« Not up to IBIS standards »

The hotel facility does not seems to be an IBIS one. Old building, old rooms, with a musty smell and a very bad quality pillow. Breakfast on the rush hours without constant replacement of the food (waiting several minutes for a piece of cake). What saved the stay, and the review, was the politeness/courtesy of the employees. All issues raised were solved. Also, we had an incident with my father and they provided a good amount of ice to be used on an injured muscle. Close to good restaurants.

Excuse me, I do not know English. the standard of the hotel is equal to the other ibis I used, the service was very good. but the details are against The hotel does not have a good view, the hassle with the taxi to the airport is wrong, nobody asked if everything was right with the room, they had problem with exhaust fan, tv and wi-fi. it is possible to improve

The hotel employees were extremely friendly, attentive, amicable...from the front desk to the maid, they all make sure we were happy to be there. I was pleased overall besides no room service and the Bar was very poor of choices :( but definitely would go back again....

« What's expected at an Ibis, but... »

Almost everything is Ibis standard in this place, except for the air conditioning in the unit I stayed. The temperature remote control did not work fine, I had to keep it at 10º celsius in order to have the air conditioning engaged.

I enjoyed my brief stay. The breakfast and dinner buffet had a variety of options. I experienced some difficulties with my travel plans and airline errors and a staff member, Marina, assisted in resolving the problem snd heelping to nook a new trip. She deserves to ne recognized and praised for an excellent job. I am extremely grateful to her. I loved my view from my room and enjoyed the accessibility of the hotel and quick access to other parts of the city. Overall, my stay was pleasant and I hope to return in the future. Thank you

Ibis is well known for its value as a no frill hotel, and you know exactly what to expect, clean room, decent bed and hot water for shower. It was as expected, tho at time, water not that hot. But primarily as place to sleep, it was fine. Helpful Staff. I don't speak Portuguese, , but enough staff spoke Spanish or English so had no problems. Service fine, friendly courteous, but I did not need much more than check in, check out. So for good basic lodging, you know what to expect and Ibis does good job.

Staff is super friendly. Shower needs some work - warm water was not really working at times. The food in the restaurant needs improvement. The sirloin dinner u asked for in Tuesday night was as tough as a rock and vegetables were mushy.

« Great location, nice stay! »

It was a nice experience staying at Ibis Rio Vermelho. It’s location couldn’t be better - by the Ocean, walking distance to bars an restaurants, Cafés, all sort of shoppings and a public space where you can experience free performances during the Summer. Besides, the hotel is Pet friendly so I was more than happy to be able to have my dog with me. The one really bad thing that happen was that one of the valets scratched my car, but I saw it only after I left the hotel. Next time I will prefer to park my car myself on the street or pay another parking space.

« We checked in with no problem and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. »

Very pleasant. This is a great location and we were happy to be near an actual community but also near the beach. The accommodations were good, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very helpful.
