« Wine taken from room »

Five bottles of wine was taken from our room. When reported to the management, they made me feel like I was lying. They claimed they checked all the security cameras and they could see some bags taken into the room, but not coming out. This was they claimed proof that no-one had taken the wine. They told me that I had to go to the police for them to do anything, which of course we didn't have time to do. Instead they could have offered us some compensation as a goodwill token, good customer care. Instead they are now losing some good business as we will never stay at a Sofitel again. Also the rollaway bed for our 11 year old daughter was small and with inadequate bedding.

« Nice hotel in the city centre »

We have spend 3 nights with a child in the hotel. Very nice, clean and cosy room. Upon arrival our car has been parked by the concierge and we were accompanied to the room. Excellent service!!! The breakfast was ok but really requires more attention!!! Nevertheless one should mention that the whole staff has been always polite, accommodating and professional. We'll come back!

It is rather unfortunate that the bar closes at midnight. Together with colleagues we are often leaving Luxembourg after dinner, arriving in Bxl only when the bar closes.

« Frozen Deposit »

5 star hotel visit tainted by frozen funds for 7 days. Upon check in €216 was debited on my card (€116 of which was for the room). This is fine despite me having to ask what the extra charge was for, as i was informed it would be refunded upon checkout. Then to my dismay, a further €120 was debited from my account, currently costing me €336 for a room rate of €116. Do you think this is acceptable?

« An Ok hotel with high price »

The hotel obviously did not fulfil my expectations. The room was small. It was tight even for a short stay. The quality of it was not good. The decoration of the room was not nice. The price for value was not good.
