« Terrible experience with arrogant staff »

I stayed in this hotel for 3 days and the experience was super awful. The reception desk is replete with nasty and rude people who do not care about any guest and treat all guests in a very bad taste. They do not know how to speak with guests and are not helpful at all. I called them for some help in my room on first day and they did not turn up till 3rd day. My wife and kid had a horrible time there. In addition, the surroundings are super scary with drugged menaces staying on pavement outside. Even Police advised me not to be in that area outside hotel after 7 pm as it is unsafe. With dirt and obnoxious smell all around, this place stinks and these guys keep coming to beg and harass as soon as you are out of hotel. Each time you go out of the hotel, you need to request the guy at reception to open the main door for you. I mean, in total it was a very depressing experience. I would never return to this place and advise families to stay away from it.

« My experience in Novotel Suites Paris »

Really it was amazing, I booked two rooms for me and my Family. The Room was fine, price also very good, but the breakfast was a little bit poor.

« Not good location , some members of staff not friendly. »

We didn't like the fact that it was a dangerous location with people begging for money, makes you uncomfortable, for that reason we had to get taxis everywhere . Some of the staff members where not friendly, sadly I think it was because we speak in English but if they went to Norway or Germany I don't think they'd be able to speak in their language so they can't expect everybody to speak French. One lady was really nice to us , helped us with ordering our take away and printed our Disneyland tickets. Rooms were very clean and looked nice and spacious but the hallway outside our room looked like there was a lot going on there with all the plastic and tape everywhere. All we could see from our room was flies flying around and untidy area .

« Acceptable hotel »

Hotel was clean with large room. Beds were comfy. We had a problem with a buzzing in our room all night. Area was not great and there were no restaurants in or near the hotel but you could order take away food. Good for one night stay.

« Disappointing - hotel below normal novatel standards in quality of room, breakfast and cleanliness of room (sheets and floor) and parking was expensive. »

The room felt more like an ibis standard than a novotel standard - it felt very basic. The sheets had stains on them and we found clumps of human hair on the bathroom floor so it can't have been cleaned thoroughly. The breakfast was very basic with small paper plates which you couldn't fit more than a slice of bread on. The parking was also €18 for less than 24 hours which seemed expensive and wasn't clear when booking. Overall it was nowhere near the standard we are used to from Novotel and i am a bit concerned about the 2 Novotels we are due to stay in later this week in Le Mans and Rouen.

« Good stay »

Generally the atmosphere was great, the people at the reception made life so much easier. However I had a few issues with the toilet which had stainsvin it and no proper detergents used in its cleaning thus leaving a had smell I always dredded using that area of the room, the liquid soap in the bathtub got finished and I never got a replacement though I made several requests. the one in the toilet area was provided but not attached to its holder when I asked room service to fix it I was told the something was broken which was never fixed. The hallway didn't have a good smell either. but generally the stay was ok but not the standard of a 4 by any means.

« Moderate hotel and bad environment! »

Hotel is not worth 4 stars and is located in a very bad environment. The neighborhood is full with drugs addictive people, you will find them randomly with the needles stuck in their arms. From our room a bag with shoes is disappeared and the hotel claims they did not see anything on the cameras nor could they find any suspicious person. The breakfast is reasonable but served with cardboard plates and cheap quality cutlery, it feels like you are on a camping rather than a 4 star hotel.

« The hotel was great but we didn’t like the area »

The hotel was clean and staff were friendly, however, the area it s situated in is horrible and we weren’t aware of this until we walked to the station with our young daughters. We walked past a man who was smoking some pipe and other men that offered to sell us drugs. This made us very uncomfortable staying on the area. I would suggest the hotel has a free shuttle for guests to and from the station to bypass this area.

« Hotel is okay, but not worth 4 stars, and the neighborhood is horrible!!! »

The hotel is reasonable clean. But absolutely not worth a 4 star marking. I would say 3 stars max. The breakfast is reasonable, but it is disappointing to see plastic cutlery, cardboard plates, it feels like you are on a camping. the coffee machines were constantly broken. When it gets busy at breakfast location they have challenge to keep up with refilling. My children wanted the waffles and they were told these would not be available anymore. The neighborhood is like a zombie world with drug and alcohol addicted people. Hardly 100 meter from the hotel there is a field with about 100-150 people with needles stuck in their arms and people under influence of drugs walking around and talking to themselves. Coming back from the metro I had to walk with my family across this area to reach the hotel, It is a very scary and horrific experience. No one did us any harm but it is not a place you want to be with your family. It is filthy place with used needles, human waste, garbage and smelly too. For me this was a one time experience which I never ever want to experience again. Next time I will certainly stick with the more standard hotels and in the city centre. I did not go for a cheap option. The room was 200 euro per night is not what I call cheap. For less than this price is have been in hotels with a heavenly nice experience. We had two rooms, one room was located above a bar, all night there were drunk people shouting and yelling, we could not sleep. The other room is situated with a highway in front of it (50 meters distance). As long you keep your window closed you don't hear the cars, but constantly rushing police cars and ambulances do disturb you. From one of our rooms a bag with shoes was disappeared. My children are now walking around bare foot. It was a bag with all of our shoes. At this moment the personel is trying to figure out how it disappeared and we are waiting for the results. In all my stays around the globe I never experienced things disappearing from my room. Overall a very dissatisfying experience. Never again!!!

« A Novotel budget hotel in Paris suburb »

The hotel is situated in north of Paris, pretty long from the central Paris. The location is not recommended for those who plan to stay a longer time and are going to visit the Paris attractions. By Metro, in best case you should count on 45 minutes to get to the inner circle of the Paris. Breakfast was a total disappointment, very limited and in a very noisy and unstructured environment. Basically, many guests chased the foods to collect them in their bags of bring them to their rooms while others sitting in the breakfast area had hard to find things to eat. It was just two people who had the responsibility to take care of the breakfast of whom none could talk english. The suit had a good space, but too much of the interior been made of plastic. The neighbourhood was noisy due to closeness to the motorway lacking restaurants and relaxed places for dining. We had very hard to get to sleep due to a noisy environment, probably caused by a bar in the neighbouring hotel.

« Great family hotel- poor location »

Booked this via Accor web-site on a non-refundable basis without checking the feedback via trip-advisor. Can't fault the hotel. Good family room.Private secured garage- 18 euros for 24hrs However access to the nearby metro problematic. One route passes by a make-shift illegal migrant camp, the other by a waste -recycling site and both under the concrete carriages way of the Bvde peripherique. For a family with young children, you can not help but feel uneasy though there is a constant police presence.25 mins to central Paris.During July/August, doesn't get dark until almost 10pm and we were normally back before 9pm so never had to make it back to the hotel by night It's cheap and it's understandably why.

« Great stay »

The mattress was absolutely the best. Just what you need after a long day of sightseeing. A little busy and small lobby but the superior room was spacious enough for a family of 4. Secure underground car park. The only negative experience was the surrounding full of refugees approaching to beg. The hotel will call you taxi so no need to wait on the street to stop one. Room stocked well with nespresso coffee machine and other instant hot drinks and plenty of towels. Staff are pleasant and breakfast service was no fuss although could have a better selection of hot food. Myself & my family was very pleased with our stay in this hotel and will recommend.
