« Facing the fact that some Novotel employees loosing temper when talking to guests and becoming not polite... »

You provide me a mixture of view and experience staying with you. Rooms are OK and it has been changed after I mentioned being noise at night because of delivering of the bins. For “not to clean the room” voucher system is not clear for everybody in the hotel among your employees. It is not automated I should discuss first at the reception desk, ask for the voucher and go to the bar to have one soft drink by presenting the voucher, which was collected before from my door??? Calling reception desk from my room was a bad idea as I could not finish my sentences as the conversation was finished cut in half by your employee - maybe she became busy.... Calling a taxi: I was not in informed that the taxi is waiting for from the back side of the hotel not from Lübecker strasse. Poor minibar and bathroom equipment, no gym. Restaurant was quick and food was nice however you destroyed the good impression by starting to clear the tables while me and another family had not finished the dinner. One of your Waiter is asking and speaking too much which is becoming uncomfortable. Booking was not too easy as nobody answered to my emails. I hope it helps.

Great amenities, friendly staff, and good air con (very necessary in 34 degree heat!). All a good as we have come to expect from a Novotel. Great location too, very convenient for the U Bahn.

A bit disappointed as we have stayed earlier on other Novotel hotels. This four star hotel did not come up to other Novotel hotels with four stars. We traveled as a family of three persons and the room was a little bit tiny for 3 persons. The selection for breakfast was also limited.

Excellent hotel with a nice location close to the center of the City. Great breakfast buffet. Only negative thing to say, is the parking fee on 18€ per night, and then we had to empty the while car, due to Warming about people breaking in to the cars. So not sure what we actually paid for here!

Friendly staff, clean rooms and eco-friendly concept. We didn’t avail of the restaurant as we were out the whole day taking look walks along the Alster Lake, Train station nearby is under construction but the next one is about 5mins away which is very convenient especially for the little feet that tags along.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and eco-friendly hotel. Didn’t avail of the breakfast as we were always out very early taking long walks to the Alster Lake. The nearest train stop was under renovation but the next one is about 5minutes walk which was still convenient especially for the little feet that tags along.

Wonderful trip and stay in Novotel Alster Hamburg; personnel were extremely friendly; breakfast was delicious and room was comfortable! However check-in receptionist was little disappointing us when she told us the hotel we booked was another Novotel in Hamburg city, surprised that she didn’t recognize where she works. The breakfast team, for example Aline and her colleagues, was wonderful and recognized us as loyal guests, this made us feel really welcomed, and decided to come back again!

Small room for a family. No mirror other than in the bathroom. Door opened outwards from the bathroom onto the bed, no space to get passed. Coffee and tea not replaced, had to ask for milk on 2 occasions. Breakfast good, and relaxed friendly reception area.
