stayed for 3 nights, room was not refreshed once, even saw the cleaning staff and asked for fresh towels, never got any

« Nice Hotel good for O2 »

We have used the hotel before when visiting the O2 arena. Reception was efficient and our room whilst compact was confortabel and gave a nice view over the old docks. The bar and 24hour food service was efficient and tasty. Check out was quick and easy.

« Noisy cold room. Hard bed. Dirty towels. »

Disappointing. We were given a disabled room as that was the only one they had with twin beds on a lower floor. Despite me requesting a room on lower floor when booking. Very noisy room which was cold and small and didnt feel clean. Towels were dirty and had to request replacements. Would not book this hotel again.

« A bit under my expectations »

Budget accommodation for this price. Limited tea/coffee supply in room. Limited signal /channels on TV. Bathroom sink was blocked, water was not draining properly +sewage smell. A few stains on carpet. Noisy due to long, echoing corridors. Location OK. Bed was comfy. I've had better.

« Excellent value for money, a great welcome and a great place to work and rest »

I have stayed at this property several times, it is in an an excellent location, the staff are welcoming and friendly and the rooms comfortable and clean. The lounge and bar area is very well set up for working if needed and a place to relax when your work is done. If I am working in London this is one of my first choice hotels, its also very close to the DLR so getting into Central London is very easy.

« Good value hotel. »

Clean and efficient hotel. Staff were helpful and efficient. Someone came to check we had everything we needed in our room after it had been cleaned. Breakfast was good quality but we thought it had been sitting there for a while on the morning we went to breakfast late. Would have liked more variety in fresh fruit available. If u stayed more than a couple of days would like more choice. Noisy 1st night, banging and thumping at midnight, noise carries, probably doors as people came back.

« Could be better »

Breakfast wasn't great and temperature control is strictly limited based on season. It was 20 degrees out but I couldn't cool the room as it was technically winter. Room was ok but finish wasn't great for a new hotel and the sink smelt a bit eggy. If you have a few extra quid I would go to the styles hotel across the road, I know I will next time.

« Lovely room with a view of the docks. »

The room was very clean. It was nice to have the fixings to make a cup of tea and have a bisquit too. The bathroom pod concept was great. Shower water pressure good. The only thing I would change is the strange "decor" of the wallpaper with the drawings on it. Just paint over that and you have a lovely room. Breakfast had a wide selection and I enjoyed the hot english style breakfast.

« Reasonable Experience with a couple of Issues »

Good room. No issues here. Breakfast: poor designed pokey serving and eating area which just caused stress for guests NO SKIMMED MILK on OFFER, only semi-skimmed and soya. Readily available in most small supermarkets and staff who seemed not to understand there was a difference between skimmed and semi-skimmed. Room key stopped working for second day Area for evening bar was progressively colder the further you got away from the actual bar. The staff would not believe nor check this when told.

A simple overnight with a friend, we had a warm and efficient welcome at 8.30pm. The room was clean and tidy and a good size for the price. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom was fine, although the large step up into the wetroom may be an issue for some customers. Overall, very nice - will definitely come again.

« Choice of room was not what I expected »

Checked in to a twin room which turned out to be a disabled room which was not ideal as I was sharing with a business colleague. Asked to be transferred to an available standard twin room, was told there weren't any available on the first night (of a three night stay) but there were twin rooms available for the last two nights. Asked to be booked into them so we could move the following day and was told they could not do that and I would have to check in the morning to see if they were still available... inevitable they were not available the following day. Not an enjoyable stay.

Awesome. I was very ill with the flu. I was given late check out. When I went down to pay extra the kind receptionist said he would wave the fee as I was a member and he hoped I felt better soon. Very nice service

« Great value and location »

Overall the staff was pleasant, room was comfy if a little cramped - it was supposedly an "accessible" room, not that I needed one, but I can't see how someone in a wheelchair would ever make it past the door and bed. Also compared to my friend's room that was of the same configuration, her room was more spacious. The accessible bathroom was a little inconvenient since the water from the shower got all over the place, but again, not the worst. My biggest issue was noise from other guest. My room was right at the elevator bay so people coming up to their room at night (I'm talking 23:00 onward) were very noisy and even with your signs in the lift were inconsiderate. I would suggest better insulating the door and walls facing the elevator bay. Also I was hearing a lot of noise from next door - but it didn't sound like it was coming from the room next to me (room 003) but from behind the bathroom wall which as far as I can tell doesn't have a room behind it. It may have been coming from the lobby/bar and then again, better sound insulation would have gone a long way.
