?

« From check in to check out, my experience at this hotel was great »

The staff at check in were very nice and very efficient. I was upgraded and my room was great. A large room with a good view, very nice bathroom with a tub. The bed was very comfortable. I left after a couple of hours and returned and my bed had been made up even though it was in the afternoon. Also I had left a water bottle l had been drinking out of on the nightstand, another one was placed on the nightstand by the staff . Now that is attention to detail. The only issue lhad were, the TV would turn off after a few seconds. That was fixed promptly by replacing the tv. Overall a great experience.

Starting with a very warm welcome at the reception through the Sofitel Team, we enjoyed any minutes we stay at the hotel. The hotel location is perfect to visit Brüssel without any need to take a car. Many key points of interest are accessible by walking distances. Really great weekend.

We arrived, warmly welcomed by everybody, swiftly unloaded luggage , our keycards and everything prepared already . The room was our preferred one and all the bits we appreciate, more towels , pillows, bathroom amenities was set up just to our liking . Very attentive !!!!! Knowing Brussels for a long time and stayed in different places, apartments, houses, hotels , for us it’s just the best Hotel in town .

arrived very late on the 4thn of june and given a very bad room + the keys did not work at all. I had to go down to the reception 2 times at midnight. thanks to the people in charge, they changed my room on the 2nd day...
