« Excellent Hotel »

The room was generously sized, immaculately clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast good quality and generous. We have stayed here over a number of years and it has never disappointed. We have seen, however, as the hotel has become more successful and well known that car parking has become ,on occasion, something of an issue because of the presence of a significant number of coaches taking multiple car parking spaces. Otherwise excellent.

Hotel is new, close to Milan Malpensa airport. Room was really good, including a coffee machine which we don't usually find on this kind of hotel. Employees were kind and gentle whenever I interacted with them.

Everyone that we came in contact with acted as if we were a bother. From checking to restaurants/bar. Absolutely NO customer service. Just plain Rude. I WOULD NOT stay here again nor would I ever recommend it to anyone.

« Just the last day was a poor experience. »

I asked for a delayed check out at 9.00am as I had a late afternoon flight on March 22nd but was told that the hotel was full. When I walked out the rates were lower than usual and being a Saturday and an airport hotel it was also less busy. I think this could have been easily given and from previous experiences at IBIS have always been extended even when I was not a gold or silver bearing member. Of course I brought this to the notice of the same receptionist that the rates were lower and it was not busy who then offered to extend. But by then, I had decided to check out because i felt it was not in keeping with the high level of service I have always got from Accor group.

« Exactly what we were expecting and more. »

Everything described in your hotel description was accurate. The rooms were updated and clean. Check in/out went smoothly. Parking was free. Desk reception went out of her way to help us figure out how to drop our car rental. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. A great experience!

This hotel is very convenient to Malpensa Airport. It runs a shuttle every 30 minutes to and from the airport. The staff is efficient, the restaurant is adequate and friendly, and the accommodation is plain but comfortable.

« Not to the standard I’m used to.upon arrival »

Upon arrival personnel at the reception was frindly and helpful. We were told that the restaurant was closed and that we could have something at the bar. My wife ordered a glass of wine and it was quite clear that the bottle was topped up with a different wine as it was not what was ordered. We later ordered 2 pizzas and after having waited for a long time only 1 arrived and we were told that 2nd was on its way. Again this took 15 minutes and in the meantime nobody served at the bar. I requested 2 times regarding the receipt for payment and I was adviced that I would receive the same by email. I have not received the invoice to date. I have stayed in the IBIS on many occasions but this was the worst experience. Should you wish to contact me please let me have your reply by email.

Everything was accordingly to expectations. The only issue we had is that the check in staff member did not say we had to book the transfer to the airport the next day, so instead of spending 30€, we had to spend 100€.

Staff very welcoming but I ordered a pizza at the restaurant and it was the worse pizza I have ever eaten in my whole life and I mean it. We are in Italy and they offer frozen pizzas. I couldn’t cut the paste around it and the pizza inside was still cold. I didn’t say anything at the moment because I took it away to eat in my room and didn’t want to come down again. I wanted to thank the reception team for being so nice, they did not accept I pay the shuttle for both ways. The room was very nice, spacious and clean.

« Hotel room was fine but the check in was troublesome »

I always stay at the IBIS Malpensa when I travel to Italy and have never had an issue. But this time the front desk clerk (I believe her name was Martina) gave me a hard time. She was rude and asked for documentation of the two people that had accompanied me/to help me check in. They were not staying at the hotel yet she was insistent on them providing a Passport. When one of them provided a state ID, she would not accept this as sufficient ID. She would not let my guests help me to my room to drop off luggage. They were asked to stay in the lobby.

« The only customers this hotel cares for is from Costa Cruise so others pl dont stay unless forced or have no choice »

I have been staying here regularly over past few years .. however as a Platinum member of Accor hotels I think I should start looking out for options around Malpensa airport and there are plenty i believe may not be from Accor group but other brands ...The check in was not welcome as I am used to get ... I asked for a room on a specific floor and the answer was not available the same was for upgrade and i was told not possible ... even the welcome drink voucher i have to ask for ...The room heating was non existent and when I requested i got funny answers ... so much for the energy saving that even in low temp situation room heating was not switched on ...On my first night they switched off the room heating around 10 pm in the night and it was switched on only when I persisted the next afternoon .... this is silly to say the least ... I think i am done with this hotel for future and will not stay here until I have no other choice. The two stars are for the Restaurant service and Shuttle bus service .. for everything else i would like to give a big zero ...
