Impressed with the check-in - it was quick and prompt - rooms were clean and spacious and the view of the pool and city was refreshing. Enjoyed swimming and playing table tennis. Areas for improvement: - the beds were too soft for our liking - would prefer slightly sturdy mattresses and the table tennis board needs a bit a revamp! Overall a nice long weekend retreat - recommended!!

« Substandard rooms, basic breakfast, no value for money »

Check in was nice, the rooms were very small. For similar prices have stayed in much bigger rooms with many more options at breakfast. In this hotel, the breakfast was so basic that we did not know what to eat!! The only saving grace was the swimming pool. Stayed with a family of 2 children, and the bed was so small that some of us needed to sleep on the floor. Why advertise with 2 children if the room doesnt support?

« I am extremely disappointed »

Started with a very bad attitude from the front desk employee, very bad room with no bathtub after almost an hour of wait time to look for an available room, very unorganized swimming pool and ended up with a very bad quality of food at dinner time. My kids did not enjoy any thing even the fun room was very hot as the AC was off.

The rooms are comfortable and large enough. Though a bigger balcony would have been great given the location and views of the hotel. Pool and slides are fun, though the pool bar staff needs to ramp up cause they seemed to slow. The cocktail was almost without any alcohol and when asked, the server added more alcohol to the drink. Another cocktail wasn't available. And they were slow in their response time. Breakfast was good. However, once again the restaurant staff was too slow in their response to the live pancake station and the coffee machine running out of coffee or milk or water, or their response to simple salt & pepper took a while. The facilities of the hotel are good, lots of place to walk or sit around and relax. Winters is the perfect time to be here with the gorgeous weather making it more memorable and fun.

The best part about the hotel is its location, although i believe the location advantage can further be made attractive by enhancing the restaurant offerings, especially in the vegetarian options. The restaurant menu is very restrictive, given that there is no option for miles around. Otherwise, the pool is a delight, as is the various sit-out options overlooking the valley with both Al-Ain and Oman views.

The staff were wonderful and helpful. The view, pool, room and breakfast was amazing. The only thing was that anything we buy or order in hotel is expensive considering it is not easy to go down to city center.

« Surprisingly positive »

Lady at the front desk was friendly and courteous. I believe the hotel has been renovated in the last few years because I visited a few years ago thought the rooms were quite dirty but now it seems really clean. I hope it will be maintained that way. View is great, location is great, food was good. Overall, quite positive. Outdoor play area for kids was a nice touch but quite limited and not well maintained (dirty, broken see-saw, play-rooms with holes in the floor where kids can easily fall).

« Front desk and The hotel is quite old »

The positive ones are the location, the room service and the bed was comfortable. The negative one are the breakfast was not as expected and less option of type of food. Also, the front desk guy was very load and confirming the amount of the money to people next to us in a very load and inappropriate way. Also when I called for ordering water he was asking me to confirm many time that if I'm fine with paying the water as an extra which was common sense to me. Also the washroom is old and need to be renovated and TV is old and should have some Bluetooth connecting to project some other devices to it. The room with the view is over priced and not to the expectation.

« Great location but poor customer service »

The whole hotel needs big renovations, and the some staff need to understand how to deal with different types of guests. When you call your customers guests it means hospitality, I called reception and was shocked with the answers to my requesta. Refusing to give extra bedsheet for my son to cover himself saying you already have extra blanket. And when i requested for extra water the receptionist said no, we only provide 2 complementary and you have to pay for extra!!! Is this the way to deal with Gold accor members in your hotel? I already paid over 1000 dirhams for 2 nights in a 4 star hotel which was opened in 2003 !! Which i see is over priced. During check in I had to remind the receptionist to give welcome drink vouchers as Im a gold accor member, and when I claimed the welcome drink in the hotel restaurant they the waitress said sorry not here you have to go to the bar, its only for alcoholic drinks!!!!! After arguing another waiter came and offered chilled juices which is full of suger and syrup, at the end I requested to be served with a diet coke whitch the waitress was totally against. I enjoyed the view and the weather which the hotel is lucky to be placed there.
