The location of the hotel is fantastic and the staff was very courteous and helpful. They gave me a delicious cake for our special occasion. The choice of breakfast was very good. There should be more vegetarian choices in Al A Carte. good choice of sporting activities ranging from mini golf to Squash and table tennis. The swimming pool is nicely maintained with separate pool with rides for kids. The view both during day and night is excellent, overseeing desert and Al Ain town. Highly recommend

The service & food was average, could have been better

Firstly the food at the buffet was average and not value for money. The options were limited and repetitive got a bit bored by the second day. Also would have been nice if we were providing more water, towels given that we had 2 children with us, We had to call for water and were given 1 bottle. The property is nice and my children had a good time.

Excellent. Timothy at reception was very helpful during our stay. The hotel feels its age now, but that also adds to the quaint feeling. Love the extra facilities like pool, table tennis, squash. EXTREMELY DISSATISIFIED to pay AED 15 for a 500ml bottle of water - that was borderline extortion. Al Khaymah is a nice restaurant with a great location - food choice could be more extensive.

Service is not good. We had to ask many times for towels and they never brought it, we were delayed for more than an hour and finally gave up. Small thing but indicates..

Overall facilities are good. This is my second time in hotel, first time the cards machine was broken and we had to call for someone to open room door for us. Second time which is this time i could not believe i had to struggle this long and much for two towels. As much as simple but costed me my appointment in dubai.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Mercure Grand Jebel Hafeet Al Ain Hotel. All members of the staff that I interacted with were extremely kind, polite, helpful, and cordial. Not once did I feel uncomfortable as a single, female traveler - which is not something I can always say after my adventures. The hotel was clean and neat, though a bit outdated in its style. The room size was generous, and the views stunning. Though my room was nonsmoking (and clearly marked as such both in and out of the room), there was a distinct odor of cigarettes, presumably from people having smoked on the balconies surrounding the room. The linens were soft and comfortable. The towels were the large, "bath sheet" style which I adore, and always adds a bit of luxury to any hotel stay. I was surprised that there were no washcloths. I did not eat at any of the restaurants or order room service, so I cannot comment on those. 19:00 dinner is a bit too late for me, so I had my meals in town. I also did not utilize the pool as there were many children using it, but based on my view from the balcony the area was clean and well staffed.

The restaurants are the worst, the pool is very small, the outdoor kids playing area is very small with no varities , the indoor is the same and the ac wasn't working, the mini golf area are damaged on almost every hole not to mention having water in the holes, the billiard table is damaged and the sticks also not to mention that we have to pay to play, the mattress covers were damaged , having holes in them.

Better to change the lift/elevator process in scanning ur room card access because most of the time the access cards are not working and ur ending up going back and fort to the reception just to renew the card

When we enter in my room initially I had noticed that black colour worm on bed sheet.So after word changed the room but because this we lost sunset view from the hotal which is the height light of this hotal.I have video of this if you request then I can forward it.
