Excellent stay! We were very very pleased with our stay at this Ibis. It was convenient and althpugh we did not arrive until after midnight we were made very welcome! Room spacious and very comfy bed. It was spotless and shower room spacious too with great shower!

from the moment i arrived till i left seamless and staff present. Only negative was 50 pound taken from my card on arrival this wasnt really explained to me why and i spend the weekend wondering if this was a hidden charge i had missed when booking

Fine,only thing i would complain about is that the towel rail is WAaaayyyyy to close to the toilet for my taste...it's got to be a real germ fest on those towels...all in all though,it was fine.

Staff welcoming and friendly but possibly the worst night’s sleep I’ve had for a long time as the room (302) was situated right next to the lift and exit stairway door which slammed most if the night and late night party passers by just made for a dreadful night. Not a lot can be done about noisy people but might be worth thinking about soft close door.

Efficient service and comfortable room. Those who haven't stayed before might find it helpful to know that hotel is close to the quayside and despite efficient triple glazing, this means some noise from ships' generators through the night. Doesn't bother me when stay and I keep coming back!

« Problems repeatedly reported were never resolved »

Upon checking in on a Thursday afternoon, I discovered that the BBC2 channel did not work - an error message displayed about the box needing re-setting. Someone from the front desk immediately came up; saw the error message; and said someone would fix it "tomorrow" (i.e. Friday). By Saturday morning, when the TV still did not work, someone else came up & said "there's no-one who can fix this". After a 4-night stay, and with a promise of 15-minute fixes for any problems, this was bewildering and completely unacceptable. Also, the bed was so hard I could not sleep any of the nights. However, my 2 dogs were given the best attention by all staff.

Breakfast buffet could be better. Stayed in lots of Ibis around Europe and the buffets are normally very good with plenty of choice. Seemed a bit dull and limited in Aberdeen

Clean, functional and no frills. But beds were uncomfortable and towels were thin and there was no telephone in the room. So felt a lot cheaper than it should have done.
