« Dark room and general problem of lighting in this hotel »

Great check-in experience - lousy check out experience (slow and bad humoured). Lighting in this hotel needs to be improved. Very strong spotlights everywhere - but somehow 1st floor room remained dark and badly lit. Also problem with delay of elevators - took ages. No clear indication of how or where I could take the stairs from the 1st floor room to the ground floor reception.

Positive: 1. Good location 2. Friendly and helpful staff Negative: 1. Awkward room furnishing, placing bed in front of windows. 2. Windows should be possible to open more in order to get fresh air 3. Couldn't sleep at all.

My experience with Mercure Brasilia is almost the same. Well positioned hotel, close to the malls and good restaurants, but too may noise on the rooms and medium service.

The staff was very helpful though sometimes they didn’t fully understand English. They tried very hard to assist me when needed. I’m the end however, I was overharged for the use of the minibar. I used 3 items but was charged for everything plus an extra item.

I was in Grand MERCURE for a international conference. The saloons are excellent and the Restaurant very goods. However, I think is necessary an updated in the rooms. They look like a little old.

Reception took too long, I had leakeges in my room, water dropping from the sealing (room 1301). Breakfast offered was poor, many foods had finished. Perception and experience was not good.

Located in front a shopping center with good restaurants, pubs, drugstores, gifts, toys and amenities. Easy access to the main city avenues, attractions and decision centers. Good rooms, friendly and responsive staff. Good breakfast. In hot days air conditioning system can be noisy.
