I had expected all suites to be located on higher floors and that check in would be at the lounge. Instead we were put on the 4 and 6 floors. I would have given 'poor' for service if not for the customer service ladies who managed to change one of our suite to the 19th floor.I have stayed in all 3 novetel in Hongkong and I must say that this is one ranks at the bottom when it comes to ease in checking in. I make yearly trip to Hongkong but it is unlikely that I will stay here again.

Upon arrival, received a warm welcome and was pleasantly upgraded to an Executive Room as an Accor member. Location is situated in a neighbourhood which sells hardware, tiles and bathroom fixtures which becomes quiet at night. If you welcome the tranquility after a full day of hustling and bustling, this is the hotel for you. It is conveniently located within 5 minute walk to Wan Chai MTR station, has a 24 hr convenience store across the street, and is just 5 - 10 minute walk away from a plethora of shops and eateries. The room was quite spacious (according to HK standards) and clean and the hotel offers an outdoor pool and gym (which we did not have time to use). My only point of critique is that when our room was upgraded, we were also advised that we had complimentary access to the Executive Lounge which we later found out was not the case. That said, given their oversight, the one visit we made was waived. I have also stayed at other Accor properties where I was "upgraded" and given complimentary access to the Executive Lounge. I would recommend that the Lounge be included if guests are upgraded. Overall, if I was staying on the HK side, I would choose to stay at this property again.

I have been in the Novotel Century for 3 nights and it was my fifth stay. All good besdies just one topic. I have booked the Executive package incl. the lounge excess. Next time I wont pay this extra as I personelly think it´s not worth to spend the money. But the Gym really improved compred toi my first time to the hotel. ANd check-in /check-out was y very good experience.

My stay was what I expected quick,easy and inexpensive. The room was clean and comfortable.The staff I came across on my stay were all very polite and helpful especially when I was leaving and needed a cab urgently.My only issue would be the Buffett Breakfast - apart from the omelette that was made as you waited as for all the other "hot" food unfortunately was stone cold. This happened on both mornings, it wasn't a one off.This is an area where they can improve.
