« CONVENIENT LOCATION FOR MY BUSINESS »

I have stayed a lot of times to your Hotel. Everything was satisfied as I expected but the works of renovation was an unpleasant surprise . I can understand the need of renovation but I would like having been informed during my reservation , not at the day of my arrival at the hotel. You should have given me the opportunity to decide if I am accepting the present condition or NOT.

We were worried about driving there but the SatNav took us to the front door where there is a parking bay. The staff parked our car for us which is accessed directly from the hotel. The staff were very efficient. The room was clean and well appointed. The only complaint is that as the hotel was being refurbished the bar was in, what I presume, was a function room. It had zero ambience. The hotel was a 10-15 minute walk to most of the main visitor areas, fine when going downhill, but the uphills can’t be avoided in Monaco.

« Great service in spite of renovation works »

The hotel is undergoing extensive renovation affecting the lobby, restaurant and bar. The staff go out of their way to compensate for that. Service is outstanding and the restaurant food quality is very good, though the space is temporarily restricted and has lost its original charm. Everything should be back to normal in April 2019.

« Good even though the hotel was being renovated »

Stayed before all ways good shame it was being renovated some of our friends didn't see it as nice as it was!! Rooms great and lovely breakfast. Staff all very good even at breakfast when it was hard with a lot of people and not as muck space. Over all lovely and looking forward to seeing it when all finished.

I was not made aware of the refurbishment works in the hotel and was disturbed as of 8:00AM by noise which intensified dramatically by 9:00AM which made it impossible to stay in the room and obliged to check out at 10:00AM. I was additionally annoyed by the response of the front staff, lady, who responded that I could see that works were going on. Not the answer I was expecting...

Breakfast was chaos on the morning of Saturday 19th January. Despite obviously having a list of all the guests your staff seemed to be not prepared for the number of people having breakfast. Bringing in tables from outside while we eating breakfast, coffee machines running out of milk etc etc. The toilet and bathroom arrangement in the room was unusual, a little strange. The renovation works were noisy (during the day). We have stayed in a Mercure Hotel that I think is probably a comparable brand, and there we had a Nespresso machine in our room and a nice bottle of still and sparkling mineral water each day. I say this simply as an example, my point is that given your price point those little extra things you would expect seemed to be missing. To end on a more positive note, we did like having BBC and RAI channels on the TV and the location near the station is very convenient.

We were upgraded to a suite - presumably in compensation for the noisy building work. We enjoyed the lovely room and excellent fitness room. Breakfast gave us good coffee but the cereals were all too sweet. The staff were very helpful.

« Noisy renovation works »

Renovation works that start as early as 815am, and sounded like they were right above our apartment room, which we were upgraded to. The intermittent drilling could be heard even in the afternoon when we were back to the room to rest. Understand that renovations during low season are expected, but locating nearby rooms to guests would most certainly affect the stay/experience, and for our case, our honeymoon.

Very nice staff attending us. Good quality breakfast and dinner. Too hot in the room as only heating working and no possibility to open the window. But we were offered to change room for a window one, so very nice attention. Practical parking. Overall very good experience

« Stayed for a night »

Me and my husband stopped for a night in Novotel. The hotel was successfully chosen by previous impressions from Cyprus, where we comfortably stayed for holidays. Hotel in Monte Carlo has a very good location, pleasant staff, convenient and clean room. We didn’t take breakfast because the price was indecently expensive. Anyway we were satisfied and next time we will choose Novotel again.
