« Minimum service provided and lack of interaction »

A very normal service that I don't feel impress on the service. If not mistaken, the staff just talk to me only during check-in time and no greetings from any staff who walked near me for that 2 days. From Accor member perspective, I will assume they will upgrade me to premier room but when I asked for upgrade the staff just told me already upgrade me from standard to superior room which consider as upgraded. Do not feel like begging for the premier room so it is actually below my expectation. From my opinion, hotel should provide some training to staff on how to have proper conversation with customer - for example, if the staff told me that premier floor is fully booked so they can only offer me with superior room - which sound much better than just tell me that my room has been upgraded. That make a differences to a customer. Overall, the services provided is normal (minimum service) a hotel can provide.

had already booked a room for the Sunday evening but due to very late arrival of flight I was unable to continue to Shenzhen; after a few quick calls I was able to gain another night @ the Century. Saturdays room was an upgrade to a suite which was a delight even though on a lower floor than hoped and a view of buildings. The next evening I was moved to my originally booked room on a higher floor. Unfortunately the room had a damp odour and a humidity reduction fan going all day. Also the Nespresso machine crushed its capsules instead of allowing a brew - I use one at home but couldn't get this one to align correctly. However the upside always is the bedding is comfortable and the executive lounge and cocktail happy hour - nothing beats that on a hot HK afternoon. I utilised breakfast in both the exec lounge and the buffet - the buffet afforded more choice but the exec lounge gave peace and quiet. Thank you Century HK for looking after my needs after exhaustive travel delays.

« Great hotel in a great location! »

I had a fantastic stay. The room was always clean and tidied up with turn down service as well in the evenings. The Gym and the swimming pool area is great for work our/exercise or to chill at the pool side. Breakfast was excellent. The Premier Lounge was nice and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

« Dissapointed with my visit to Novotel in Hong Kong »

I wasn't happy with my stay in Novotel HK. The pool area was closed for 2 days, and we didn't get it communicated prior to checking in. If we have had the communication prior we wouldn't have booked Novotel. In addition, the rooms are very small, and the TV was outdated and the selection of PPV is minimal.

Everything was lovely, except the bed was too hot even with the air conditioning set very cold. The duvet was too warm and the bed itself seemed to heat up, perhaps a plastic cover on the mattress Thank you for the lovely stay though. Breakfast was great, location excellent, cleaning good, and response to dealing witha concern very good

Generally very good. Good location. Clean rooms. My only request is to provide hand towels. Only Bath towels and flannels were provided.

It was very easy and quick to check-in, the woman at the desk was efficient and sorted the room quickly. The room I received was clean and well presented. i stayed two nights and both were comfortable and relaxed. I wished I could have stayed longer but my time was up in Hong Kong and Novotel made sure I was well rested.

It was satisfactory. Compared to other hotels in the Novotel Group, the service was average. We noticed that most staff were utilising their mobile phones a great deal whilst on duty. It made it uncomfortable for guests as we were not sure whether to interrupt them as we were not sure whether they were on business or private calls.

I was here for some business, I was extremely relaxed in my room and loved the friendly service I received. was able to do all the business required of me and still enjoy a night in bed watching some English TV in my room. I was disappointed I was not able to extend my stay for another 2 nights because I was not able to afford it but otherwise, very lovely stay.
