Had a lot of noise during the night... And to be honest the restaurants meals/ food was disappointing. Very kind staff though. :-)

« Convenient location and no nonsense »

First room smelled of sewage so I was immediately given another one. Second room (620) was nice. I was a bit disappointed by the choice of television channels, only some domestic options were available.

« Nice Hotel, friendly people »

The hotel is very well situated for the O2 and Excel. It is only a 2min walk from the DLR and 5min walk from the United emirates cable car. The rooms are clean and modern. The staff are very friendly and will do everything they can to help.

Location was great as the hotel is next to Excel. Rooms are quite ok, but the bathroom is little tight like in smaller sea cruise boats. The air in the room was pretty bad/used in the morning, maybe I should have adjusted AC. Checkin and payment was smooth, but I never received the receipt of my payment even it was supposed to be sent me via email.

Hotel was better than expected, the rooms must have been recently refurbished. We arrived earlier than expected and this was no problem for the people at check in, they swiftly checked us in and got us away to our room. There was an odd smell in the room but we opened the window and it was gone when we returned. Overall a very good experience

Lovely staff, but the evening menu is dreadful. There is nothing that looks appetising at all. My bed pillows were so solid I could not sleep, they were liking placing my face on a hard surface so it woke me constantly with pain

« So much to see. »

Enjoyed my stay very much. Short walk to the Emirates cable car for the 02, lots of eateries around and about and the hotel bar open till late.

Nice room, very clean. Helpful staff in reception but the cleaning staff were really noisy in the corridors in the morning when we were trying to sleep.

Staff was very friendly, modern hotel, comfortable bed, conveniently located close to the O2. One drawback is washroom a little small and closet located away from the main door, seamed a bot odd, yet room is very functional.

Room was fantastic and overall treatment by staff was excellent. However when we went to the bar in the evening it was a tad chaotic and staff seemed very flustered and our food took a long time to come out! It was only because I was at the bar I noticed my sandwich sat there and asked if it was mine!

Good stay, cheap room. Negatives were toilet had bad smell (from drains which appeared when used tap), and breakfast was over priced at £10:25: poor selection no fried eggs, only wanted cereal but made to pay full price

Very well decorated hotel giving it a lively vibe. Excellent breakfast, evening menu limited and basic - pizzas, curry etc but good value and very tasty. My only criticism, which is a matter of personal taste is that I found the mattress rather firm.

checking in was efficient. However a large coach party arrived while sitting in the bar, and they totally blocked the whole area and took a very long lime to get them organised. They were still there 30 mins later, when I then decided to leave the area.

As I expect from Ibis. Do not think the lack of reception desk helps the process though. Assistant was asked for support from other guests who had just come out of the lift and so we were left waiting even though we were first in the 'virtual' queue.
