It started with valet! There was no one around, the valet drivers could have parked my car for me. The parking is the worst. The lady at the reception was not helpful with that either. The room was okay for the price we got it at. The food and food options was not good given the price quoted for them.

As it is Ramadan there is no breakfast provided in the hotel. You need to walk around the block to have your breakfast. There is mention of this when you do your booking. If I had known this I would not have paid for the breakfast. I did not have the time to wonder around the block finding the breakfast location.

Very convenient. I had stayed here before; liked my room better this year. Bed was excellent, quiet room, requested away from elevator. Pradeep and housekeeping staff kept everything spic and span; they were very helpful and accommodating. So happy to see Miss Alexis at front desk (from other Ibis hotel across the street). She is so gracious and welcoming especially to a female traveler. My only request: that you provide a couple of hand towels, not just big bath towels. Breakfast wasn't too crowded and all needs were met. Good variety.

« Pricing and doesn’t meet the service and the hotel stars rate »

The room was quit expensive to start with. Check in was smooth. Rooms aren’t really clean, rooms carpet feels dirty somehow and last but not least NO AMENTIEIS, NO HAIR DRYER and NO ENOUGH TOULET PAPERS. It was a bit disappointing to pay money for this room. So yea here is my honest opinion and I hope you will do something about it. Thanks for caring

The thing that can make the difference is to smile. The receptionist at check in was very good (I checked in at 2am) but the same receptionist i met 7 hours later greeted me with a plain "yes". I did not get a good morning at breakfast. First thing I got was "sorry what is your room number" and if i was with the woman standing behind me. Once I said I'm alone, he( the man in blue jacket) just ignored me and went to assist her to be seated and I was just left there to make my own way. I felt some sort of prejudice here. Anyway, he came back few minutes to ask me again what is my room number, still no smile, no good morning but a blank look like he was not convinced I'm s guest here. Should we expect this service because it's a business hotel? But just to mention, I was also once an employee at Sofitel So Mauritius. Part of my training was to treat every guest with the same positive and smiling attitude. I still believe the Accor ambassador program is the same across the sub-brands. I stayed in Sofitel The Palm quite a few times and the day before I checked in I was staying in Ibis Styles Sukhumvit Krah Pranong. The service is very different because I am always greeted with a smile no matter how busy is the hotel or any circumstances. Nonetheless the experience was good and I hope it will be better. Please do not take it as a criticism but a constructive note from another hotelier, as I still work in the hotel industry and I'm still learning as well. The security / bell boy who handed me my luggage when I came to picked it up in the evening was very smiling and treated me with so much professionalism that I was impressed. I still have more trust in Accor than any brand.

I stayed at the Ibis several times, this was the worse. The people are very willing to help but the facilities are very bad. Morning without hot water, just to wake up with a nice cold shower. The bathroom & toilet stink badly from 1st day I entered the room The room stinks from A/C and has a smell of mould.
