I stayed many times in Sofitel Brussels Europe since 2015 and it was always great to come back. it feels like home and it has a very good location. Bed are very comfortable and breakfast very yummy. After 10 year regularly staying at Sofitel Place Jourdan, i feel like home with that added extra that you are made to feel special by everyone in the hotel. In my recent visit i was particularly impressed by the way hotel staff helped to manage efficiently, meeting colleagues, organising travel arrangements, obtaining information, and even room equipment. In short I am still being surprised by the welcome I get and the willingness of everyone to provide whatever makes my stay comfortable.

Hotel staff were wonderful - very friendly and helpful. The room was great, just as we had hoped - very comfortable and clean, and nicely decorated. Breakfast - great choice and variety, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall an extremely enjoyable stay. This is a nice hotel and I would stay again if coming to Brussels. It is nicely out of the centre but only a 5 minute walk to the Metro and then a short ride into the centre. Three small comments... Ordered chocolates - which were delivered to the room - only gripe was that I ordered dark chocolates and received a mixed selection. We were hoping to dine in the BE Café Marché Jourdan, but upon arrival could only see a very limited selection of foods very similar to that available for room service. We did not ask, as we were put off by the menu choice at the door. The outside area/square was obviously under renovation - again not obvious from the website.

We loved the nearby Parc Leopold, and the metro was a short walk away. The square will be amazing once the renovations are finished. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and very courteous.

We love the breakfast buffet. The room and the hotel. When we arrived our room wasn’t ready, so they offered us complementary drinks at the hotel bar. When our room was delayed you upgraded our room. I didn’t even ask for... and the staff was so polite and friendly... We just loved staying there

Nice room, pleasant staff etc. As a Le Club Accor Gold member normally you should receive a welcome gift, in the Sofitel Brussels Louise it is some biscuits in a nice Rene Magritte tin. In this hotel I didn't receive anything. Normally it is delivered at the evening turn-down service but I didn't receive that service either, I don't know why. I asked about this at check-out and was told the welcome gift was a box of 2 Neuhaus chocolates with a Belgium ribbon on it. If the Accor website states that gold members should receive such a welcome gift/amenity I think it is good practice to deliver it to the relevant guests and that they shouldn't have to ask staff why they didn't receive it. Regarding the welcome drink offered to Le Club Accor silver and gold members, in other Sofitels where I have stayed recently (Louise Brussels, Budapest) this includes a cocktail if you wish, but in this hotel it is restricted to house wine or beer, soft drink or tea/coffee. I don't know why this hotel chooses to be more restrictive in their policy on this, but obviously they are entitled to do this.

I’ve stayed here a number of times. On this occasion there was a ‘mix up’ with my booking. The hotel said that I had reserved two classic rooms with double beds - something I would not have done for the second room for my ‘children’ (20 and 17). The man booking us in was helpful and tried to find a solution but his boss was saying ‘non’ to everything. She was also communicating in French only - discourteous given that this hotel is rated 5 stars and I was speaking in English. Eventually I showed them the booking on my Accor account and they accepted that one room had been booked with twin beds; they also managed to find an appropriate room. However, I feel the need to reiterate how rude and unhelpful the more senior manager was ( not the man who actually checked us in). Hers was not the conduct I would expect from a hotel of this type - she was rude and disrespectful and made the whole process embarrassing. Of course, mistakes get made but a well trained manager should be able to deal with them without embarrassing the client - unacceptable I am afraid from a five star hotel.

It's always really impressive how a fairly large and business-based hotel can manage to get it so right about the blend of friendliness and professionalism with its staff. The staff are so friendly and helpful and do actually make a point of remembering you and being smiley and genuine, but they are also really efficient and professional. The staff are what make this hotel one we keep coming back to. The breakfasts are lovely and the rooms are immaculate. It is such a relaxing and comfortable place to stay.

Very easy check-in rooms were perfect nice size adjoining like we’ve requested. Beds were a bit lumpy we had to turn over the mattres ourselves due to the craters made by not turning them for some time. The room service menu was very limited but the staff were great with us. The breakfast buffet staff were very nice and welcoming and provided excellent service to us.
