« Fantastic Short Stay for Concert »

The hotel was very busy due to the Beyonce & Jay Z concert at Hampden Park. The staff handled this without absolute no waiting time and was able to cater our every need. As an AccorHotel Employee in St. Andrew's I was thrilled to see the same level of service provided as our 5 star hotel - WELL DONE IBIS Budget Team!

« Ok for one night »

A lot of money for a small basic room, with no coffee making facilities ( only available downstairs). But it was clean and it had free parking. Main issue was that we could not get into our room until nearly 2 hours after the stated time, because of a problem with a laundry delivery.

Didn't catch on to what 'budget' meant until we saw room. Used Ibis chain a lot & thought it was budget accommodation for them but this one dropped lower. No cooked breakfast, hand towels nor face cloths, shower gel /shampoo. Very tight toilet room. Had to get tea/coffee from downstairs in dining area. Good price for pizza from kitchen. Snack food machine available for cash payments. Some alcohol & soft drinks for purchase too. Bus stop for town handy & range of food shops/small supermarket close by. Good free car parking arrangements. Room we had was quiet.

« Cheap, but disappointing. »

We arrived two hours before check-in and were told that a room was available, but that we would need to pay £10 extra. I have never been asked to pay this at any other hotel if a room was available. Only soap was provided, at other hotels, shampoo is usually provided.There is no provision for tea/coffee in the rooms, although this is freely available at reception . As someone who is used to a cup of tea in bed before getting up, and last thing at night, this was regrettable. On the plus side, the room was very clean.

Enjoyable. The room and all facilities were clean and highly functional. Excellent continental breakfast, good friendly staff and good value for money. Very cramped room, especially the shower.

« Great View »

This hotel is very well located and very easy to access.As always the staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful.Our room was excellent and on the 8th floor with a brilliant view over the city.The reception and dining area are on the 6th floor which makes a nice change as it is easily accessible from all floors, and the views at breakfast were fantastic. We arrived by car and were able to park for free in a multistory car park attached to the hotel. 15 minute walk saw us in the city centre, and a day pass on the subway was all we need to get about with ease.

The room was fine and good staff. The location is not great if you don’t have a car - either an 8 minute walk through an industrial zone or a 20 min walk to the station.

We arrived round about 3pm and had a long wait for our room. When eventually we got into our room it was just after 4pm and the double room was actually a twin room. This stay was a mother's day gift from my son and doubled with our 32nd wedding anniversary we were disappointed with the room. Although It was clean and the staff were nice enough
