Staff very welcoming but I ordered a pizza at the restaurant and it was the worse pizza I have ever eaten in my whole life and I mean it. We are in Italy and they offer frozen pizzas. I couldn’t cut the paste around it and the pizza inside was still cold. I didn’t say anything at the moment because I took it away to eat in my room and didn’t want to come down again. I wanted to thank the reception team for being so nice, they did not accept I pay the shuttle for both ways. The room was very nice, spacious and clean.

« Hotel room was fine but the check in was troublesome »

I always stay at the IBIS Malpensa when I travel to Italy and have never had an issue. But this time the front desk clerk (I believe her name was Martina) gave me a hard time. She was rude and asked for documentation of the two people that had accompanied me/to help me check in. They were not staying at the hotel yet she was insistent on them providing a Passport. When one of them provided a state ID, she would not accept this as sufficient ID. She would not let my guests help me to my room to drop off luggage. They were asked to stay in the lobby.

« The only customers this hotel cares for is from Costa Cruise so others pl dont stay unless forced or have no choice »

I have been staying here regularly over past few years .. however as a Platinum member of Accor hotels I think I should start looking out for options around Malpensa airport and there are plenty i believe may not be from Accor group but other brands ...The check in was not welcome as I am used to get ... I asked for a room on a specific floor and the answer was not available the same was for upgrade and i was told not possible ... even the welcome drink voucher i have to ask for ...The room heating was non existent and when I requested i got funny answers ... so much for the energy saving that even in low temp situation room heating was not switched on ...On my first night they switched off the room heating around 10 pm in the night and it was switched on only when I persisted the next afternoon .... this is silly to say the least ... I think i am done with this hotel for future and will not stay here until I have no other choice. The two stars are for the Restaurant service and Shuttle bus service .. for everything else i would like to give a big zero ...

« Not a perfect stay »

The location is quite far from airport, especially terminal 1 where most airlines are located, shuttle only start earliest at 5 AM, which is too late for first flight. Room was not too bad but heater was not functioning well.

« Terrible experience. »

I have been over charge by Ibis Malpensa for Euro 496 and I have been sending several emails to the hotel before check in, but until now, I have not receive any feed back from you. Below, you will find the email to front office manager Francesco. We will need only 2 rooms on 22nd of NOV. But due your system error, I have made few booking as below. 1. GTXDBJHL. 2. GTXDBJFF 3. GTXDBJNH 4. GTXDBJCG These 4 booking codes above are booked via Accor website, when I make the booking via Accor website, it has shown the booking are not successful. So I am forced to make another reservation via booking.com (REF: 12…) which is successful. Then after 30 mins, I have receive an email from Accor shows that all 4 bookings that i have made are complete and has already charge me Euro 496 from my credit card. Now I have to paid Euro 124 X 5 times= Euro 620 in order to get 2 rooms on 22nd of Nov. I have been staying in your hotel and your group for many years and as your loyalty customer (Silver: 30…87342) and due to it is cause by your website error, I strongly request you to return Euro 496 back to my credit card. « Transportation was a nightmare, room and food good. »

Arrived at the Milan Malpensa Airport by bus from center city. There was NO indication on any hotel pickup location, and my phone would no connect with the hotel. After spending well over an hour walking from end to end and asking employees of the airport I finally went into Sheridan Hotel and ask for help. They were kind enough to call your hotel and explain where transportation was. They gave me “service”. Explained to the front desk about transportation back in the morning at 6:30, no problem the desk said. Requested a 6:00 wakeup call. My call came at 6:20 and I missed the 6:30 bus. No problem desk said 7:00 has room, which they did. However, as the luggage was about to be loaded he driver asked for my ticket, which I did not have (desk didn’t give me at tell me I needed). The driver was kink enough to wait, making everyone in the bus wait also. This is not my past experience with your hotels and I was very upset by this. On the plus side the room was clean, comfortable and the food was fine. Please do something about the transportation. Next time I will stay at the Sheridan the stress is not worth the savings.

« Excellent value near Milan's Malpensa airport »

This is a great and inexpensive place near Malpensa airport, especially if you have to return a rental car in the morning. You can easily drive into the hotel from the highway and then easily be at the airport in the morning to return the car and fly out.

The staff are excellent, friendly and professional. The facilities are clean and comfortable. I used the airport shuttle both to return my rental car after evening check in and to catch my early morning departure. It was very handy.

« Below expectations stay »

It was not really great. Hotel shuttle bus not indicated at the airport terminal; a board or just a printed paper Withe timings could have been hanged on the glass-door of the airport. At the reception, I was told that room upgrade for club members was not offered at Ibis but only from Novotel and above categories. I really ignore if this is true or not. For the welcome drink offered to a platinum club member, at the bar they suggested water or a small glass of beer and nothing else. Poor breakfast with almost empty plates 45 minutes before the time and started to remove everything half an hour before time while some new people were arriving. I even saw the dining room supervisor checking the plates and all he did is that he ate a croissant that was left. When I com plained at the reception desk, they called him and he refused to come and explain the facts.

The check in was slow with only one person on the counter and she was experiencing problems. One staff member spoke no English. We had to find the barman for a drink.

The hotel was nice, with a convenient airport shuttle. They were pretty full when we stayed, needed extra towels and hangers. The front desk brought them quickly! Unfortunately the bed was to hard for out taste.

« One of the worst hotels I've ever had the displeasure of staying in. »

Everything about this hotel is appalling. Worst of all, they kept turning the air conditioning off in my room - even though it was SUMMER. I had to keep calling reception to ask them to call it on. There's only one restaurant and the food was horrible. Even the coffee was terrible. Will never stay again.
