« Friendly staff. Good service. Sad to note the hotel is being downgraded from its previous standards. I wonder about the design and specifications of the renovation. I will be looking for an alternative hotel for my next stay in Monaco / Monte Carlo »

Excellent and friendly staff. Most helpful. Ok room. Poor storage and no closet. Nice shower. Very poor breakfast buffet. Ok dinner. Not the greatest menu for the price. Renovations ongoing. Not sure if they are an improvement but maybe too soon to tell.

The hotel has a good location in Monaco. But I am expecting a better service and a better condition of a hotel in Monaco. I was staying for four (4) days and internet wifi was working only the first day. After a couple of complains from my side and quesitons on when the wifi could start working again. I had the answer that it was not possible until Monday. I was staying Thursday-Sunday. I was on a business trip. This is unacceptable. Also, the hotel is under a serious re-construction. This was disturbing.

Came for business. WiFi in hotel rather hit and miss. Room was nice although carpet tired. Building work meant that bar, restaurant and reception areas like building site.

Was quite shocked to see all the refurbishment going on. My "home from home" no longer there, dining room and bar in the basement, no swimming pool or garden, and no warning when I booked. Also, being in room 645 just under the Terrasse, I was woken each morning by about 6.30 by noises above, moving the gym equipment and walking around. I will still continue to stay at your hotel, as I gather this building work won't take long, but I wish I had been warned.

We had a beautiful time at the newly refurbished junior suite and all this made possible because of the general manager, Mr Guillaume Rapin and Mr Tidiane. Although we were supposed to have 2 nights at the junior suite, they both made it possible to have it in time for the second night at the new junior suite so that we were able to spend our 20th wedding anniversary Novotel hotels hold a special place in our hearts as we had our first experience which was our honeymoon and it was in Gold Coast Novotel. Ever since that we have been having our stays in Novotel for our anniversary’s It might not be a five star establishment but the service and hospitality rendered was way beyond a five star hotel filled with friendly people and they will go out all the way to make it a special place to remember. We loved the view and layout of the new junior suite. The only comments that we had was the bedroom should also have sliding doors as the view at Novotel Monte Carlo was just breathtaking and it would be a waste if they did not put a sliding door for the mater bedroom too Overall it was a wonderful and breathtaking experience filled with friendly people Only complain we had was that Ms Leslie was a bit rude in chasing us out of the room when Mr Tidiane told us that he has blocked the room till 1pm for check out on the 2march. Thank you for the hospitality rendered by Mr Guillaume, Tidiane and the rest of the friendly and hospitalible staffs of Novotel Monte Carlo Keep up the great work

The hotel is very nice and the breakfast was good. The desk staff were unfriendly and couldn't even stop their conversation to open the door.

The bed had some sort of plastic covering which made it difficult to sleep as it reflected a lot of heat. The layout of the bathroom was strange having to walk around from the toilet to the sink.

I have stayed a lot of times to your Hotel. Everything was satisfied as I expected but the works of renovation was an unpleasant surprise . I can understand the need of renovation but I would like having been informed during my reservation , not at the day of my arrival at the hotel. You should have given me the opportunity to decide if I am accepting the present condition or NOT.

We were worried about driving there but the SatNav took us to the front door where there is a parking bay. The staff parked our car for us which is accessed directly from the hotel. The staff were very efficient. The room was clean and well appointed. The only complaint is that as the hotel was being refurbished the bar was in, what I presume, was a function room. It had zero ambience. The hotel was a 10-15 minute walk to most of the main visitor areas, fine when going downhill, but the uphills can’t be avoided in Monaco.

« Great service in spite of renovation works »

The hotel is undergoing extensive renovation affecting the lobby, restaurant and bar. The staff go out of their way to compensate for that. Service is outstanding and the restaurant food quality is very good, though the space is temporarily restricted and has lost its original charm. Everything should be back to normal in April 2019.

Stayed before all ways good shame it was being renovated some of our friends didn't see it as nice as it was!! Rooms great and lovely breakfast. Staff all very good even at breakfast when it was hard with a lot of people and not as muck space. Over all lovely and looking forward to seeing it when all finished.

I was not made aware of the refurbishment works in the hotel and was disturbed as of 8:00AM by noise which intensified dramatically by 9:00AM which made it impossible to stay in the room and obliged to check out at 10:00AM. I was additionally annoyed by the response of the front staff, lady, who responded that I could see that works were going on. Not the answer I was expecting...
