« Pleasant Stay »

Location is good and close to all public transports (inc. bus to airport) and local shops. Self laundry service is within 10 minutes walk. The room is small but it's normal to most of the accommodations in H.K. It's clean and the cleaning staff were friendly. The '15 mins' response policy is great. Staff at the reception were professional. It's a safe place to stay.

- front desk clerk doesn't understand English properly - front desk clerk doesn't make the guest feel welcomed even if you're an accor plus member - bed linens are dirty and we have to call for replenishment of condiments every day. - air conditioning unit is not cool enough

Overall, I am very satisfied with the hotel and the service. Staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient to help customers. It would be best if the shower curtain could be changed weekly or bi-weekly to avoid the stinky smell, since Hong Kong weather is too moist. Hope that there is a hotel specific loading/unloading car space in front for arriving and leaving customer.

« My stay at Ibis North Point was fantastic! »

Ibis was very professional, quick, and friendly to address every concern I had during my stay(s). I stayed two times in a 2-week span and both stats were amazing. The rooms were clean and what was expected based on pictures, the front desk staff was super courteous and helpful, breakfast food was amazing with different variety each day, and the overall experience was great. The only reason I give my overal rating a 9 is because during my second stay, there was a bit of miscommunication on the staff’s part as they had given me a key for a room that already had occupants in it. I brought the problem up to the front desk, to which they promptly found me another room, and in fact upgraded me to a “studio” room to compensate for their mistake - this was a really nice bonus and a super nice way to make up for the mistake! I was pleasantly happy with the outcome and could not have asked for a better alternative. Overall my stay at Ibis north point was far better than I had expected, and I definitely wish I could have stayed there longer! I will definitely be back.

« Great for the price »

The room is quite small even though it was a double room. But I stayed alone, and had not too much trouble with the space. It is a good hotel if you want to mostly stay out in HK, rather than rest in the hotel. I stayed here a few years ago as well, and it seems they got rid of the thai massage place next to the lobby area which i missed. It is clean, though bed wasnt too comfortable. All the staffs are kind and efficient -check in and out. Good location for the transportation for sure with MTR, tram, buses including airport bus station.

Stayed in 9F twin room for 2 nights. Offered early check-in @10.45 am without having to request,..so impressive. For very early inbound flight traveler, this is like a gift from heaven!!! Very small room per HK standard. Very narrow single bed but comfy mattress and pillow. Unfortunately, construction sites in front of the hotel building block the refreshing water view from room window. Convenient for transportation from and to airport (airport bus #A11 first/last stop, North Point Ferry Pier). Many local eateries nearby. Super convenient for moving around in HK using all kinds of transportations, bus/subway/tram/ferry. Would never ask for more.
