This hotel is really budget just like the name states. You get what you pay for. The room i stayed in only had one socket which really surprised me - I had three devices and was staying over three nights!! Breakfast options are very limited. They didn’t serve eggs for breakfast. If you’re looking for where to lay your head with no extra perks then this is what you want. If not it’s worth it to spend a few extra quid for a nicer place

Happy with my stay. Excellent price for London and easy to reach by DLR. Check-in and out was easy. Only things I would add would be basic tea/coffee making facilities and provision of shower gel (a captive one to stop people nicking it would be fine!). As it is you need to bring or do without these things. Bed was comfortable, room was reasonably quiet (but it is near an airport so there is some aircraft noise).

Calling it a hotel is a joke more like a hostel are toilet didnt work hotel was full we had to sleep in a room and go down two flours to use toilet in reception. Breakfast is not worth it majority of staff had a shocking attitude summer heat wave makes rooms feel like an oven worlds thinest pillows may be cheap but give me thirty minutes and could probably find cheaper and better in town

It was just okay. Minor flaws. We stayed in a room for three people. The top bed only had some bedding and was not made up upon arrival so I slept on top of the blanket. We only had two plastic cups in the room instead of three. The toilet door could not close properly. There were some people who stayed in the hotel who were making a noise until 03:00 in the morning. These were not a big inconvenience for me - I am an easy traveller. However, I think it might be more important for future visitors.

I stayed at this hotel on summer, the room was clean and the staff was happful but it was very warm. I asked for a fan and they didn’t Have, then I couldn’t sleep very well.

It was my husbands 30th and I asked for a special touch in the room as a surprise for him and would have been happy to pay for it. It was not acknowledged by the hotel at all. Disappointing

Unfortunately I had a really bad stay in ibis Budget London City Airport. I arrived late on the first night, and from about 4am onward, my toilet in the room would not stop flushing, which kept waking me up periodically until I was up at 7.30am for my conference. As I left (I was checked into room 109) I asked specifically to reception staff to fix the problem so that I could sleep better the following night. On return at 10pm the next day I asked if it was fixed, in which I was given the response "there was no handover but we think someone came in". Upon going back to my room I could hear the toilet still flushing, so went back to reception to resolve the problem. They came to look at the toilet and after about 15 minutes informed me it was fixed, and that I should go to reception at any time in the night if there was an issue. However given I had slept badly the night before this was hardly helpful. 5 minutes later the toilet started flushing constantly again, and I called them back, and after some time felt the only way it might be resolved was by going round myself to offer help. One suggestion was even to turn off the water, which they would have done had I not told them it would stop me using the loo and shower altogether. It was now past 10:30pm, and I was asking for another room in the hotel, or in a nearby AccorHotels partner hotel, as I am a loyalty member. They informed me no other rooms were available, and the nearest was Barking. I ended up phoning up other hotel chains in the area, who were also fully booked but tried to get me an alternative via Booking.com themselves, one of which had 7 rooms available at the Accorhotels partner Novotel which was in the area. It was now nearly 11pm and I went back to reception and asked to be transferred here, only to be informed a room was now available in 122 owing to a late cancellation. The whole experience was really poor and unprofessional. There was no apology, I had to try and find all the solutions, the only thing they offered was to cut off my water or go in the middle of the night to let them know there was a further problem. My room cost nearly £100 per night, and quite frankly I would hesitate before booking here, or even with another ibis hotel again, in fact I would expect some form of refund for the service I received.

The Indian lady at the reception was not welcoming, seemed rude and her tone of voice was very intimidating she said to not smoke in the room or my card will be charged as if she thought I was the type to do it, I know these rules and regulations yet she’s saying it as if she thinks im the type to go and do it. Straight away Asked for my ID as if I was a kid trying to check into the hotel illegally, no hi/how are you or any type of greeting. Just straight away ‘can I see your ID’ in a very rude tone of voice. She needs to be replaced or train her she needs some customer service teachings. Everything she said could have been said in a more warm and welcoming manner. Room was very unclean, dust on the remote, no fan or AC, loud noise outside so therefore did not get any sleep had to shut the window tightly yet I could hear the noises from outside and after shutting the window it got very hot hence why there should’ve been a fan or AC. Should’ve provided 2 soap bars as there was 2 people staying in the room and it’s unhyginic to share the soap between 2 people. No handwash either. No kettle and tea/coffee like any usual hotel would have. Should’ve been cheaper if hardly anything was going to be provided. I’ve stayed at Travelodge for a cheaper price and better service.

It's not the Ritz but you're not paying Ritz prices!! Recently came to watch a concert at the O2 and booked this as it's only 3 tube stops away. Room was clean, bed was comfy, staff were helpful, breakfast was included and only cost us £25.50pp. If you are simply looking for a "no frills" bed to sleep in, this is perfect!!!

House keeping barge in whenever they fancy, rest of hotel staff are friendly. Parking was free but there was no bathroom. Shower and toilet is separated but the sink is inside the room
