The staff members were great. Great reception on arrival. The downside was the internet that was usually interrupted. Also, it would be good to have at least one of the major TV news broadcaster in English.

« extremely kind, discreet, polite staff. including cleaners, reception and security. »

this hotel has higher customer service standards than other Accor hotels. a negative comment would be the absence of a guide of the services offered at the hotel. there is usually a small brochure to explain about services, breakfast, pool, lounges, bar, restaurants and facilities, but i did not find one at my room.

« Great restaurant, nice rooftop, outdated room »

I had an outdated room, very basic. I had expected more. However, the rooftop was nice, the hotel restaurant was great (both food quality and service) and the breakfast was good too. I think there is also an opportunity to make the hotel more sustainable by using less plastics (for example the soaps in the bathroom are unnessarily packaged in plastic, could be replaced by carton or so).

« Overall goos with a few problems »

The staff welcomed me very well from the checkin through the checkout. The room was very nice, confortable and silent. The only two minor problems I experienced were the following: 1. on one day the hotel received a lot of foreing squash teams and I don't think the hotel sent enough staff to deal with them, specially during the breakfast hours, which resulted in longer waiting times than I'm used to when I stay at the Gran Merucre hotel 2. My Minibar was not working and I did not realize that until the second night, when I opened it and it spread water all over the floor. I didn't bother calling someone to fix it because it was late and it my last night on the hotel but I think these things should be checked more often to avoid such issues. None of the problems would make me stop staying at the hotel but I think it's important to enumerate them to give you the chance to fix it for other guests and future visits.

service was good, lobby is nice, but room is very old. AC is in front of the bed, so it is always with wind, sheets were dirty and had to be changed. In general, room was very old.

« Great satisfaction during check in process »

Andre at the front desk checked me in at almost 5 in the morning. He was very helpful and tried using his best English possible to accommodate me even though I had no reservation. He not only did an amazing job there but even let me use his personnal iPhone charger since I had forgotten mine.
