« Disappointed. Left tired in the morning. »

The room was tired with scruffy walls. It was way too hot and the so-called A/C was completely ineffective. As our room was on the ground floor, we couldn't open the window. After a hot night of little sleep we left for our 8 hour drive feeling very tired. The pillows were little more than small balls of cotton wool.

We will renovate the hotel in december 2018 and january 2019, so rooms will be painted as you remark in your comments . Concerning the air conditioning , you are right , 2 days before your visit we had a very big storm in Valencia and temperature was down so the guests in these dates ask us to change the air conditioning into heating because it was cold , and understand that it is not possible to change every day from heating to air conditioning , please accept our apologize. It was not the best. Staff is kind and helpful but you can not avoid that overall condition was bad. At first night we arrived to hotel and they put us in the room 7 which has had terrible water damage. Cieling had a large brown mark and floor was wet. It was not maintained at all. Room smelled bad and breathing was difficult. I personally believe our health was put at the risk. We arrived at 2 AM and were too tired to change room. In the morning they changed our room. The room 127 was better, but all the walls were dirty and I felt this Ibis Hotel was more like motel and not the hotel. Mainly decently maintained but sink did not work well. This was definitely under all standards of accorhotels. I usually can trust that Accorhotels and Ibis offer clean and comfy room and that is the reason I have used their services often. I do not recommend this particular hotel.

Modern and clean hotel Staff was helpfull. Room is confotable and clean. Hotel offer also free safe parking. Brakfast was reasonable and good.

The hotel is located in a business area. No POI's nearby unless large DIY shops are of interest to you. Apart from that the hotel itself is what you can expect from Ibis. A clean hotel, clean rooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast is a good choice and worth the money.

Check-in ok, breakfast was good choice. The usual Ibis room where you can sleep well.Shower good. TV channel choice is ok. At least 3 English speaking news channels, which is unusual in Spain. Location near several (fast-food) restaurants.

A good experience, comfortable room, free parking and WiFi. Reception told us where to get bus into the city. Shopping centre close by. Only thing that annoyed us was the bed. When sitting up reading or watching tv in bed, it kept slipping forward leaving a gap from the wall. Most uncomfortable. Surely there is some way of fixing it.

the hotel room floor still is covered with carpet which are not healthy at all . The breakfast food table setting was very unorganized and was not easy to take the foods and see where you can find things compare to all the other ibis hotel which I love to stay and are excellent this was a bit less attractive. But they were so so friendly ,polite people the hotel was very clean .my suggestion is changing the rooms floor in to laminate or wood instead old carpets.

Always a very nice experience, lovely staff and very helpful. One remark I like to make: you wouldn't accept our icepacks, they needed to go into the freezer to keep the food cool for our dog, especially in summer. So we had to throw away her food because it went of in the heat. Thank you.

Hot and uncomfortable. This was supposed to be my early 50th birthday present from my husband. We saved for this for very long and your standard reply yo give you a chance to make it better next time won't eork as we will never be able to visit Spain again. What happened to ylur 15 minute problem solution or "it is on you"? No compensation, other room or refund was offered. Thereforr6I am lead to believe it is a lie.

Room was basic, but sufficient for our purposes. The receptionist was learning so struggled a bit taking payment from us and sorting our room, however was very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was good.

« Our worst experience in an Ibis hotel »

We usually book in Ibis for short stays because their Sweet Bed is almost always a guarantee that you will at least get a good night sleep, but for the first time this has not been the case. The first room we were assigned stunk, someone had been smoking. They changed us to a new room and the bathroom also stank like someone had recently urinated and had not been cleaned. It was pretty obvious it had not been properly cleaned in a while since the folding chair for handicap in the shower had long overdue mold. The Alfafar Ibis definitely needs a full refurbishment. As soon as you walk into the lobby it simply stinks. As a Le Club AccorHotels member I was very surprise to find that this particular facilities are in such bad shape.
