« Awesome hotel with great location »

I was in Seoul for a short business trip. + Service = Excellent. Front desk was very professional and accomodating. + Location = Restaurants and commercial centers are a few minutes walk away. + Access = Accessible via Limousine Bus 6703 (from Incheon), near the Subway (Samseong) and taxi. + Room = Clean, quiet and with strong Wifi. The location is great. Restaurants and shopping malls are a few minutes walk away. Hotel is also accessible

It was a comfortable and nice hotel as I expected. Actually the breakfast was better than any other ibis hotels. Just I felt a bit far away from the subway station.

« Convenient location with excellent service »

We chose your hotel due to it's proximity to the Samsung Medical Center, and had recommendations from friends who had stayed with you previously. Rooms were typical Ibis, simply furnished and small, but comfortable and clean. Service at the front desk and restaurants were excellent, with staff speaking perfect English. We needed assistance with taxi to the SMC, which was quickly and easily arranged. We also needed to change the length of our stay, which the front desk staff arranged. Restaurants had an ok selection of western and Korean dishes, though I wish the breakfast selection varied more from day to day, especially when staying one week or longer. Also wish there was more selection in fruits & vegetables at breakfast, though given that it's included in the room charge, I can't complain too much.

« Comfortable Stay »

Was there with my wife for a conference at COEX with the organizers arranging the accommodation at the Ibis Gangnam. Upon check in,we were surprised by the reception officer Jimmy who gave us a bag of goodies after he realized from my passport it was my birthday. What a surprise and an impromptu gift. It was a good start to a pleasant stay at the Ibis.

« Trouble related to booking »

Even though my collegue has booked a smoking room and received confirmation letter accordingly from the hotel, smoking room was not arranged for him for the first night(second night he could get smoking room). The front staff told that is no help and just only one night must not be serious problem. We were surprised to hear this, this shows he ignored about the feeling of the guest, and it must be the opinion from the non-smoker. At the end after one hour negotiation at the front, we finally got compromised idea that he got the room closed to the garden(at 15F) to have smoke there. Actually this is the second time for him that he missed smoking room although making a perfect booking. I would like you to improve your booking sysytem not to make this kind of trouble again and the training of the hotel operators to have better hospitality.

« Two nights in Gangnam »

My stay was very nice. The Ibis Styles Ambassador lived up to my expectations of Accor Hotels. I stayed for two nights to meet with customers in Korea. The central location was nice and very close to the city air terminal which has bus service to the Incheon airport. The room was clean and breakfast buffet was very nice. There are lots of coffee shops, restaurants and convenience stores near the hotel. Staff was very courteous and professional.
