Hotel is located outside city center, but it's very close to get there if you have a car. Room was a good size for a couple, staff helpful and breakfast was good.

We stayed here during our visit to Florence. We were a little worried at first as it is very far from the center and all the attractions. The front desk staff was very helpful with bus directions. They were also helpful with directions to a place to wash our clothes. Our welcome drink was the best here!

« Airport Hotel but no airport shuttle »

No dinner because there was a huge group of tourists.. What do I have to do with that?? No airport shuttle, nor in the IBIS nor in the nearby Novotel... That doesn't make sense at an airport hotel... Better stay in Florence and take a taxi next time

« Airport Hotel but no shuttle bus »

When arrived, at around 8.30 PM was informed that it wasn't possible to have dinner at the Hotel, due to a big group of french tourist that were arriving.. What do we, independent travellers, have to do with that??? No bus shuttle to the airport

Air conditioning did not work, we tried to call the staff but I guess due to our late check in no one was there at the desk. We had to open our room windows and sleep the entire night. The hotel has yet to remove the charges on the credit card even after 3 days.

« Not an "Airport" hotel... »

First of all - let me be clear that the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. The room itself was adequate. Unfortunately, I expected an "Airport" hotel to manage some sort of transportation to/from the airport - a shuttle of some sort. We had to pay taxi fees instead. A shuttle of some sort would benefit your customers and raise your rating.

« Not an Airport Hotel! »

First of all - very friendly and helpful staff. The room was decent, if a bit too hot for us northern types. My gripe is with transportation to/from the Hotel - we were forced to take a taxi (expensive in Florence if you haven't noticed). Airport hotels should have some sort of shuttle arrangement.

Bad Restaurant. Food was bad. The breakfast buffet in the morning almost empty. After intervention, after a long time some bread and croisants were brought. Staff in restaurant very unfriendly. Worst IBIS experience ever.

« Rude barman (the guy with a beard and tattoos), charged extra for breakfast even though it was included in room charge »

No amenities such as tea, coffee, kettle in room. Thin towels. We were charged extra for breakfast even though we booked the room to have breakfast included - and it was a terrible breakfast with no hot food at all. The barman was extremely rude. We checked out early and went next door to the Novotel.

I booked two days stay in the first day of the hotel is very good that the next night I came back to find the bathroom towels inside these items are not put inside to me. Later I went to the receptionist downstairs to consult him that may be cleaning workers did not do well I explained to him very speechless anyway, H. gave me a bath towel even. Hope that these services they can improve efficiency do not make mistakes

The room was mostly clean, but the hairdryer is absolutely to be changed. It takes too long and it does not have a strong air current. More electrical plugs in the room would be nice, also USB ones. The breakfast menu I would change it a little bit day by day A small safe box could be useful as well

I'm sorry for the hairdryer problem occurred in your room and for your impression about the plugs: we know the importance of the electricity plugs for our guests and 3 years ago we improved our standard in the room, adding 1 extra plug near the bed to permit the guest to recharge his phone (the one next to the bed is a special one added and not from Ibis Standard in Italy). I'm sorry if they were not enough for you and please accept our apologies for that. Safety boxes (small or big) are always available free of charge at our Reception. We needed a place to stay between our flight that arrived from Berlin at 2300, and our flight that left for the US at 0640. Although there was loud music coming from the hotel club upon check-in, we couldn't hear it at all in our room. The woman at the front desk was cheerful & arranged a taxi to be there for us at 0525. The room was sufficient for what we needed, not fancy at all. The beds were a bit stiff, but overall, our main priority was getting to and from the airport without problems, and that happened, so we were satisfied with our stay.

« Decent breakfast, quite far from airport »

Stayed one night. Receptionist very pleasant and kind as we had been diverted from FLR to land in Bologna due to weather so arrived at hotel at 3am. Rooms are standard Ibis. Breakfast very good standard. But for an airport hotel, it is quite far from the airport so bear that in mind if booking - taxi is needed.
