« Just OK »

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the bed was comfortable. However, the breakfast was terrible and they had run out of pretty much everything on the Sunday morning by 11.30am so there was almost nothing for a vegetarian to eat. The cleaners were massively noisy in the morning outside the rooms in the corridors, the hoovering I get but the loud conversation was annoying.

« Very relaxed, comfortable night. »

The room is good, bed comfortable, clean surroundings, friendly service. Only problem is the towels provided - could do with a couple of small ones for hand washing/hair drying also the towels have seen better days! Another problem which is not caused by the hotel is the noise from late night revellers - lots of shouting into the early ours of the morning.

Moving out of town and having vacated my previous rent flat a few days before, I needed a short stay at a city centre hotel for some last-minute arrangements and farewells. My outward flight was scheduled for three days after check-in. Your ibis Aberdeen Centre - Quayside hotel perfectly fitted the bill and the reception team was outstanding, always at the ready to step in and provide some help with no fuss. Well done and thank you, I shall be visiting again should I find myself in the Granite City.

The room was as expected. Clean, tidy and the usual layout. Unfortunately there was a gas problem overnight, and we awoke to a cold room and cold water only. As we left, we pointed out the problem, and were told of the problem. I feel that we should have been told of the problem as we approached the desk. It was nobody’s fault, but it should have been handled better.
