« Below expectations for the Sofitel brand »

Overall it was well below expectations. The room was very small, breakfast choice was very limited and underwhelming. It was even surprising that the hotel doesn’t even have a pool while other budget ones do. When we requested a late check out, we were told it would be at a cost of 90 dollars. That’s very poor customer service and has never happened at any other Sofitel or Accor group hotels we have stayed at before. We checked in very late due to our flight into Canada being delayed and the least you could have done is allow us a late check out free of charge. I would not recommend this hotel.

« Nice stay »

We were at the Sofitel for a family reunion (Roback). The facilities were nice, although AC problems made the stay unpleasant for some of our family members. The location of the hotel is excellent. We thought the food was very good, but not outstanding. The hotel staff who helped us with the reunion events were all excellent. I'd rate them a 10+.

« My stay was exceptional in every way. »

Everything was great, from start to finish. I have never experienced such luxury before! All of the staff members I interacted with were exceedingly helpful and friendly. The room itself was perfect--spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was exquisite. And, most importantly, I believe that was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in! My stay was incredible.

« Well situated for a short visit to explore Montreal »

The Sofitel is well situated for exploring the city being within walking distance of the Park, but also being close to both a subway and to shopping, not to mention the Jazz Festival area! The hotel rooms are comfortable and airy and all the staff are helpful, friendly and efficient! The staff in the restaurant were particularly kind.

Staff was very pleasant, (and tried their best to resolve the AC situation), room very nice, clean, bed comfortable, but AC a major issue for not being able to sleep for two nights, since the room did not cool down.
