I appreciate that smoking in rooms is about bad custmer behaviour rather than any fault of the hotel but the room we were given was not "no smoking" somebody had been smoking in it - rather spoiled our stay

« Simple, clean and convenient place to stay »

Friendly staff, easy check in and check out. However on this stay, other guests seemed noisy and lacked consideration that this is a hotel. The restaurant was a disappointment. Clearly not a popular choice as there were only two other tables occupied. The food was microwaved and from a ready meal.......overly salty and lacked any presentation. They need a new coffee machine for breakfast: slow, bitter and literally broken parts. The OJ was tetra pack...........come on, this is Spain and oranges are in season. I've eaten in other IBIS restaurants that have a higher standard than Murcia! Hotel is ok for a clean bed and a shower............find somewhere else to eat! It is time for the IBIS chain to update their TVs to at least 32" and now that most of us have interest TVs with a wide choice, certainly IBIS could have more especially English TV with only business channels!!!!!
