As soon as our car arrived, the Bellman was outside to pick up our luggage. The person at the desk, Michal, was extremely friendly. Our room would not be ready for an hour. Michal arranged for our luggage to be in our room as soon as it was ready and encouraged us to take a walk which we did. The location of the hotel is in the center of Montreal. So much to see! We were gone a few hours. Upon our return, our luggage was neatly placed in our room. The decor of the hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very well decorated and very clean. The service and food in Renoir, the restaurant is exceptional. The Best of the Best!

This is the second time that I stayed at Sofitel and it will definitely be my "go-to" hotel in Montreal. It's an excellent location and offers a lovely balance between modern luxury and homey comfort. I actually spent more time at this hotel than I would typically do at others. The lounge area is a pleasant place to enjoy a leisurely and tasty breakfast and to entertain friends in the evening. It feels like a home away from home. The staff were accommodating and friendly. Love your comfortable bed as well; had a great rest.

The overall experience was very good. The bed however was uncomfortable. There was a dip in the middle as if a 500 pound person had slept there before me.

The room cost a lot and the room was tiny. Nothing explained to us at reception about where gym was etc. about food, resturant. Have paid a lot less in other hotels and had more on offer and better stays.

We were booked into your hotel for a stay starting October 2nd to the 6th. Because of a cruise ship not being able to leave, you booked us into the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth for the first night of our stay which worked out fine. The only disappointment was that our way wasn't really paved for us at the Fairmont, but an awesome employee there took care of us. When we did arrive at the Sofitel on the 3rd, your people couldn't have been better. I would like to especially mention Julie at the front desk who did an absolutely fantastic job for us. We had beautiful suites, free breakfast and a free drink our first night. It was a wonderful stay.

Very clean rooms, great service and excellent location. As someone from BC was unaware burgers are cooked near rare so wasn't happy with late night meal. However, had to leave early due to meeting change and manager was more than accommodating and refunded a night stay.

I have stayed at Sofitel Golden Mile at least thirty times. On this occasion we invited guests from Alberta. Everything was pretty much as I expected except for our departure. When I asked the concierge to call for our vehicle, he was rude, insisting that I have my vehicle card stamped by the check in/out clerk at the reception. The clerk had no idea what he was talking about. I have never been asked for this before. Then, after waiting with my guests in the lounge area, I was not informed that my car had arrived. I checked and found it parked down the drive. I have never been treated this way in the past. What has changed??

We stayed in conjunction with a Regent Seven Seas cruise. The entire experience was fabulous. We enjoyed Montreal again on this trip as we have been a few times in the past. We took a city tour and ate out a few times. The concierge was great, pointing us to local restaurants with more of a local flair. The room was also wonderful. liked all nice room only issue no teapot or kettle until we asked came quickly first day just kettle cups too small to brew tea borrowed restaurant pot day 2 and problem solved good luck with revolving door it worked in a brief interval so we got to go thru it once entire stay
