« New meaning to budget! »

This hotel gave new meaning to the word budget! In fact I consider it a hostel with the option of not having to share a room. The room needs a full renovation. The grouting between the tiles in the bathroom is filthy and in need of a good bleaching in my opinion. The room was exceptionally hot to the point that my husband, son and myself were sleeping practically naked, even with the temperature gauge turned right down to the lowest dial as there was no air con in the room and the windows could not even be opened. We arrived as a party of 3 and had to make the bed up on the top bunk ourselves, and had to ask reception for a third towel! On the last night, after our room was 'tidied', they didn't even bother giving us a third towel and I just couldn't be asked to go and get another. Added to that, for some reason our cards kept malfunctioning to use the lift to go to our room, which meant we were constantly having to go to reception to get them sort it out. The only positive was the friendly receptionist who checked us in and it's proximity to a metro line. Would definitely not use again, or if I do use the more expensive option to have a room at the Ibis rather than his disappointing brother, Ibis Budge.

« Good but breakfast experience needs improving »

The stay was good and hotel was as we expected as we have been many times in Accor hotels, we knew what to expect. However, the breakfast was a big let down, not enough tables, very badly organised, the last day we went down to find it closed (was bank holiday and closed earlier) and we were offered to have it instead in the room of the Ibis not the Budget. The lady at the breakfast room had a really bad attitude, not only noticed by us, but by everyone around us who noticed how she was overlooking everyone, not being helpful, looking miserable and at one point she stood in the busiest time of the day with a box of cheeses to stock the cheeses fridge without allowing anyone to get anything. When I asked her for a tea spoon for my daugher she said with a not friendly face that you didn't have any, only to find out you do have but they were being washed. To be honest, she only came back with around 15 back, no, she did not offer me any so my 3 year old had to eat a yogurth with a big spoon. Having being worked in one of your Ibis, I found appaling the way she looked at the customers, her attitude and the face she had ALL time. The lady who was cleaning the table was super lovely, though. Also, when I tried to call the hotel to let them know we would arrive after midnight, I could not get through as the line would cut (10 times!) I finally pressed change booking only to be pass from one agent to the other and being offered to call again later... after 20 minutes of discussing with them, I had enough as they told me they could do nothing! Seriously you have an email address where you can contact the hotel?????

« Ibis tried to lie »

I booked two rooms for my client and myself. When my client checked in, the person at the desk tried to tell her that there was no space for her, and that they were going to move her to another hotel in central Paris. This was unacceptable because we specifically chose this location for work purposes. She asked to speak to the supervisor, and suddenly the employee found a room for her. When it was my turn to check in late at night, I was told that the hotel was full and there was no space for me. When I showed the employee my reservation, he suddenly found a room for me. Unacceptable

« It was ok,as expected for Ibis Budget, except for 2 details. »

2 Problems: - No adult pillow was available. I request for adult pillows, but only child pillow was available. I complaint but no soluction. The reception said: "I am sorry. No one is available". That means: Soluction in 15 minutes (satisfaction guarantee) does not work. - Parking. My car is 2m high. Does not go through into the Garage.

« Overally satisfied with the provided service »

Only thing you should improve, the type cards to access elevator and room door. It is always getting be wrong after putting it bag. Receptionist told it's a common thing because other cards and coins can make this happen to the card. We haven't had this problem in Krakow located Ibis Budget. Other problem I had to face, that on AccorHotels.com the price of our stay can only be paid with credit card. Me and my girlfriend have only debit cards, so we should borrow a credit card to pay this cost. Maybe Ibis customers have credit cards not just debit card, but for a budget hotel I think it's a high expectation. I gave here 8/10 because I think chosing Ibis Budget hotel is worth it's value. For travellers who took the time to go outside it's a perfect choice. Clean and modern looking room with good WiFi signal. Bed is also comfortable, so I think will choose your service for the most of my travels.

« very stuffy room - had to keep the door open (the air conditioner did not help) »

The combination of price and location, plus friendly staff, express check in/out, and bag storage; thank you so much! I guess all hotel rooms in Paris are small everywhere (stayed in 3 different hotels). I wish the window could be opened or the air conditioner worked properly. Many thanks to the 4th floor housekeepers!!!

« EVERYTHING WAS VERY MUCH SATISFACTORY. NO COMPLAINTS WHAT SO EVER ;) »

I SUPPOSE THE ONLY THING THAT I WAS A LITTLE UNHAPPY WITH WAS HOW MY ROOM WAS EXACTLY OPPOSITE THE LAUNDRY I THINK. SO I WAS CONSTANTLY HERE THE OPENING & SHUTING OF THE DOOR FMO THERE. BESIDES THAT I WAS HAPPY WITH THE SPACE & OVERALL CLEANLINESS OF THE ROOM.

« An ok experience, but could be better »

I can't really describe in good words how my stay went. The room was ok, despite me making a reservation for 3 people and the room being ready just for 2. The 3rd person bed was unmade, making us have to make a bed when we first got there and were tired from the trip. The blinds were broken, so we never had sun and daylight. The housekeeping service went to the room everyday which is very nice, but didn't do a lot for the room and actually unmade the third bed that we had to make on the first day, making us make the bed again. The tv doesn't allow usb connections and some other guests were noisy and a little troubling. The room card failed everyday and we had to go to the reception to fix it. The area around the hotel is a little strange, but it's safe. For the price, it's not a terrible place to stay for a few nights.

« Good value for payed money »

Well, what to say about Ibis hotels generaly? They are very good value for the price. Especially when you are in Paris! in my opinion you' re not in this city to watch and stay in the room...you're here to see the city! You need some place where you can sleep and have a shower, and for this purpose Ibis is just fine. As I said, that's just my opinion :) Speaking about rooms - a few past years I used to stay in Ibis Porte the Bagnolet...i better prefer rooms with 6-digit codes than cards for the rooms and elevator like in this Ibis. Why? Because in 2 days I had 3 times problem with my card (elevator and room didn't recognize it), so I had to go to reception where they had to reset card. But I was not the only one - i saw that a lot of other tourist had the same problem! Also, there's some other little things that I missed comparing with other Ibis Porte de Bagnolet (like chair, more light options...). But generaly, I think this Ibis is a little bit more cleaner (rooms also) than Ibis on Porte de Bagnolet. :)

Well, what to say about Ibis hotels generaly? They are very good value for the price. Especially when you are in Paris! in my opinion you' re not in this city to watch and stay in the room...you're here to see the city! You need some place where you can sleep and have a shower, and for this purpose Ibis is just fine. As I said, that's just my opinion :)

In weekend when I arrived the room was really freezing. Starting with Monday the room was getting warmer by letting the bath room open. This bring a smell in the room. Is true that were the most freezing days in Paris.

« Good for the budget »

This is a standard Ibis Budget in the ring of Paris. The hotel is nice but the region outside is a bit scary. I never had problems but I would avoid arriving late by foot.

« Worst »

Hotell room is non smoking area also hotel. But when i enter my room, there are full of smoking smell and flloor , there are dirty things that i dont know what is it. I got headache and felt nauseous.
