« It was good! »

My overall experience was good! Was just disappointed that I had no help with luggage, minding you I was pregnant, and really struggled to fit my luggage into elevator, door was too narrow and had to get luggage out of the kart to fit into elevator and then load them again onto the kart to be able to carry them all by myself into my room. Same was done on my way out. It could’ve been better. Breakfast was excellent! All the guys there were really helpful and super nice offering things and even bringing me pai de queijo to me at my table while I was eating my breakfast! Reception crew was really nice as well! But for the price I would stay at Ibis next time, since I will have to carry my own luggage anyway.

Great experience, from front office desk to room and breakfast. I would suggest cleaning the pool chairs and floor more often, they were fairly dusty due to the dry season. Also, although efficient, the front desk staff could be slightly more friendly, maybe a bit more personnal.

« Overall a good experience at the Mercure »

The hotel is nice but the room I was in was very cramped due to an extra bed in it. Perhaps a single person shouldn't be placed in that room as I had no need for the additional bed. Also the restaurant menu is very limited. After a few nights in the hotel I started looking for somewhere else to eat. More gluten-free items on the menu and buffet would be nice.

Enjoyed the time there. The location allows walk to the mall and places around. The hotel was kind of full and the late breakfast wasn’t as good as I thought would be. Was missing some foods and wasn’t that clean either

Friendly and welcoming with pleasant and happy staff personnel and comfortable, well appointed rooms, and in a good location for local amenities. Menu and food was okay but the restaurant area is cramped and airless with no natural light. On other points: Personally I do not like rooms where I cannot open the windows, your gymnasium needs better facilities (and all working), your 'Business Centre' is a joke, the wooden pool beds need cushions to be made available to be comfortable and the car valet staff need to better and uniformly briefed (one concierge charged a cash fee the others did not...?! Which is correct?....)

Online check-in worked perfectly. Assigned to a room with very nice view of SJCampos main street. Courtesy Dutch Tarte was delightful. Internet worked fine, Air conditioning, etc..Courtesy drik - the Espresso coffee was excellent in the early morning. The place that make me feel at home

It was the second time I was accommodated at this hotel for business trip and I will not repeat for several reasons. I requested a quiet floor beforehand. I was offered a room on floor 11 during my check in and when I entered into the room, it was smelling cigarette. I immediately requested a change and there was only availability on 1st Floor, what a nightmare!! Room next to the pool with parties during 3 evenings in a row. Noisy refrigerator, impossible to sleep with that noise. Reposition of towels did not happen every day. Disappointing breakfast experience compared to the first time I had stayed at this hotel. The variety of fruit and quality of juices was much worse. And if you stay in a high floor, you can spend long minutes waiting for the elevator and no stairs available for other use than emergency. In resume, it is not a 3 star hotel.
