The hotel ambience was lovely. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety of food. The staff were good. Mr Timothy at the reception was very corteous and good service. The room was good, but the bathroom was not good. The water in the tub was not draining, very slow. The toilet not very clean. The lamp in the room was not working, after calling they got it fixed. No spoons to stir the coffee. These little details were not attended to by the room service The dinner buffet was quite expensive for a week day.

Very nice It was better than previous year Swimming pool toilet is always clean (previous years was not). Nice breakfast, clean rooms, etc. as usual during the past 10 years. Keep up the good work

This hotel is described as a non-smoking hotel and people smoke everywhere. Specially around the pool and cigarette butts are thrown all over. Hallway are smelly due to gusts smoke in their rooms and the doors are kept open.

Change the breakfast menu . This was our second visit , in our last visit also we had the same breakfast menu. Including Indian menu will be appreciated.Hot season showering water is too hot so try to provide cold water in summer.

If it wasn't for the cheap price, I would be furious about this hotel! The room is TIRED and the bathroom is laughably bad - the floor is absolutely disgusting! Towels has holes, just a joke! The bed sheets were not tucked in, I mean - how difficult is it to make a bed properly? The staff at the Al Khaymah restaurant were, again, so bad it was almost funny - think of Faulty Towers and you've got this place. Took over an hour for our mezzeh to arrive and it was dreadful - how do you mess up humous in an Arabic country?? Mutabal was so bad I didn't even realise it was supposed to be mutabal at first! Mix grill came 30 mins after (when ordered to come together) and the waiter dropped a koftah before it even hit the table. Grill was supposed to come with garlic sauce, when asked for it was like I was requesting caviar! The shock!! They did replace the entire mixed grill, which was nice and unnecessary, but ironically it didn't include any koftah to replace the dropped serving. What else... there were children running around the reception area screaming until 1:00am - all the bedrooms open onto this area, so it was incredibly noisy. Staff should have asked the families to quieten their children as 2 unruly families ultimately affected an entire hotel full of guests. And finally, the reception staff were lovely, their service should be commended, however their uniforms were a total disgrace - to say they had been laundered badly is an understatement, one of them had burn marks and all their jackets were puckered from pressing with WAY too much heat. They looks horrible and it is a bad advertisment for your in-house laundry facilities. Overall, if I paid 1,000dhs a night for this place I would be furious. But I didn't, I paid 300dhs. So go here if you want to laugh at how incredibly bad it is. If you want something nice - go elsewhere.

Unsatisfactory: - Electrical power discounnection 8 hours. - TV server was not working and no boday could rectify the problem. - Very poor level of hospitality from reciption desk staff. - Very late response from room services. Totally nightmare experience and will never repeated.

Room reservation was really rude (Indian woman) .... the reception staff was friendly and helpful... the pool was clean, nice and fun.... room was clean and nice but was lack of stuff for example Nescafeh and Water in mini bar there was only one although the room is for 2 adults and 2 kids ... no hand towel ... no floor towel ... towel bath and rob bath was also only one in the bathroom

« No electricity or water »

We were given interconnecting rooms as I had requested. This was the only good thing during our stay. When we checked into the room, one of the bathrooms was flooded and maintenance staff had to come twice to clear / clean it up. The bathroom was not really clean at the end and we didn't use it. The next morning, there was a power outage at 9.30 am and so there was no electricity in the room (no AC, no TV, no lights in the bathroom). After some time, the water also shut off so the bathrooms became unusable; this is a very difficult situation when you have young children. And since there was no electricity, the elevators were not working so we had to take the stairs to use the lobby bathrooms (and then take the stairs back up... 5 stories). At 1 pm, we decided to check out instead of waiting and doing nothing. The most annoying thing was the check-out staff expected me to pay for the two rooms and I had to argue and convince them on how bad an experience this was and that I did not receive any "service" that I was expecting during my stay. Overall, this was a very poor experience and completely spoiled by weekend getaway with the family.

« Very slow check-in. Otherwise a nice hotel in a unique location »

It took forever to check in as the system was down. We waited for an hour, went for lunch and still we did not have a room and the babies were getting tired. Even after check-in, we were given a room, but no keys. We were promised to get keys, but after one hour we did not get anything. We finally left the room and got the keys at night when we came back. We asked also several times for baby cots. Only after the 4th request, we got them. The baby pool is nice, but it did not always feel very safe and there was no life guard close. The water was also quite cold for a baby pool.
