I do not expect an English speaking breakfast bar guy, to refuse to speak English. Clearly I know no Spanish, I chose a multinational hotel to stay in for that reason. I agree I am an ignorant brit for not speaking Spanish, just like my indian wife who doesn't speak Spanish is ignorant too. I choose to spend my money in the way that pleases me, there is no politics or prejudice when I spend my money, but being rude by deliberately not speaking a language when clearly you understand it is just obnoxious. In the last 10 years, I have lived in the USA, china, and India. I have travelled extensively around the world, I am never rude unless someone chooses to be rude to me. I did not realise that your staff member could speak English until the following day he spoke perfect English to another gentlemen. At this time I realised, and even said to him, oh you speak Spanish... he looked and smiled. On this basis I find it hard to believe I will stay in this hotel again. Knowing I will be going to Barcelona for holiday soon, i'd rather just stay with friends and not waste my money on poor service. Unfortunately any positive feeling I had was ruined by the rudeness of just 1 employee.

So first of all just 2 plugs near the single bed. We had a triple room. 2 star hotel an no toilet brush ? You need to improve the breakfast. Put eggs sausages bacon tomatoes cucumber or a different type of hot food.

Great hotel and manageable distance from the city. Staff were very helpful. Only thing the hotel didn't have is room coffee/tea which we expect as standard. Room was very large and breakfast and dinner options were adequate. Very friendly staff

As stated generally satisfied, good rooms, friendly staff but somewhat annoying that despite spending time on online check-in still had to present not only member card but also passport and credit card and room key was NOT ready on arrival

Good service. But problems with the lift keeping breaking. Plug sockets hanging of the walls in the corridor were not reassuring. Bulb had gone in bathroom but we never reported this.

i am an accor member and regularly stay in ibis/mercure hotels. the stay was ok. i did an online checkin, to make the checkin faster, but the reception office still took all my details and took longer for checkin. when we arrived in the room, the remote control of the room was not working, and we saw the cleaner and she gave us a new remote control. afterwards we found out that the remote is not working, so we went down the reception and they gave us another remote control. then we went back to the room and the remote control was still not working. at this point, it was too much effort being given 3 remote controls that are not working. otherwise, the rooms are both good as to be expected from ibis.

The hotel is spotless and everything you expect for the price that you pay. The staff were really friendly and advised us on the best transport to get to Barcelona centre. Can not comment on the bar and restaurant as we did not use. The only disappointment in the room was that we could not find a English speaking channel. As for the local area it wasn't a far walk to the train station would defiantly recommend for a cheaper price.

Great hotel and great staff. Only slight disappointment was no food being served at the bar on a Saturday evening but the staff were able to recommend restaurants nearby. This was our second visit to the hotel and won’t be our last.

Excellent Staying was in Ibis Ripollet. Great location and near to center. public/private parkings are available. the staff were friendly and helpful, they explained to me at check in how to go around and visit the tourism locations.

We were stopping over in Barcelona on a long journey and arrived well after 9pm . The check in was easy and the bar open where we and our dog Coby were made really welcome. Simple meals were ordered pizza and chicken with beer and wine followed by a good nights sleep in the large room with two beds. Breakfast was good quality and value setting us up for the final leg south of our trip
