« Staff need more training »

Not very good, upon check in I asked if a wine glass and a corkscrew could be brought to the room, the staff told me that they do not provide room service. (I wasn't aware I was requesting room service). Upon refusal I then asked if I could get them at the desk and take them up, I was told I can have a wine glass but not a corkscrew. I then asked ok can I open a bottle of wine at the desk and take it up. The staff then told me i'm not allowed to bring my own alcohol into the hotel (I asked where this was on the website as I would not have booked it if I had known that to which the staff member could not show me). I then asked to speak to a manager who then told me it wasn't against hotel policy and she proceeded to open the wine for. The staff member at this point said that he did not say that and tried backtracking (very unprofessional). Finally after all that when I got to my room with an open bottle of wine, suitcase and wine glass the keycard I had been given had not been programmed correctly and did not work. I had to then go back down and request a new one. The room itself was comfortable and clean but the reception is terrible however the wifi is free which was ok but overall I thought the staff member lacked knowledge of the hotel policies and integrity which are key traits for customer service in my opinion.

This was only a one night stop, but have stayed before & would again. On this occasion we needed something urgent printing out & the lady on the desk couldn't be more helpful. Rooms are clean & more than adequate. Breakfast is good. Always able to park

« Great value and a very comfortable room. »

This hotel was ideal for us. We had an extended family day out from Rugby and did not feel like driving home so we decided to stay at the Ibis Rugby East overnight. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed and was great value. We had a couple of drinks at the bar and even these were reasonably priced. We would definitely use this hotel again if the circumstance arose.

« Great stay »

We stayed for one night as were attending a conference nearby. We’re greeted by friendly staff upon arrival. The room was clean, great bed & would definetly stay again! The nearest town centre is in rugby (only 7 miles away) by car & has all the usual restaurants & a lovely park in the rugby town centre. Car parking at the hotel was excellent, big car park. In summary great stay & would highly recommend it

« worn and tired hotel »

i stayed here overnight for business. my company organising it for me. Reception was clean and tidy however the scene was set when i saw large notice boards warning everyone they only had 10min once parked to register their vehicles into the parking computer otherwise they would be fined £100. my room was,,,,, well used and looked like it needed a overhaul, the carpet was worn and stained my wife didn't want to walk on it in bare feet. i asked reception for a sheet instead of the douvet as it was extremely hot but was told they didnt have any available. Another annoying thing was our window was over the enterance to reception this meant that we had to keep the window shut else suffer the constant cigarette smoke from the guests smoking below. I had a meal in the restuarant and felt that it was over priced for what we had (a burger and a pizza) it took 45mins to cook once ordered. next year if i have to go again i wont be staying here

The staff pointed out the car registration machine and checked several times during checking in that we had completed it. This was to ensure no parking fine was erroneously raised (£100). The room was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel. Did not eat this time but did use the bar and the service was good.

Ibis are a cut above the rest for providing good quality service and facilities on a budget. My stay at the Ibis Rugby East was no exception. The room was clean and well appointed, the bed was very comfortable and there are bar and restaurant facilities within the hotel itself. Overall, I was very satisfied.

« Lovely staff bit very tired accommodation »

Just stayed one night. The receptionist was really helpful as I'm a light sleeper and looked for a room in a quiet area. The room however was very tired. Whilst sheets and bathroomwere clean the carpet was grim. Sorry and stained as was the sofa. The bed was also fairly uncomfortable. Whilst it's described as budget it still wasn't that cheap and I think the quality of the rooms should be addressed.

Did not appreciate children running up the corridor after midnight. Ten minute book in for car ridiculous,why the rush? This was our third stay and is easy access from m1 and near my son in rugby. We are Not particularly computer savvy and all the on line and little contact with reception etc and more personal contact would have been appreciated.

Reasonably priced midweek stay. Comfortable bed & clean room. Only downside was no air-con during one of the hottest days of the year however stays at other times of the year have been much more comfortable to sleep in.

I am a great Accor supporter. Customer service is excellent. I do think the level of cleanliness could be improved. Restaurant surfaces are usually sticky and just don't feel as clean as expected. Also communal areas and rooms should be cleaner. I watched cleaning and noticed that perhaps not enough cleaning products are being used. Cleanliness can never be compromised.

The hotel is showing signs of wear, when I arrived I had already entered my car registration into the system before I was greeted by a member of staff. I thought breakfast was expensive, as my previous stays at another IBIS hotel continental breakfast was included in the price of the room
