Very friendly and helpful staff. Great room and a simple but good breakfast. Good and safe parking facilities. Easy to find. Great for a single or two nights, great area. No noise at night. which makes it easy to sleep.

We used this Hotel many times, firstly of the shuttle and the restaurant. This time we learned - no shuttle anymore, the restaurant minimised and it seems the whole hotel was cost reduced. Just the prices stayed!! We were always happy to stay but we will now look for another place to stay for our future before-after stays.

Our Restaurant is still a full version restaurant as usual, but in January we have a smaller menucard as usual, because of less guests and a high illness in our kitchen. Sorry for the impression, that we did not offer you the big menu card. Concerning the shuttle, you should know, that the short way was not rentabel enough for the shuttle company. Concerning the very good busconnectivity, we offer you a good alternative. Staff very friendly and helpful, resturant dinner was not hot (fries), room clean and functional, all the bedroom doors slam shut and causes noise and vibration in the bedrrooms and disturbs sleep in the evening and mornings if people are late to bed or up early.

« Love the location and staff but really disappointed you stopped the shuttle service. »

Overall, everything was nice and all employees were great. I was surprised and disappointed by the shuttle not there. I was at airport and had no idea it wasn't running any longer. Couldn't get anyone at hotel t answer after 4 attempts but the shuttle for Leonardo Hotel informed me you no longer offered it. Spoke with manager at IBIS and had a good conversation, but buses are not that convenient to use. I would rather they have a small charge of like $2 to $3 euro per person to take shuttle to airport. I ended up spending $16 euro to get a ride back to the airport(which I think is a ripoff to go about 2 Kilometers) Charging a small fee to cover the cost of the shuttle seems like a much better idea. I know speaking to many guests during my stay everyone was stating the same opinions. Getting a cab from the airport is not easy as you know, so having to be the first thing to deal with as you get off the plane upon arrival is not great. I'm hoping management and the ownership will talk about bringing it back for a small fee to the guests for using it.

My room was double booked. When i was going to sleep guy entered my room, with his card. Kind of stressful experience. On the day when i was leaving, room service went in to my room when i was going to take a shower.

Room fine but removal of shuttle bus from the airport without any notification is a really negative move. Walking a mile in a blizzard is no fun. I will look elsewhere now for my regular Hamburg trips

I have stayed at the IBIS Hamburg Airport on a number of occasions for its value and location. Unfortunately the removal of the shuttle bus service will have an effect on my decisions whether to stay there in the future. Last Thursday I had to pull a case through the snow as taxis will not travel the short distance to the hotel.

Friendly personnel, fast check in and out. Option to check-in via internet in advance is very good. Fresh fruit at breakfast. They use to have it also near reception desk - it was missing during last stay. Pity too there is no means to make yourself a cup of tea or coffee in the room. Overall impression: pleasant stay!

Several staff were busy chatting in back room while one working hard sorting another customer. They also forgot to give access code for high speed internet service, which I paid for. Didn't bother going back to the reception not to bother them having a good time... not happy at all.

« Quiet and resting night in a dog-friendly hotel »

The night stay was agreeable, the room was very quiet, clean, and the bed big and comfortable. The "bathroom cabine" was sufficient for this short stay. However the hotel should really state cleary on its webpage that no free shuttle bus is available from/to the airport, and state where to take the city busses at the airport (only 2 stations, but not feasible by feet with a lot of luggage).

We found parking space - the hotel is ok - room overheated and impossible to cool it down - only opening of window helped a little - but then t was noise of the street which disturbed. unfortunately you dont offer shuttle bus to the airport since 1.1.2018 this is toi bad
