Relaxing and comfortable stay as usual with good connection to the main sights. Friendly and helpful staff with support all the time. Breakfast was up to expectation especially the fry your own egg and fresh orange juice.

« Good location, easy to book, clean and tidy room, staff showed little interaction skills »

Very easy to book and IT systems in regards to pre check-in and express check-out very good and nice touch to speed up the process. Still had to fill out a registration card on arrival. Room clean and tidy and met our needs. Breakfast was fine, poor dinner offering and restaurant very quiet and no pasta available on marathon weekend with only a few tables in the restaurant was a disappointment. Some staff members didn't seem interested to be there and no interaction on check-out when we departed.

The hotel was very nice but evening meal was disappointed. Both evenings we are there our orders were wrong and the waiter on both nights did not seem bothered . It was disappointing As when we stayed last year the food was very good.

I was provided a smoking room when I specifically booked a non-smoking room! Reception did not provide any help or even offer another room. No online check-in available. Very few international TV channels.. Very poor experience.

« Company preferred in a standard business type hotel »

It was good. Its a standard business hotel with nothing special and nothing really bad. Rooms are ok standard. The bed is very good, but that there is only 2 channel in the TV with english speaking is very poor! BBC did not even work, and even if it did, it would have been nice with a few more. The breakfast was ok. Not a lot of selection, but again, its a business hotel, so its probably enough for most people. I do no think that people stay at this hotel as tourists. Thats it I believe. The cleaning was ok, but there were a few times it was missed things, like taking out the trash, or taking plates and cups that I had taken from the restaurant. It would have been nice with an umbrella in the room.

The room was nice, relatively big and pleasant. The bed is very good. The breakfast is more than decent and an appreciated moment. The only slight problem was the orientation of the bedroom directly in front of the "Boulevard Peripherique". Even if the soundproofing is relatively good, I presume you cannot get completely rid of the Peripherique sound. In the end, it is not a night-breaker as the noise level remains acceptable. Just if you can, try to book a room which is not on the Peripherique side.

A fine hotel, well located for Clichy. Rooms were good and breakfast acceptable. The only negative is that the gym only has three machines and as the weather was awful, there was quite a queue! Overall would recommend

Booked an executive room, was told I was upgraded as they were full. Was given a room that smelt of cigarettes and it wasn't an upgrade, just normal executive. Otherwise stay was fine

« Basic comfort »

Comfortable, roomy and clean. Warm welcome but always room for improvement. Nice to have minibar stocked everyday, but only one of each teabag? I did request for extra teabags which never came. Bathroom and bed made everyday. Lovely view of the arc de triumph and Eiffel Tower. Decor was basic, Bluetooth speaker only worked once, unable to connect again. Some strange whirring noise coming from above? Maybe a generator or fan system. Didn't disturb sleep. Encouraged to reuse towels by leaving on hanger, but they we're still replaced with new ones?! It was no problem to reuse our towels. Easy access to tourist areas using bus and metro. Overall a decent stay, no big issues.

« A nice surprise when arriving at Novotel 17 »

As a Platinum member of Accor hotels, I receive a room upgrade depoending upon availibility. As all executive room where occopied, there we no room upgrade available. But I was announced when at the reception that the staff did provide some extra's in the room (Bath robe, some free drinks,..) This was very thoughtfull and highly appreciated. Many thanks to the team !! This is really a customer centric approach !!! See you again soon Danny

« Good accomodations but terrible cleaning service »

The booking was easy and I appreciated to have a good price directly through the site and not to have to use any intermediate website. The check-in was quick. The room accommodation was good (I enjoyed the king size double bed) and the overall style was modern. The free bottle of water was well appreciated. The only big disappointment was the cleaning service. We came back late at night and could not really find the "DND" sign to hang the door (it was mixed in the middle of a pile of papers/ads on the desk instead of already hanging on the door), so we just locked the door using the small lever. The room had to be returned by 12 the next day. While we were sill sleeping around 10, "somebody" entered the room, without knocking or anything and just found us in bed. We were surprised as well as a bit angry and began to shout what was going on?! Without a single excuse or word of apology, the cleaning lady mumbled something like if she was annoyed and left the room... I checked later but the lock is quite useless as, even if locked from inside, it will get unlocked by the pass. No need to say we were quite shocked. One hour later, while I was exiting my shower half naked, same scenario!!! I could not really figure out if it was the same cleaning lady but she entered a second time without any knock on the door. As I was half naked this time she felt obliged to apologize for her terrible behaviour. It was around 11 and just to remind the context, the checkout was to be done by 12! We were really upset after this repeated lack of professionalism as well as courtesy and highlighted it during the checkout but it did not seem to trigger any action (maybe they are used to these complaints?)... For a supposed 4 stars hotel, I still find it unacceptable and the ratio price paid / service provided is not proportional at all. Big disappointment for Novotel standing.
