had recently stayed 10 out of the last 12 weeks at jurys inn aberdeen, but decided to try ibis. so glad i did. all staff i met were brilliant - from checkin staff to bar staff. room was modern, clean, quiet and very functional. great price and location. staying again next week!!!

My mother , partner and I had a two night b&b stay here just for a break . the rooms were clean the buffet breakfasts were good and all the staff were attentive and friendly . overall good value for the price will probably use this hotel again .

Single beds were so small and the room was unbearably hot. We had windows open and a fan from reception but it was still too hot! It wasn’t even that warm outside.

I myself quite happy but my husband not happy with fried breakfast and thought the bed was too hard.Another guest sat in the corner of the bar and was a bit of a put off and was not very complimentery to you so we didn’t enjoy sitting there having our drinks and went to our room. The staff were very inviting and friendly so we will stay again.

On arrival at the hotel we (my son and I) were advised our twin room we had been allocated was suitable for disabled guests and the only difference we needed to be aware of was that we had a wet-room shower as opposed to a standard bathroom. As it was 9pm and we’d been travelling all day without having had dinner yet we accepted the reception desk clerk at their word and simply dropped our bags into the room and went out for dinner. On returning to the room we realised the bin had some empty bottles in it but thought the cleaner had just forgotten to empty it. However, when we woke the next morning and went to shower we realised this was an impossible task for my son, who at 5ft 10in could not fit under the shower. In addition to the bin issue, we had not been given any hand towels therefore I suspect the room was not prepared properly between the previous s guests leaving and us arriving. Unfortunately when I went to check out and complain there were already 3 other customers waiting for the reception clerk. We waited about 5 mins but could wait no longer otherwise we would’ve been later or our appointment. Overall, I was very disappointed. Having visited a number of IBIS hotels booked via my employer this was not the standard I expected. I will not be recommending this hotel again.

There were good and bad areas your rooms were good but your staff were very difficult to understand I'm not meaning this in a bad way but I really struggled to understand a lot of your staff and had to continuously ask what they were saying and I heard a few other guests doing the same, we asked for cold drinking water only to get luke warm tap water, your food was really really bad as we paid so much for 2 and it was awful but the rooms were brilliant and your staff were very friendly

We caught the airport bus. Stop is very short walk to the hotel, we were quite early but our room was ready. Bonus! Lovely view of the harbour. Room comfortable with all the basic amenities. Branded tea And coffee. The position of the hotel is excellent for Aberdeen city. We usually eat out,but did have a Drink at the bar. Overal very good weekend.

Hotel was clean, facilities good, mostly unworn as this seems to be a new hotel. Staff were friendly, helpful and competent. only minor hiccup was cooked breakfast, although plentiful and topped up regularly, it was left uncovered which allowed it to cool quickly, suspect this is corporate decisiion rather than a local one and might not have been an issue if hotel had been busy and generated a quicker turnover of food, please regard as an observation and not a complaint.
