« Perfect overnight stay »

This Ibis hotel met all our requirements. We travel with a small dog which many hotels in Spain refuse to accept. Ibis hotels meet our requirements. The staff are always pleasant and only once in our many stays in Ibis hotels has the cleanliness been less than perfect. We have stayed in the Granada Ibis a few times and would have no hesitation in staying there again.

« Pre-Christmas Visit to Granada »

The hotel was easy to find after leaving the A44 Autovia. The reception staff were very welcoming and told us about the hotel facilities and gave us a Tourist Map of Granada in English. We were told where to catch a bus into the City and we were given approximate prices for taxis. Our room was nice and comfortable and located close to the lift. It was clean and tidy and the WiFi signal was good and strong. Granada itself is a very attractive city and the Christmas lights were second to none that I have seen anywhere. Each main thoroughfare had it's own unique design and even the side alleys and walkways were decorated. Several of the squares had illuminated fountains and trees and some had Christmas Trees. The highlight for us was our visit to the Alhambra which we've wanted to experience for decades and it didn't disappoint. The plaster and ceramic decorations are breathtaking as are the gardens and pools. It's difficult to believe that they are several centuries old. The taxi fare from the hotel to the cathedral was 7€ and the return journey was 5€ which is very reasonable.

Some hotels have TVs where the dubbing into Spanish can be switched off in English-speaking shows. For guests who do not speak Spanish this would be a big advantage at Ibis hotels. Other than that I have no complaints.

« excelent relation cost x benefits »

Very Nice! Good attendance with very symphatic employees... breakfast and lunch at the hands! Parking easy although it was not necessary cause in fronte of the hotel is also easy to park. Location not so far from the principal sites to visit. So everything was ok and suggest a very interesting cost x benefits.

« A friendly cosy hotel! »

All the staff are very friendly and helpful, just like the rest of the people we met in Granada. Especially Fran, he worked hard at the breakfast service and reception, all at same time, and always smiled and was patient when he helped the guests. Sincerely wish his young life a bright future! The breakfast is good, the room is clean, the price is reasonable. It’s convenient and cheap for parking. Everything is nearly perfect.

« Usual very good bed, helpful service, disappointing breakfast. »

The usual modern Ibis experience, very good bed, quiet room, helpful staff. The only thing missing here though, was a good breakfast, with only a few tired croissants left by 1015. Some Ibis hotels do breakfast brilliantly, but this one was sad and not good value. next time (and we will come again) we will have our desayuno at the very good cafe next door.

« A great place to stop for. A short break in this beautiful Spanish city. »

The hotel is a short distance from the main highway, accessible to the city centre and surrounded by every facility. It wasn't the easiest to find from the road but we were pleased that there was secure parking four our motorcycle not sure if it is fair to charge the same as a car considering the space used but realise that Ibis do the elsewhere.

« Outstanding Ibis Hotel. »

We received a very friendly, warm welcome with drink vouchers on arrival to be used at any time during our stay. All the reception and bar staff were very obliging, happy people. Our room was excellent as was the outside courtyard facilities.

« Comfortable room with everything in the right place »

Off street parking was easy. A short taxi ride into town. The room and bed comfy. Good air-conditioning. Bathroom very clean. We had breakfast in the bar next door as we don't eat big breakfast. It was hot so wished the pool was open.

Good experience overall, very nice breakfasts (esp. in comparison to other ibis hotels I've been to). Staff very helpful but sometimes struggling to communicate in English. I was able to print my boarding card at the hotel, which was very helpful. The Carrefour superstore nearby is very convenient. A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs around 30 euros.

Quite a reasonable place to stay especially if coming by car - close enough to the centre but also easy to park. Breakfast was OK but dinner choice limited - better range at the Nevada shopping centre nearby.
