Checked in and went to room to find that the room could not be accessed. The main corridor of the hotel was filthy with lots of debris on the carpet. There had clearly been no cleaning staff in, and it felt very grubby. The duty manager came who also could not access the room. We were then given another room on the same floor. The debris on the corridor floor remained until we checked out.

Very disappointed we were unable to open our window as air con hardly worked. Breakfast excellent - dinner menu not as good as 2016 when we last stayed.

Constant construction work around the hotel and street noise made enjoyment of outdoor pool and balcony difficult. Room in average condition, in need of some TLC. Pool area small , grass littered and dead, horrible quality speakers blaring music despite requests to turn down drove me away from the little pool. Average hotel overall. Expensive for what it is.

i recently stayed at novotel in monte carlo, i have stayed here previously 5 years ago, the breakfast was amazing last time the scrambled egg so decided to come back, overall was a lovely stay although when eating in the resturant one evening we came in at 9:30 and did feel that we were being rushed out of the resturant as the waiter wanting to pack up. Alos when me and my mum were in our room one day a lady barged into the room without knocking and handed us both a bottle of water, i thought it was rather stange she didnt knock first as we could of been doing something private or not been dressed so thta did throw my mum back. The hotel was lovely decorated though and looked as it had been re done since 2015. Great location and friendly staff.

We were a little disappointed with the room in that we booked an Executive room with a balcony so when the children were in bed, we could sit on the balcony -however this wasnt possible as when the childrens beds were made up, you couldnt use the balcony. This should of been described on the website, as otherwise we would not of booked this room. The hotel staff were very friendly and polite.

As always your hotel works. Really wish you would do something about the food. Not much close by and your restaurant is not the best. Room service menu even worse. But your staff is always great and one night I was ill and they were quite helpful. Oh and what’s with the new remodel can’t even use the hairdryer in the bathroom and even in the living room it’s in adequate. I thought the place was wonderful before

Fantastic experience, facilities was exceptional. Every member of staff I came into contact with was pleasant and helpful. My only suggestion is that there should be cups/mugs in the bedrooms. The Paper cups supplied was the only reason I did not give a 10 score.

Overall the hotel was great, nice refurbishment, nice facilities etc. However I was first sent to the wrong room so the key cards didn't work as I'd been given the wrong room number. The trainee who served me was very apologetic and I don't mind the mistake. However I then got sent to my room on the 3rd floor (same as reception) which firstly is very hard to find (the door from the lobby to the rooms is not at all signposted), and then I realised that I had been put in a disabled access room. Not a major problem but given the option, I probably wouldn't have chosen this - particularly as the bathroom is a wet room, so becomes very wet underfoot after showering. I just found it bizarre that I was not told that this is what I was getting, or why (e.g. totally full hotel perhaps?).
