late arrival, free parking space in weekends, super quick and functional. Only point for improvement was that hotelroom was a bit warm and hard to cool it down.

Hotel clean& really comfortable,loved the layout of the rooms compact but good,bedding & pillows were unbelievably comfy, disappointing that kitchen wasn’t operating as advertised,staff looking extortionate price for travel plug as I forgot mine (15euro)3 euro in town. staff told us gvb buses finished at 12:30 at night so for the 1st few days of our trip had us paying taxis over 20 euro almost 3 times a day to get back to the hotel until a friendly busman enlightened us that gvb have an hourly nightbus in which we could use our travel card. Shower had a mind of its own kept going hot/cold by itself I’ve stayed at ibis hotels before,usually @ central station,so perhaps I was expecting the same experience as I had there but I regret to say that the city west hotel just didn’t forfill my expectations,I think I’d prefer to use the central station hotel again in future,sorry for sounding negative guys but it’s my honest opinion

Easy access from airport, friendly staff, able to check in early which was great. Room small and basic but that is what we expected and paid for. Bed very hard and uncomfortable but good size. Towels and bedding really poor quality compared to other 3 star hotels. Room nice and clean. Good advice from staff on travelling around. Safe easy to use. Would have loved a fridge in the room.

We stayed for a short break away, location wasn’t it’s best but I Already expected that. For €17 the breakfast was awful!!!!! We arrived for breakfast a 8.45/9.00 and nearly everything had gone, there was no yoghurt, the egg, sausage was cold with no facilities to heat up. We wanted to have a meal in the bar at the night time and we was told the bar will be shutting early so if we wanted something it would have had to have then there and then it was around 6pm. When we wasn’t hungry due to a late lunch. The rooms are beautiful! They are everything we expected. Shame about the house keeping we was having a nap one day due to us feeling ill and they kept knocking on our door even though we told them we didn’t need them.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel room was not as welcoming and warm as I had hoped, the bathroom is terrible, very basic plastic standard and tiny. Rooms were clean, bed comfy and shower decent but water kept going hot and cold.

This hotel did everything right, from friendly and helpful staff to clean, simple and functional rooms. My stay was really wonderful EXCEPT for the extortionate amount charged for breakfast. At €17, the offering was underwhelming to say the least. Pastries were consistently hard/stale, and bacon was available the first day but never again thereafter, with an ever present potato croquette less than appetizing. The price paid for the food offered is way to expensive. Between €12 and €14 would’ve been more appropriate. BUT apart from the breakfast offering, the IBIS City West in Amsterdam is close to a perfect hotel. Thank you to the whole team for a lovely stay.

When travelling in winter time, believe most of the traveler prefer to drink hot water rather than cold. When we stayed in this hotel for couple of days there, I noticed that drinking water will not be supplied, which is fine, I can buy bottle water. When I checked with the Reception desk to see if they can provide Electric kettle and cups, was told that I can only get hot water from their bar next to the Reception Desk. Lucky I have my own thermos flask, I can still use this to get hot water up but I'll have to do the same whenever I need it. The first night was ok since I dined in their restaurant, but when I get it again in the second night, the staff there was not helpful at all, 2 staff asked the same lady to help me afterwards which made me feel so bad. I ended up not getting anything from them the following nights. I never came across this kind of situations in the past, even when I stayed in the same hotel in Prague, they immediately provided an electric kettle and cups for us to use during my stay there.

I specifically booked a twin room with an extra bed. This suited our sleeping arrangements and then also made a further note that I required individual beds and not a double bed. On arrival, there was only a double bed with single sleeper sofa. This was not appropriate for us and left a rather awkward and uncomfortable sleeping arrangement. When I brought this up with your staff, they were of the opinion that it was perfectly acceptable for me to share a bed with my mother regardless of our relationship and boundaries based on her relationship with her mother and no alternative was offered. I found this rather frustrating and insulting. When booking there is a distinct difference for a double vs twin beds and they are not the same or interchangeable. When booking I was very specific, but this was disrespected and ignored. As I has prepaid I had very little option but to accept the room as it was

Great location with easy access to both airport and city centre. Would recommend that guests travel to city centre by no. 22 bus rather than metro - it's a quick 10 minute journey. Disappointed that kitchen closes so 10pm so no food (hot snacks) availble after that - especially give there are no bars, restaurants within the immediate location - there is a Burger King next door but.... service is hotel bar was very, very slow - hotel reception staff have clear sight of bar area but took no action to ensure bar was staffed. Overall happy with stay but some issues need addressed.

Was very happy with our room. The bed was comfy, tidy & very clean. When we arrived the TV wouldn’t work, and the staff sorted it out in no time. The staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We went for my partners birthday & they left a little bit of something in the hotel room for him! Would defiantly stay here again! Only a 10 minutes bus journey into the city. Couldn’t fault it in any way.
