« Great hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff »

We made a short strip as a layover in Singapore in October 2018, because we want our daughter to meet up with her great grandmother flying in from Vietnam to visit me made a couple of bookings with separate requirement. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our every request. The hotel located about 15 by car to Changi airport and provided free shuttle service every hour to/from Changi. The hotel located near to a couple of shopping centres where you can get Singaporean’s hawker food at a very affordable price. The buffet breakfast provided by the hotel was ok, catering for both western and Asian fares. Overall, I really like this hotel. The staff there was what really made our stay enjoyable.

« Great hotel stay in Singapore »

This was our sixth stay here.The location in Katong is superb.So handy to public transport (MRT station opposite also opening next year) and easy walking distance to shopping centres and a huge number of food outlets.Checked in online for our superior room.On arrival, Blaire, a trainee at reception was very courteous and efficient.On enquiring about nor receiving the 10-20 % discount promotion for LeClub Accor members, she consulted her manager Mr.Iskander.We were pleased to be upgraded to Executive with welcome drinks and were personally escorted to our room # 1602.We had a delightful stay and wish to express many thanks to all the staff,especially Mr. Iskander for his friendly and professional demeanour Highly recommend this hotel and will book again next year for a pre cruise stay.

I booked this hotel to be able to use the airport transfer bus but the schedule started too late. Also, as an Accor platinum member I was not offered an upgrade.

« Okay, but a bit outdated »

I found the hotel to be okay. There wasn't anything particularly bad about it. However, there could be some improvements. 1. I used the gym facilities, which are a bit cramped, so e.g. I like to do floor workouts with free weights (HITT), there wasn't much space to do this, additionally, there were only a few free weights to use for the workout that were really light. The heavier weights were very chunky and not really nice to use at all. 2. Sitting in the reception waiting for a taxi is not very comfortable on the chairs that are there, as they have no back rest. 3. The shower curtain was not really clean and smelled. To be honest, in a shared facility, shower curtains are a no-no in my opinion. 4. I spent quite some time in bed as I got ill during my stay. Firstly, the bed was not really comfortable. Secondly, the fact that there is no smart-TV meant that I couldn't watch apps, like Netflix. Overall, the service was friendly and the stay was not bad. It is in a good location and there are loads of nice places to eat outside of the hotel.

A pleasant stay, clean rooms and great staff. The shuttle service to the airport was a bonus. Having to rely on buses to get to the nearest MRT was the only downside.

Friendly staff and very helpful, hotel room is clean and location is great which near by east cost beach that give you a relaxation to get away from your busy routine . A lot of famous eateries located nearby Katong area also . Good choice for staycation.

We (myself and 2 children aged 7 and 9) had a great stay at the hotel, spending 5 days here on a stopover from Europe to Australia. The room was excellent (1 large bed and a single) and very clean. The daily breakfast was good and the kids enjoyed it (apart from the milk for the cereal which was UHT milk and they did not like the taste of that since they are used to fresh milk). We used the swimming pool every day (usually twice a day) and it was great. We ate at the cafe on the gorund level and the bistro attached to the pool on other occasions and were very happy with the quality of the food. The staff were excellent, from the check in staff, the concierge, people in the restaurants, and the cleaners. All were very polite and courteous. The only negative was the construction work outside (our room faced the main road), with noise 24/7 due to the building of the new subway line. This we could hear constantly in our room the whole time, even on the 9th floor. Once the line is up and running, it will make travel to the CBD etc much more easier than relying on the buses (which the kids loved if they were at the top of the double decker buses) which took longer depending on the time of day you travelled.

a month in mecure roxy hotel. it was a pleasant stay. really nice staff especially Tina and Kadir. really friendly and attentive. some small problem like the tv control doesnt work. ask for a second one but still some button doesnt work. i can live with it though. and more on the shuttle bus would be great. not only on weekend.

I had a great stay, with a quiet room on a high floor away from the lifts. The room was clean, cool, and the bathroom was well-maintained. The breakfast area in the hotel offered all sorts of food from around the world, and was very plentiful! The staff were, as always, very friendly, welcoming, and polite. A great place to stay, thank you.

It was a short one-night stay after a week in Bali; my Sister had been visiting us in Malaysia and was returning to the UK on Sunday 30th. I had requested a late checkout because her flight was at 11.15pm and we were not only given until 4pm the next day, we also got a room upgrade, which was fabulous. The staff were great, the location is great and despite all the dreadful construction going on around, we had a generally undisturbed night.
