It is definitely a budget place with limited facilities. The sink setup was a bit weird. The sink is outside of the toilet. The hotel is under renovation and it is a bit noisy. There is no hairdryer in the room. You have to ask for it from reception. The only positive comment about it is the car parking. If you have a car it is really convenient. Otherwise I would prefer more central hotels.

Well situated hotel in pleasant residential area. Rooms small but functional and clean. Breakfast was OK but so much plastic waste. Why do you need to have pre-packed cheese in plastic? Also there were a lack of hair dryers and the one I was supplied with started to smoke. Nice public areas to relax. No bar.

Our experience was good, we enjoyed to stay in this hotel, I would liked that the bathroom and shower be joined and with a door separated from the room, because,the hot air of the shower passed easily to the room, we needed to open the window to avoid a humidity problem.

We did not sleep well even 1 day. It was hot, there was no AC so we had to keep the window open. When window is open there is too much traffic noise and drunk people shouting in the back alley. Not happy with overall experience

False advertisement

The website of this branch advertise it has A/C and that is not true. The room do not have A/C. So basically this branch mislead people with this false advertisement. I was there during the summer and the temperature inside the room at night was unbearable and keep you of having a good rest. I have been in Ibis Singapore, Madrid, Cartagena and Bogota and all these locations have A/C. Accor Hotels should take action on this matter and make sure that this branch stop damaging the good reputation that Ibis has created with their false advertisement posted in their website.

The wall was dirty in the toilet, mentioned it & was cleaned the next day. Sad to see plastic cups still being used. Problems also with Card not working in lock........

As above except for the rude and incompetent person at the checkout desk, when I checked out.I have never encountered such a rude and incompetent person before in your hotel, where I have stayed many times and the people and staff are always friendly and helpful.

This is my second stay at the Ibis Budget La Villette. The reception staff is outstanding. Breakfast is fine. Rooms are spartan, typical Ibis Budget, no frills, but a big shower, great hot water and water pressure. Comfortable bed. No complaints. Work to install individual in-room climate control is under way and has been since the spring. In the meantime, there's no A/C, for example. But when it's done, it will make a huge improvement.

I have stayed in this budget hotel a number of times and am quite happy with it. The rooms are always clean and spacious for a Paris hotel room. The breakfast was good as well. You get what you pay for.

The hotel is good value for money. Positives are: - Price is affordable - Breakfast is good and has a nice range - Location is good - insider Paris. Areas for improvement: - Needs proper AC. Rooms are very humid during summer and we cannot stay without fans. - Parking wasnt available. There should be a system to reserve parking while booking. We checked in a 4PM and by that time all parking was occupied. People who book earlier should have right to parking, not people who check-in first. - The phone number listed on the website is not working. Tried many times to call them directly but wasnt successful. Even when i contacted the call center, they too couldnt reach the hotel to check on some questions. The contact details should be clearly mentioned and up-to-date. - No forks are provided in breakfast. Even the plastic trays given instead of plates are old and have scratches, chips and dont appear clean. Prefer good cutlery for breakfast.

The minimum expected was here. Everything clean and tidy. Shower seemed recently renewed. But even on the 6th floor I was annoyed by the noises from the streets.

Everything was fine. Except the air conditioning. That night was extremely boiling weather. Fortunately, AC was working. But at night it was blowing too much, even the open window did not help to heat the room. So I had to sleep wearing my night gown, top and jacket, covered with the blanket.

Everything was good as per the price. Only disappointment was no separate air conditioning in rooms. So we were unable to adjust temperature and automatic temperature wasn’t good enough. We were still feeling hot in room. Also staff should be more welcoming and helpful. It makes lot of difference when you are in different country and need help. In other coutries we had better experience than here.
