Rooms were fine - although to get a twin room my son had to sleep on a sofa bed. Other issues were it was very crowded at breakfast (and a wait for tables) and food ran out regularly. The hotel was a long way from public transport.

« Overall satisfactory although a couple of enhancements would improve stay. »

Points for improvement - a shower curtain in the bathroom. Whilst the wetroom style provided space the floor became wet which is a problem if you wish to re-enter the bathroom. The bar on the ground floor was not well staffed - had to ask at reception a number of times for service, which is an issue when entertaining clients

It’s was not very satisfied, no welcome, no way of talking to people but our actual second room we had booked was nice and clean food was good,finally when went for check out they ask us to pay for country tax which no one mentioned us when we check in that was not nice and we paid country tax for 2days.

« Pretty unhappy with this stay for a Novotel hotel. »

Too many things to mention as to why we were not happy here. The last of which, we just made our train by 2 minutes after booking a taxi the day before & they confirmed the night before. If it wasn’t for the generosity of a courier taking us to the station we would have missed the train for certain.

« Comfortable bed, good bathroom, smells of cigarette smoke. »

Non-smoking room had obviously been used by smokers. Drinking cups were thin plastic - several of them had cracks in them resulting in drinks spilling on our clothes - would expect proper glass in a 4? Star hotel. Bottles left in the corridor were still there 3 days later. Directions to the nearest train were: turn left and left again. Eventually found it when a friendly local showed us - it was a kilometre away!

« Great service from the local staff »

I was in Paris for a 3 night stay. Unfortunately, only the first night was available in Novotel 17. When checking out I requested if any rooms became available. It was not the case, but th ereception made a note of my request and I was called a few hour later that a room was available, so that I could extend my stay another night. I am a very regular guest in Novotel 17. When entering the hotel I was nicely greeted by my name by one of the staff (Kadija I believe was her name). These small guestures make a world of difference !!

Khadi-Dja and Khadija receive my highest compliments for fixing a problem which I created. First I forgot my business visa card and second a got the wrong date for my reservation. The booking process was very stressful. My credit card company denied the payment initially because this was my first international purchase. But the card company immediately asked me to confirm the transaction, which I did and then proceeded to complete the reservation. I received an email from my credit card company letting me know the charge went through. So you can imagine my surprise the next morning, when I received an email stating that my reservation failed. I called Accor and was told to contact the hotel directly. I called the hotel and they told me there was no reservation. 2 Phone calls and 3 Email exchanges later, my reservation was finally confirmed. This was very disconcerting because this was my first time in a country where I do not speak the language and I was nervous about arriving in Paris to discover that I didn't have a hotel room (especially since I was unable to locate my reservation on the Accor website). Luckily, the reservation was good and I was very happy with my stay. The room was clean and comfy, with more space than I expected. We had several issues, unrelated to the hotel, that the staff was happy to help with. On our second to last day there, we had a leak in the bathroom. The staff immediately offered a new room and even moved our luggage. We ordered food at the Novotel Cafe and it was delivered to our room at no additional cost. The hotel is located in a cute residential neighborhood, and there's a pharmacie and a grocery store a couple blocks away. Plus a cute little bakery nearby. There is a bus stop on Porte D'Asnieres, but the closest RER stations are 15 minutes away on foot. Overall I enjoyed my visit and would stay here again, but I would call the reservation line to book.

The room was not clean. Under the bed were bags of crips and drink bottels. On the desk were all kind of strange name tags. So that was also not cleaned. In the bathroom was an old toothbrush. When I complained ontging was done. Very bad.

Honestly I was afraid to find the pictures different from reality because I booked with booking.com for the first time , but it was same pic and same description, lovely people to welcome you , always smiling and ready to help, clean hotel and quite, the breakfast was great fresh and delicious, I had only one problem that the cups was always not clean , but I’m sure will book in this hotel on my next visit to Paris a few months later .

The crew where delightful, the price was very good. We had air-conditioning problem on one of the rooms for a couple of days and a toilette problem on the last day. One of the major disadvantages of this hotel is that it's a bit far from metro and RER which makes it uncomfortable with kids. Other than that, really, a great hotel, very clean, great breakfast.
