Convenient location with various shops and bars/restaurants close by and good connection to public transportation (20' to main station). The bathroom was big enough and conventiently arranged. The quality of the toilet paper could have been better (rather scratchy). Good WiFi. Breakfast was okay but we've had better quality in German Ibis Hotels (Munich, Regensburg: open teas, pancakes, Bircher Muesli). Possibility to store the luggage after checkout - however the room is accessible to all guests holding an acccess card. Staff only access and a dedicated number for the suitcase would be preferrable.

I am from Hong Kong. Together with my wife, I travelled to Prague in mid September 2019. Ibis Praha Mala Strana has a very convenient location. You may take bus no. 191 from Prague International Airport and get off at the last but one stop. The hotel is just 5 minutes walk from there. Nearby is the Subway Station Andel which is on the Yellow Line, also known as Line B, plus the stops for a number of trams. If you choose to tour around on foot, Vltava River is just about 15 minutes away. Within an hour of leisure walk, you should reach most scenic spots in the old town. We are also very satisfied with the service and facilities of the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. All in all, we highly recommend the hotel to fellow travellers.

I did not arrive at the hotel eventually (which is why I did not react to the survey when I got it for the first time). However, I want to say 'thank you' to the General Manager of the hotel for hearing my case (regarding my difficult financial situation) and making an exception by refunding half the price of my stay even though the cancellation was not supposed to be refundable. I always try to choose an Ibis when travelling and I am really grateful for the way things ended this time. A huge thank you to this Manager and his good will.

We made a short weekend trip to Prague and decided to stay at the IBIS Mala Strana. It was a great decision! The hotel is easy to find, and was a short distance from the subway and tram stops. Shopping is directly next door. We walked to Prague Castle, which took us about 20 Minutes or so by foot. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and for a basic room, was everything we needed.

I have stayed only for one night, but I have got a very clean room with all the facilities necessary for comfort night of sleep. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any food available in the restaurant, because the kitchen was closed (22h).

I found other people's hair in my bathroom, the shower flooded and the towels were paper thin. The pillows were lumpy. Two colleagues staying at the same time moved hotels.

I arrived late on the first night and check in was very quick so I could head straight to my room. Impressed to see a personal greeting handwritten on the mirror in the room. Also the plate of snacks and water provided was a surprise. Room was clean and tidy - no issues at all.

Noisy rooms and busy lifts

When I checked in I asked for a quiet room, but the room was not quiet, due to a lack of soundproofing. It should not be difficult to add an extra window, as many hotels in city centre locations do. Also it makes no sense to force people to use the lifts; the lifts were slow, sometimes with long queues. It's more environmentally friendly to use the stairs too, but I was told they were for "emergencies only"

Room ok, broken light fixed next day, disappointing evening meal.

We were happy with room in quiet position on 5th floor but bedside light broken could not be fixed until next day. We paid in advance for an evening meal but disappointed that it was a buffet with limited choice and not a la carte. Breakfast buffet was good and plentiful, too much salt in scrambled eggs, but many choices available. Very busy at breakfast on our final day (Saturday 14th) due to coach groups.

This is a very clean Ibis hotel, with friendly staff, and at a good location in town. Also excellent breakfast buffet. Ideally, I would have preferred a room at the side away from the relatively noisy street, but was out of luck there.

During my stay, the room air condition did not work always I asked the reception twice to either fix it or move me to another room which did not happen. The room was not clean and smell, moreover during my stay there was no cleaning or changing the bed sheets. I was not happy during my stay. I complained to Lucas at the reception desk twice and nothing happened.
