Fantastic value hotel for couples - I would not want to share one of these rooms with a friend as not much privacy with the shower in the room ! Great value with free parking and free WiFi - would definitely use this hotel again

Having stayed in ibis budget before, I thought all of them will be the same but for my surprise, there was no air conditioning. On top of that there was leakage on the toilet floor, no soap and rooms were too cramped. Breakfast was below standard...many of the items were missing... Juice was not refilled... Overall we had a very bad experience.. I even reported this to your customer care but in vain..

Think people need to remember the word "budget" in the title! Not luxury but cheap and cheerful and clean and comfortable. Great price for London and so convenient for City Airport. Staff helpful and provided a fan for the heat. Nice Italian restaurant nearby.

Lovely room with lovely breakfast in the morning however the room was always like a sauna even when we arrived back at 11pm. The restrictor on the window made it impossible to have any air circulating around the room coupled with no air conditioning available. This resulted in getting to sleep becoming a real issue. It might also be considered to put a screen across between the bed and the shower. We found it kind of embarrassing getting of the shower with a towel wrapped around us in front of each other as we were not a couple. Apart from that the stay was great

The hotel was nice, but was rather laid out like a student residence. The room was nice and modern with nice interior lighting. The only issue I had was the extreme noise from the London City Airport and then transport trucks roaring up and down the main road throughout the early hours of the morning which prevented me from getting any sleep at all really. I've never been in a shower before where I felt so claustrophobic, mainly because there is no fan in there that actually works therefore it gets hot in that shower room very quick. room #320.

We only stayed the one night and as check out was at 12, we were disappointed that domestic staff just let themselves in our room whilst we were still sleeping (around 9am). Surely the check in and check out system should provide the information of which guests are still in their rooms. Other than that, a pleasant stay and staff were friendly and helpful.

No air-con, not even an electric fan. We arrived at 22.00 after a really busy day, what a disappointment. Staff were obviously embarrassed, suggesting that, had we arrived earlier, an electric fan might have been available. Almost unbelievable that an hotel in centre of the London should lack such a basic.

The room was spare, no kettle or drink making facility other than in foyer. The room had a smell of bleach fom cleaning. However it was clean. The single staff member was helpful and polite.

I used the hotel as a base for RideLondon 2018 (as did a good few others!). The place was clean and the staff very helpful. Small room, but big enough to stash the bike (which fitted nicely in the lift) and contained everything that I needed. I wish that I had known about the early breakfast that other participants were enjoying as that would have taken a bit of stress out of my plans! Venue was an easy ride away, so a perfect spot. The room was very warm upon arrival (as commented by another review) but cooled down after I have got back from dinner. Recommended.

Had a really bad customer experience here. I checked in online and received confirmation saying bank had accepted transaction and that it will save me time when I arrive. Oh no it doesn't the staff made me pay again even though I showed them the email. They then said oh thats an HQ email from Accor when clearly at the bottom it says from ibis budget London City Airport, but hey I'm just the customer what do I know!

A very satisfied stay. Check in was no problem. Good menu for room service, at the right prices. Good location for London. Bed was a bit hard for me but that is a personal choice and doesn’t reflect on the hotel

Receptionist was helpful but rooms were hot and very noisy. Beds and pillow were very uncomfortable. Have really enjoyed our stays at ibis in mainland Europe but this was too basic and unpleasant

« Comfortable and clean no frills accommodation »

it was great to receive a friendly welcome from the helpful man on the reception desk when I arrived on Tuesday 31st at the hotel. He was not on duty the following morning, which was a pity because I don't know his name. The hotel also offers a very reasonably priced breakfast which I didn't try as I had a breakfast meeting but it seemed popular with other guests.
