« Pricing and doesn’t meet the service and the hotel stars rate »

The room was quit expensive to start with. Check in was smooth. Rooms aren’t really clean, rooms carpet feels dirty somehow and last but not least NO AMENTIEIS, NO HAIR DRYER and NO ENOUGH TOULET PAPERS. It was a bit disappointing to pay money for this room. So yea here is my honest opinion and I hope you will do something about it. Thanks for caring

« It was an OK experience »

The thing that can make the difference is to smile. The receptionist at check in was very good (I checked in at 2am) but the same receptionist i met 7 hours later greeted me with a plain "yes". I did not get a good morning at breakfast. First thing I got was "sorry what is your room number" and if i was with the woman standing behind me. Once I said I'm alone, he( the man in blue jacket) just ignored me and went to assist her to be seated and I was just left there to make my own way. I felt some sort of prejudice here. Anyway, he came back few minutes to ask me again what is my room number, still no smile, no good morning but a blank look like he was not convinced I'm s guest here. Should we expect this service because it's a business hotel? But just to mention, I was also once an employee at Sofitel So Mauritius. Part of my training was to treat every guest with the same positive and smiling attitude. I still believe the Accor ambassador program is the same across the sub-brands. I stayed in Sofitel The Palm quite a few times and the day before I checked in I was staying in Ibis Styles Sukhumvit Krah Pranong. The service is very different because I am always greeted with a smile no matter how busy is the hotel or any circumstances. Nonetheless the experience was good and I hope it will be better. Please do not take it as a criticism but a constructive note from another hotelier, as I still work in the hotel industry and I'm still learning as well. The security / bell boy who handed me my luggage when I came to picked it up in the evening was very smiling and treated me with so much professionalism that I was impressed. I still have more trust in Accor than any brand.

I stayed at the Ibis several times, this was the worse. The people are very willing to help but the facilities are very bad. Morning without hot water, just to wake up with a nice cold shower. The bathroom & toilet stink badly from 1st day I entered the room The room stinks from A/C and has a smell of mould.

« The stay wad good. Total confusion on bookings I was locked out of my room for final night due to group team there making error. The manager of Rohail so good and the young Chambermaid Sheryl nice and pleasant the rooms were spotless and clean each day. »

The hotel location was great. It's very accessible, just 2-3 minutes walk to the metro station, restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel ambience is nice. However, I noticed there were 3 reception personnel I encountered who, personally I felt was not friendly nor very welcoming. I have been to Novotel Dubai World Trade Center, and the staffs there was great!

Catastrophic bed, I really left the room to move to another hotel. On top, very bad situation management. While leaving the hotel, the front desk manager camr to apologize and suggested me to recover the points burned for the reservation (2000). Ultimately, I decided to never use Accor Hotel in my stays in Dubai and will report the bad quality of the experience (low bed and pellow quality + catastrophic management) on Instagram and Facebook.

I was surprisingly delighted by my stay at ibis DWTC. Checked-in at 2 a.m and found amazing staff who made it go smoothly. The room was clean and quite, nice breakfast, excellent location near the metro and would definitely come again.

* The curtain/blind roller & TV's remote didn't work - I told FO in the morning, but when I returned in the evening, nothing has changed * Ate breakfast 3x and lunch 2x - food was salty all the times * On last night, the HK didn't replace the toilet paper and soap container was empty * Bed is very comfortable * Location is great for attending event at WTC
