« Excellent stay, with one tiny flaw »

Overall my experience was excellent, from check in/out, concierge, room service to breakfast. The room was very clean as well. Only point of criticism is that on both mornings, despite a Do not disturb sign, someone from the hotel staff knocked and tried to enter my room. Other than that I was very satisfied.

We loved the location... The service from all of the staff was over the top...AWESOME.The concierge and the staff taking care of the cars were just the very best! They are the heart of the hotel...... The bed was so comfortable... The rugs throughout the hotel and the room decor were very tired.. When we arrived our room carpet had a huge and gross stain; the staff cleaned it as best as possible. We were disappointed that there was no complimentary coffee in the Lobby. The coffee make in the room came with no directions and three coffee pods all in different colors.... we had no idea of what to do.... Today,we spoke with dear friends who want to visit Montreal in October.... They were asking about our hotel experience.... we described it just as we did to you.....

Room was spacious and well appointed. I liked how the exercise room was across the hall from me. Room service was prompt, housekeeping was diligent. I was sent a hot water kettle that I used daily, at the suggestion of room service that I really appreciated. However, there was loud "water" noises in the middle of the night, I infer from the plumbing.

It was very nice . Very pleasant staff. Extremely comfortable. Just one remark: who ever clean the rooms should check closets and clean them . There was a pair of socks left on the bottom shelf of closet from previous people.

« Not meeting the level expected »

The estay in the hotel was with a good start, however it fail miserably in 3 fronts: First in the first night we visit the bar, my collegue and I had both double drinks ticket due to our status. I paid for the first round and then the bar man tried to take the second ticket despite not ordering any drinks. Second the breakfast included on the room was not up to the Sofitel estandart. Third and final, we had a 15m wait for checkout to then be told the system is down and can not do the check out. This makes it difficult to challenge anything on the bill. Not to the expected level.

« Consistently very good experience, friendly staff, and feel comfortable there. »

My last experience was actually not as good as the first two. The room's HVAC controls were in an unchangeable state. The rooms are always impeccably clean, the bathrooms pristine with a great shower, and everything is as I would expect it when I return. I ate room service 4 out of the 5 nights I stayed, and although every night the food was fine, 3 of the 4 nights something was not right. First night, the order came up wrong, one night was no lemon with a small water, and one night no bread came with it. The room service is still a very good experience and convenient during a busy week.

Sofitel Montreal makes business travel easy. A see less check in and a warm greeting from the professional team is great. The rooms are always spotless. « Attention to every detail »

Luxurious! Love the beds, sheets and pillows. The music was a nice touch too. Traffic noise was a bit loud and I was in the smallest room you had which was tight for sure but I still felt satisfied and pleased with the hotel overall. Thank you!
