Everything not up to standard, for example: 1) Room design is not comfortable - narrow corridor, poor lighting design 2) Cockroach was found in bathroom 3) Attitude of the staff can be better & no staff presented at the receiption during mid night! 4) Location is OK 5) Shower head is not function very well (seems all Novotel hotels have this problem) Overall, nothing I can recommend to others for this hotel, should downgrade to Ibis.

I spend around 30 mins or over at check in due order issue. I booked the hotel from web and paid before. But be treated as a suddenly arrival without reservation. Very disappoint.

Lobby is a little hard to find at first. Breakfast is adequate for 2-3 days before getting tired. Very near to subway station and Luohu border if ones intend to travel to Hong Kong. There's nothing much nearby though, nearest mall is 400m away.

It's a small hotel which was just fine for a business stay without much expectation. However, there was one thing which happened, disappointed me. I have ordered something online and it would have been delivered to the hotel. As soon as my arrival at the hotel, I have already told the front desk to be aware of that. However, when the delivery guy came, the answer he got from the front desk was, "we don't have a client with such name staying at our hotel." He was then sent off. I contacted him and he told me what happened. So I talk to the front desk again and they are well aware of that, and the delivery guy would try delivering it again the day after. Guess what? He was sent away for the same reason. I had to take extra effort to go to their location to pick up my parcel and I am sure that there was no problem at all with the name of my parcel and everything.... A total waste of my time, money, and effort...

i was upgrade for suite, but in general i always enjoy at Novotel. the room was excellent as well as free mini bar. very helpful staff. location near the KK mall. plenty of restaurants and close to metro.

I am Silver member andI leave a message in the booking website saying that I want to arrange a Room upgrade but no response ever. This is also my birthday When I shown up in the receiption, I ask for a upgrade and told that is my birthday. They also said no. I am sure booking is not full in that day. Sliver member are entitled to upgrade. The bath Room tub is not not having enough toilet paper. I called front desk 3 times and they finally come up after 40mins. What a service. The bath tub was covered with a messy plastic mat with dirt and bacteria. I do not why still joinning the accor advantage member

I had booked the room for one night checking in on 14/1/2018 around 8-9pm .Unfortunately due to my carelessness I didnt prepare proper payment for checking in at that moment.I was only having HKD :450.I tried different payment methods at front desk.Of course,these two professional staffs was super patient to try helping solving the problem together.That was definitely my fault.I guess Steven is having a higher position in your hotel ,he still was letting to check in and rest in room a.s.a.p..All the things these two staffs did was definitely giving warmth to the customer.And finally I could have enough money to settle the bill tomorrow.I feel glad for Novatel group to have such high quality and outstanding staffs working in Shenzhen.That would be a great asset to your hotel group and surely if I revisit SZ I will choose to stay in the same hotel because of the good images they gave to me before.Feel free to contact for the details of this compliement.I hope in the future if there are any higher positions for promote,Sunny and Steven are really worthy to get a promotion with no doubts.Thanks and please cherish such two good staffs.

« NO SMOKING IS NOT APPLICABLE IN THIS HOTEL »

I'm very glad with the no smoking stiker when we go out from the lift in every floor in this Hotel. But it is very disappointed, in my floor (5th), the room in front the lift, with door open, there is 4 guys smoking with no guilty. And the whole corridor is smell with cigarette. And with me there is two children, and three teenagers. And we hate that smell. (I think they intentionally open the door so their room is better from the smoke and smell) So, I asked to change floor and thanks to the Staff of Novotel, we can move to the 4th and 6th floor. One word my husband said :"I think, the Hotel staff can't stop them from smoking" And I think so. This is the1st accor's hotel that I found with the men smoking feel free. And I'm feel sorry for that. Hope you can strictly and tightly to take care about NO SMOKING AREA Thanks and Regards Elina

« Hotel was convenient, good size room but looking tired and needing updating. »

Checkin went smoothly. Rooms were a good size and bathrooms met requirements- other than there was nearly any toilet paper when we arrived- about 3 pieces. The corridor had obviously recently had new carpet laid. The rooms carpet was looking very old and stained so would be better to be changed in the near future too. Bed was comfortable. Hotel location was good. Would be better if hotel had a coffee shop for snacks and coffee/tea - even a small area of the lobby would be better than nothing. Checkout was carried out efficiently and staff helped by calling a taxi for us. Overall a pleasant enough stay.
