« No more than a backpackers hostel. »

All the staff were very friendly and helpfull. The problem it’s self is the building. The rooms on the southern side are far too small and the tiny bathroom and shower are hopeless. Truck noise from the Highway is another problem. The Room Rate of $ 119 per night for 3 nights was very poor value. I had stayed at the Ibis Motel inTamworth @ $135 per night -good value. Best value was the Cedar Lodge Motel in Armidale @ $122 per night. As a retired Builder ,I can see no easy way to update the Coffs Habour Ibis Motel ,but as it is ,it’s very poor VALUE FOR MONEY !

« Very Helpful Reception Staff. Shower lacked water. Otherwise facilities were good. »

We were very happy with the booking office assistance on the phone and reception when we arrived and departed. Breakfast was good. Only problem was hard to turn on vanity taps and cold impossible to turn right off. Hardly any water from shower. This might have been because there were gaps in the wall lining that would have allowed a lot of water to escape into the wall and floor which would most likely have caused flooding to the first floor units below.

Terrible, no response regarding late check in times until the day we had already left. The smell of the place is hirendous the room was hard to breathe in, my two children and I slept on top of the beds and did not use the shower or the kettle or anything. I was extremely disappointed and would never stay here again.

We didn’t feel valued. Chair in room was broken. No TV remote available. Bed took up most of the room. car spaces very small unless you own a mini. Probably our worst room in any Accor hotel. Would not be able to recommend this hotel.

Our room was clean and tidy but a lot smaller than I thought it would be. The bathroom was very tiny and the shower didn't have a lip to stop the water so the whole floor was drenched. Unfortunately, we stayed on the first day of school holidays so the price was ridiculous (we paid more than we did for our 5 star accommodation in Sydney) but needed the rest on the way home to Brisbane.

The window in our room was drafty it had a 12 mm gap all round it let the wind in and the mozzys and the noise from the club next door also the shower head was bungedup it would only dribble pillows are flat as flat could be .

The service manager is outstanding, could not ask for more. If all the Accor staff had this passion and commitment. The rooms are what you pay for, so it is ideal for a stop over stay. You sleep, you eat and you leave. The hotel fits the bill.

The efficiency of staff and website was fantastic. Room was clean. Toilet was continuously running. There was a very strong smell in the foyer and the room. Other guests were very noisy when returning to their rooms late at night - I realise this is not the fault of Ibis.
