Pleasant stay at Ibis Hamburg. Within 10-15 mins walking distance to Airport. Bus stop nearby connecting to Hamburg Underground Train Service. Hotel bright and welcoming. Room furnished simply but clean and comfortable. Bathroom small but functional. Good shower. Good sized TV. Views not great but not an issue. Breakfast good quality. Limited choice of hot food, could maybe be improved. Staff all friendly and helpful.

Für die entstandenen Unannehmlichkeiten bitten wir Sie vielmals um Entschuldigung. Tatsächlich haben wir als 2 Sterne Superior Haus keine Möglichkeiten der Kaffee- oder Teezubereitung auf den Zimmern, allerdings haben Sie jederzeit die Möglichkeit sich an der Bar etwas zubereiten zu lassen und mit aufs Zimmer zu nehmen. During check-in I was told that the airport shuttle service was no longer available; taxi fare 9.50 Euro. Had to go downstairs set up a wake up call, Did not get a wake up call in the morning. Although the time for call and taxi was "hand written" on a piece of paper the night before. (what happened to automated wake up service?) Room was clean as always...

We are so sorry that your wake up call failed, the system did not work properly and it looks like we did not check the calls in time. It is correct, that we do not offer a shuttle service anymore. There is also a bus stop nearby the hotel though with two buslines (39 and 292) going frequently to the airport and back to the hotel. This might be an alternative to the taxi. the Hotel has super friendly staff.absolutely no noise from the airport or street is heard in the hotel, but the noise from the room around is incredible i could here someones phone vibrate in another room. the room to room isolation i worthless.the restaurant is expensive for what you get and the breakfast is quit limited.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry, that you had the issue staying in a noisy room. We do offer our regular breakfast buffet from 6.30 to 10 on weekday and to 11 on weekends. Before and after that we have an early bird breakfast and one for the ones getting up late. This is a smaller breakfast which does not have the offer as the buffet. Maybe you just had the chance to choose from the smaller one? The prices in the restaurant seem to be fair to us in comparison to the standards in the city of Hamburg.
