Recently, through AccorHotels member website, I have redeemed hotel stay with Novotel Century Wan Chai in Hong Kong. During my booking process, my points were deducted successfully and booking was confirmed. But when I checked in on the day itself, I received an email saying my booking was not successful because my credit card details was wrong. Strangely, I used the same credit card to pay on the counter with a successful transaction. I have stayed in this hotel for many times and always using the same card, I have been staying AccorHotels in many countries using the same CC without any issues. But when I redeem my points for the first time, such issue happened. This is really a disgust and disappoint experience. I have been a member for other hotel groups but never encounter such issue before.

We stay here for 1 night, the check in process was efficient, and the concierge was helpful. We got upgraded and provided welcome drink at the loung. The room is quite small, as I believe is common in HK, but clean. The location is quite good and central, near Causeway Bay and some big names food such as Kam's Roast Goose and Joy Hing.

Ok, exept had to change hotel because rooms smelled moldy. The First one we had to change immediatly to an other room, but also the second had moldy smell. No other rooms were available so we had to go to an other hotel. Overpriced night (almost 400€/night) for that experience. Bad feeling

First time staying at this hotel and like it immediately. Room is clean and bed comfortable. Easy accessible via Airport Bus A11. Many eateries and shopping places and near to the Tram point too. After complaint of the washroom flash faulty, they sent the servicemen over immediately. Will be back soon.

Returned after a long day of touring at 10.30 pm on my 2nd day to find that my room (1119) had not been cleaned. The staff came quite quickly and they were very apologetic. On the morning of my departure, returned to my room after breakfast at 9.30 am to find that my room was being cleaned. Rooms are normally cleaned after check out. Clearly there is lack of communication between housekeeping and the front desk. Used my favourite tea bags and found they had not been replaced. Housekeepers in a rush??

I was in HKG for one night and needed a hotel that was convenient and affordable. Novotel Century fit the bill: great location, accessible by MTR (Wan Chai), free transfer to/from airport express, close to Causeway Bay shopping, lots of places to eat nearby, free WiFi. Customer service was excellent: the front desk staff was gracious and helpful, housekeeping was prompt when I asked for additional amenities. The room itself was fine - lots of room for one person, the bathroom was clean, amenities were good, the room was quiet, too. What could be improved: the bed and pillows. The mattress was hard and the pillow was lumpy. The slippers were also pretty flimsy.
