We have given 6 out of 10 NOT because of the service but the layout of the room. The service was excellent, including help for Mr P. during breakfast, etc. We found the room unhelpful for Mr P. with his disability due to the separation of the toilet and the bathroom. The facilities were adequate but the wardrobe space was practically non-existence.

« Still good but somethings were not as they used to be »

Facilities, service, amenities, are still excellent. however, there were some things that were not as good as in previous visits. For example, there was only 1 person helping guests during breakfast time. If I'm not mistaking, during previous visits someone always made sure I didn't run out of coffee. The variety of breakfast options has been significantly reduced in comparison. Sliced fruits were not as fresh as they used to be (I made a waiter aware of it one morning and nothing was done at least for the remaining of my stay at the restaurant. No complaints about the room and the service there.

« Everything I needed »

I felt comfortable and safe in the hotel. Restaurant staff and housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. Some of the staff were not able to give good directions to help me find my way around the local area but mostly tried to be helpful. I had an issue with my account which was stressful until I found the right people to help.

« Good business hotel in up market suburb »

A functional hotel aimed at the business and tour group guest. Rooms are aging but are kept clean by the ever present cleaning staff. Breakfast buffet offered variety and the morning food and beverage manager was simply a delight, ever smiling and helpful. This was in stark contrast to most of the front desk staff who where not friendly or welcoming. I had two issues with my stay, a blocked toilet which was fixed immediately and laundry that despite the ‘returned by 7pm’ did not arrive until 9pm with not apology or explanation from front desk staff other than, ‘it will arrive’.

Your personnel, your facilities and your service are always great. I would make only one comment in reference to your (morning) restaurante staff, for some reason, they don’t acknowledge the presence of some customers, becoming uncomfortable to see how others are being served while someone is ignored. « It's the second time the hotel double charges me (they forgot to cancel the 1st day credit card charge) »

The stay was horrible. The people at reception at my checkout guaranteed they would cancel the 1st day charges but they did not. I have a double charge at my credit card statement and they refuse to answer my email.

Services were good, but the air con was not working in the room and had to open window to cool down the room temperature all night. The next morning, water was dripping from upstairs in the bathroom. Even it was fixed while we were having breakfast, I'm kind of disappointed for all these things happened.
