I’ve stayed in several different hotels in Monterrey for less and loved it , but this one in particular was ridiculously expensive for a small restroom , small bed, very little furniture, no mini fridge & no travel size shampoos and conditioners. The room me and my husband got at the beginning didn’t have a working AC with is understandable, we eventually got a room with a working AC later at night. Yet this hotel didn’t satisfied us.

A night of hell

Air conditioner stopped working midnight and the heater turned on instead. The room was very hot even the hallway was cooler, I couldn’t turn it off and I was too tiered to call to have someone fix it in the middle of the night. Was the only night I stayed and all I wanted was to be able to rest but with the heater on it didn’t help much.

The Ibis hotel is a good option, but i have to say, even if the city weather is hot or cold, the final decision of the ambient temp in the room should be taken by the visitor and not by the hotel.

the stay was ok, but I was charged almost 600 MXN because I arrived at 12:50 hrs and the check-in time has been set for 15:00 hrs. I doesn't cost any cent for the hotel to let me in a ready made room already 2 hors before. I had a meeting at 14:00 and I had no chance to wait until 15:00 hrs, so I was forced to pay that additional fee. Due to this, I won't book at Ibis hotel any more

Clean room, comfortable bed, great staff, very polite and attentive. Food in the diner was ok, not great but ok. Overall its a great place to stay. Not a lot of extras.
