We have requested for late checkout but the Indian new people who are in the reception are not corporative and I believe there is discrimination in treatment between nationalities in spite of the check in which was done at 4 pm my check out was at 1 pm max

this was reserved for my wife's birthday celebration and it was surprise for her.Had enjoyed lot ,water slide and pool was very nice and we enjoyed lot. they want stay more. rooms are neat and nice, staff are very friendly .at the reception desk,miss .Raiyani and miss. Shilpa and others help us for our comfort and they help me to surprise my wife for giving a Birthday cake for her. the view from the top is amassing. overall we are extremely happy. thank you

It was great experience, since we arived till we had left the hotel everything was upove what I thought. Also, the good thing that there are a side for non smoker that give the relieve to be sorawnding with fresh air and have lovely view.

Our stay was very frustrating. The hotel condition itself was fine and the views from the grounds were amazing. Unfortunately there were a lot of frustrating occurrences with the staff. The first such occurrence happened at check in. We were assured a non smoking room and were told a baby cot would be sent up. When we got to our room there was an ash tray in it. A non smoking room definitely wouldn’t have an ash tray in it. We then went for supper at the restaurant downstairs, assuming the baby cot would be delivered to the room while we ate. The buffet dinner at the restaurant included soft drinks that were never offered to us, and the high chair for our 1 year old son was dirty when the waiter brought it to us. He just wiped it off with his hands, my wife had to wipe it herself with a cloth. When we got back up to our room, 2 hours after checking in, the baby cot still hadn’t arrived. I phoned down to reception and they told me it would be sent up. 1 hour later, I went down to the reception and told them this was the third time requesting a baby cot and our 1 year old was getting very upset, because we were waiting for a bed to put him in. It arrived 20 minutes later. Breakfast in the morning at the restaurant downstairs got off to a bad start as the high chair brought to us hadn’t been cleaned at all from the night before and the waiter thought it was funny, bringing our son a dirty chair to eat off of isn’t funny. The food served at breakfast was great, top marks for the chefs. The hotel also gave us passes to the zoo, small problems with them as the people at the zoo were unsure if the passes we were given expired or not. They let us pass after 5 minutes of figuring. Dinner time back at the hotel, we sat at the pool restaurant and asked the server if we should order through him or directly with the staff behind the counter. He told us he would come to us. Two sets of people came after us and both of them had their orders taken before ours. We told the waiter not to bother and we went inside to eat the buffet dinner, soft drinks included, but never offered to us. It was Surf and Turf themed buffet and the chefs nailed it again, the food was excellent. Dirty high chair again. Breakfast the next day, the high chair had been wiped off, but the food that was on it the previous night was just left in the chair part. Seriously??? What kind of procedures do the staff follow? Have they not been trained in cleaning tables? Checking out was as smooth as I expected, given the effectiveness of the rest of the staff at the hotel. My first bill had overcharged me by 400 dirhams. When I asked about it, the receptionist mumbled something that didn’t make sense (it wasn’t an apology) and printed me off a correct bill. I got the sense that he tried this tactic with some people and merely got caught this time. Based on my experiences in this stay, I am confident that I would never stay at a Mercure hotel anywhere. I sincerely hope this honest review helps with some changes, the hotel needs it.

Rooms were nice, balcony was almost negligible.. 1st hotel in my 900+ room nights stays who denied to replenish tea/coffee in room Access to outside golf area was closed at the coolest time period morning till 9am, i can understand access to pool was closed till 9am, but why outside park etc, staff was rude enough to straigh away deny the one hour extra late checkout request. Room service probably dont notice the room and knock on neighbours door for ur orders..

« Great hotel and an amazing Mountain! »

It was excellent. I love Grand Mercure Jebel hafeet because the weather up there is terrific and the view is awesome, and well everything at the hotel is very good, but well maybe the service is a bit slow, other than that overall it’s great.
