We stayed in a renovated room which was nice, the location was great and the staff were lovely. Although I understand the room renovations could not be helped, our room was opposite so it was quite noisy. The room was nice however there were a few impracticalities, i.e. no table on balcony, no hooks in bathroom. The loo roll holder in the bathroom was not fixed to the wall properly which was very heavy and fell on my foot. The breakfast was not up to much either. Our key card stopped working twice during our stay which was inconvenient but the friendly staff were very helpful with resolving the situation.

The suite room needs renovation, the bathroom had dirty corners and the fittings were very old. It’s a good hotel but can be a lot better if it’s renovated

Overall an enjoyable stay, location of hotel is excellent,my only criticism is about the pool area ie lack of sunbeds and mattresses and the pool staff not very attentive where as the staff in all other areas were excellent

Hotel clean, new face lift and all employee very kind. Hope the breakfast can cater for more vegetarian products. Fortunately there was a nice person who helped us for vegetarian food. For the 3 nights we stay , every morning she make sure we get nice vegetarian food. It was very nice and caring of her. Her name is Werna (if not mistaken)

I booked my holiday via AccorHotels website, in the website, it shows that my room was equipped with Bathtub, but upon checking up my room, there's no sighting of any bathtub. I felt cheated. But then, i can give 5 stars to their crew members for showing warm and welcoming services. And thank you to reservation officer Mira, for helping me with my request to decor my room for my partner's birthday, at NO costs!! I felt lucky and i'm thankful to Mira again. Will definitely be checking in this hotel again for my next Bali vacation.

Right from the start I was impressed with the Mercure Kuta. The entire staff are excellent and were always helpful. They always gave exceptional service. My room was awesome with ocean views and completely renovated with great furnishings. The infinity pool and rooftop area was very relaxing and well planned out. The bar & restaurant were exceptional offering quality food & service. I have no hesitation in recommending the Mercure Kuta Hotel.

Geared towards mass tourism. Staff below level English. Service close to non existent. Could not come up with one reason why to ever stay there again.For sure as a packaged holiday hotel it would do, but not even worth half the money. Better change the name to Ibis so the expectations are lower.
