The air conditioning did not work. No light in the toilet. Besides, the rest worked without problems. Quiet room. Breakfast is modest, as in Ibis Budget, but you can be satisfied and eat. Service very nice.

« Too basic for more than one night »

Hotel was clean and functional but too basic for our liking. Staff were exceptional - hard working, friendly, polite, helpful Rooms very basic - not enough space to take much out of suitcases. Breakfast was very noisy/busy - but they only have disposable cups for drinks.

The room was fine for a brief stay however I don't think it was made clear enough that the shower was in the same room as the bed and the toilet was behind a thin door. I feel the pictures on the website were misleading as we had no idea this was how the room was set up and likely wouldn't have booked the room had we known. It's not the most ideal set up for a couple.

Very well located, very good for money. Its best assets: its people. Specially, I would like to say a big thank you to the top of the receptionist , Neuza, you were great as we said you went the extra mile in every single aspect, you made me feel special, and I really appreciated you and Carlos singing happy birthday to me in Portuguese, I will never forget it, then it was the top of the courtesy and it showed the great person and wonderful professional you are. « Good stay, but once again for an Ibis hotel stay check-in, although friendly, was a farce. »

The hotel was up to the chains standards, with a satisfying breakfast and comfortable room, although the mattress was a little hard. Staff were friendly and for me, with a vehicle, the location was perfect with easy and quick access to beaches, shopping mall with its very good food court eateries, and the city. Unfortunately check-in was not pleasant. This is the second report I have written about substandard check-in for Ibis hotels; the first being Ibis Faro. I was made to pay for the room on arrival even though I had authorised my card to be used on checkout via the on-line registration. This on-line registration process should facilitate a quick checkout when, with normal practices, the key would be dropped off at reception and the CC debited by the staff, or whoever, a little later. Even if the CC had not been authorised by me at the on-line check-in stage for full payment, then I should have been asked to pay my hotel bill on departure as has been the case everywhere else I have stayed, including the Ibis Faro.
