« Parking »

You announce a parking on Trivago but it doesn't exists. The parking was the street. And the other Ibis with parking were completed. I'll never come back again. Extremely expensive for a very small room.

« Can be improved »

The pillowcase were at the inverted side. And the bed sheet was not tucked properly. Overall cleanliness is satisfying. The heater in the room is not warm at all.

« Our one-night stay. »

We only needed to stay for one night, plus breakfast, and the hotel was perfectly adequate for our needs. The staff were helpful. The room and the toilet and shower facilities were nice and clean, although quite small, and the bed was comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast was reasonable for the price charged. We hope to use Ibis Budget Hotel again when waiting to catch the train from Gare St Jean because it is very close to the station. Thank you.

Easy to book, easy to find, perfectly placed for the station and airport bus, very efficient pre-checking and invoicing, spotlessly clean and operational, a good shower with loads of hot water, overall an excellent experience where it not for the heating which I do not seem to be able to use to the desired effect.

« Smokers ruin the experience »

We stay at Ibis hotels because they are budget and we are not in our rooms most of the day, so don't require many services. However, being a non-smoking Hotel, that is what we expect - no smoke. At night, with the air conditioning/heating on, just as we were going to sleep, there was a putrid smell of smoke came into the room. The same happened in the morning. Neither the window nor door were open, and we checked the hallway, which didn't smell of smoke, so we found that smell was coming through the air unit. We turned the air unit off, and opened the window. People standing under the window were smoking, and being noisy. Closed the window, and the smoky smell persisted. There was no way of ridding our room of the smell. This happened two night. We asked at reception desk if the hotel was indeed non-smoking, and were assured it was. They couldn't offer any explanation for the smell of smoke. We figured that one of the staff members must be smoking outside where the air intake is for the hotel rooms, and that is what we were smelling. Unsatisfactory!

« Good if you can accept the Budget Price »

Good Hotel , but a price of Euro 65 for a single room with basic amenities is too steep .Breakfast is worth the price . Excellent location for train and tram travelers . Surrounded by a variety of restaurants which makes the stay complete and convenient !

Clean and proper. Room felt like a dorm. Staff friendly and helpful. Literally across the street from the train station and the city’s light rail. Perfect location for an overnight stay between two segments of rail travel. Dozens of restaurants, bars and shops nearby.

« Clean, comfortable, secure, and hospitable. »

Everything we needed was in our hotel room, comfortable bed, an extra bed on top, ( we used it on one trip with our daughter) a bathroom with a nice shower. Enough beddings and towels for the night. We payed for a good breakfast in a large room with plenty of tables.We appreciated not going out for breakfast in a city we did know very well. The hotel was very close to the train station, a little more than across the street. We slept well without being bothered by noise or glare from the street or from trains. The price was very good, the staff very nice. I have recommended this hotel and any Ibis to family and friends .

Convenient location just across the road from the main train station. The staff were friendly and helpful. Efficient service.... spotless... comfortable small room. Would certainly recommend and make a return visit. Couldn't be beaten on price/value.

All very good. The staff were all helpful & the breakfast was good. However a tin hat would be useful to protect your head when it hits the overhead bunk bed. It seemed to happen to at least one of us every day. Our bedroom was extremely hot & the air conditioning unit was not coping. What happens in summer ? Opening the window seemed to help a bit.

« Didn't meet the basic expectations of street noise isolation. »

The window didnt close properly, leaving a slit between the window and the frame. In addition, the aireation slit on top of the window couldnt be closed, leaving an open space without any noise isolation continuosly open. Therefore, any noise from the street nearby, a quite busy street indeed, was heard in the room all day, giving the impression of sleeping with open windows.
