« Unexpectedly Pleasant »

We were forced to book into the Novotel Suite due to us being kicked out of Motel One due to a misunderstanding with booking dates. In South Africa accommodation is booked per night. We asked to be booked in from the 10 - 12 which would be three nights. When we got back to the Motel on the 12th after our conference, they had packed our bags and blocked access to our rooms without informing us. We urgently had to find alternative accommodation and the first place we could go to was Novotel. Novotels rooms were larger than expected with everything required to ensure a pleasant stay. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

« Always a great place to stay »

Very good. Only criticism is that i get a drink voucher, then I try and use it for a Wheat Beer and I am told by the barman that this is only for a coke / water etc. So better off to either not give them out when you book in or state that there are restrictions with them. Its only a small thing but was unnecessary.

Problems with check-in at hotel despite prior online check-in (staff unable to find reservation in database + condescending), problems with breakfast (front desk unfriendly, long discussion). The room itself was good and with a nice view. Overall we will not be coming back.

Nice big room with loads of desk space, microwave and fridge. Very quiet up on the 17th floor with extensive views out of the many windows. Only drawback would be the quality of the towels, they were looking a bit worn, but at least there were plenty of them.

We enjoyed the stay at Novotel Suites hotel, close to Metro - 50 Yards. Room was a good size with three beds and plenty of space in the room. The front desk recommended we get a daily ticket for 12 Euros that really helped for us to travel and visit all sites. We will recommend the hotel.

« Older hotel but close to U-bahn »

The hotel was very close to U-bahn and easy to come to by car. The cleaning of the hotel room was good and the cleaning lady very nice. We rented a stroller for free. That was a very good service. Unforunately the staff in the reception was not very serviceminded. The breakfast buffet did not have a good selection compared to other Novotel Hotel we stayed in, in Hamburg. It ran out a lot and had a poor selection on the third day we stayed there. We would use another Novotel Hotel the next time we come to Hamburg.

« Nice people and convenient place »

Nice welcome and people with smile that make feel well. Rooms are quite large with nice view and separated toilet is good. Nevertheless larger cupboard to hang closes may be helpful and plastic bathroom is a bit surprising but ok at the end. Breakfast choice is a bit limited but ok

« We were very much satisfied during your stay at the hotel »

We got a room on floor 8, had a good view and many windows. The room was very clean, large and convenient during our extended stay. It was good to have coffee and tea all the time, an electric kettle as well as a fridge and a microwave. The employees at the reception desk were friendly and helpful. During our next trip to Hamburg we will definitely stay at the Novotel Suites Hotel.

I stayed for 3 nights in room 811 with my team. We agreed payment terms 'invoice to company' and we presented confirmation letter to the reception staff. They did not want to listen and for some of us they charged credit card and for others - eg myself they applied invoice method. It is not a problem with a credit card for us but if I agree something and communicate it also to my employees I would like to stick to it. But the worst was check out. I checked out at 6:20 and asked if I pay now? Answer - no invoice will br sent to your company. ok My colleague checked out after I left and he was asked for credit card. He asked why if obe hour ago you applied invoice to the other colleague (myself). Answer "this guest did not check out and did not pay for the room" that was too much. I called the reception and had really bad talk to the reception. The lady advised me that I could call anybody that I want to complain - she doesn't care. « The reinforcement of disappointment »

My reports on Trip Advisor are extremely detailed, especially the ones regarding this stay finished yesterday and last year's, and show how the hotel does not commit with improvement in any way, for all is the very same in last six years I have been staying with you! I feel tricked by the promise of novelties for this year and felt my money was, again, thrown away at this fooling Novotel Suites unit! Many other guests share the same opinion as mine on Trip Advisor and have been made it clear also for a number of years, with no consideration from the management whatsoever in implementing changes/improvements! Also as a Le Club Platinum member, I counted on much better treatment and conditions of the room offered. You must rebrand the hotel into Ibis and charge adequately or promote improvements urgently, or else the amount of returning guests shall get fewer and fewer!
