« An Accor property...quite disgusting! »

I appreciate that this is the only Accor property currently in Coffs Harbour (A key NSW tourism destination), however I will never stay at this property again, a sentiment also expressed by senior employees of businesses I was visiting in the region whilst on a business trip. The room was very average, customer service was almost negligible, my room was dirty and the bed creaked, and I found myself waking constantly. Should I be a senior executive within the Accor Group I would be considering removing this property from your portfolio. You guys can and do a lot better than this...maybe time to invest some dollars in an upgrade!

« Over night stay »

Stop over. 2 rooms booked for 2 adults and 4 kids. 1 twin and 1 family. Reception were polite and accommodating. Rooms were opposite each other. Free parking. Breakfast available. Comfortable bed for 3 star. Small room and basic bathroom. Only towels and soap provided and Coffee and tea. Good for the price.

well it does say budget accom and that is was the staff were friendly the rooms need a face lift very small run down the air con seemed to go hot in the middle of the night only 3 channels worked on the tv but the bed was comfy and shower was hot (shut the door to shower or you will set the smoke alarms off so they tell you on arrival )I was on my own I think I would rather pay the extra $30 to $50 next time and stay somewhere nicer .I left my pillow there wondering if I would get a phone call email txt or will it just get used with the other pillows at the hotel ?one night it does the job

« The worst Ibis I have ever stayed in »

The Ibis here in Oz are definitely not as good as the standard I had come to expect in UK. The rooms and beds are clean thanks for that. However this one is so tired and it’s fitting out made it feel like a cell. We are members booked through Accor website yet we had to pay $9 each for breakfast whilst all round place you advertise for $1 and that is all it’s worth. Cereal and toast instant coffee. If it had been like Sydney airport it may have been worth $9.

On check in I was asked for my credit card so the room could be charged, I informed the staff member I had paid already. She then told me no I hadn't. I then informed her again that I had already paid several months ago when I booked, as that was a requirement of the booking when I made it, payment had to be made in full as it was a red hot room rate at 40% off. After a while she found that I had in fact paid. Once in our room, I tried to get a cup of water from the bathroom sink. There was only a tiny dribble of water coming out of the tap. We reported this when we went to the pool for a swim, and they ended up changing our room. Later on we went for dinner and I dropped my husband and boys back to the motel and went to a meeting. As I pulled up in the car park on my return at approximately 8.30pm, I received a phone call to ask if I was still going to be checking in, I informed the staff member I had checked in hours ago. I told her we had been changed into a different room due to the tap not working, she then said we hadn't been checked in properly. I got out of the car and headed in to our room, only to find that I couldn't access my room, the room key had been disabled. I went back down to reception and she enabled it again, no apology was given. When I got back into our room, and caught up with my husband, he told me that earlier in the evening he and the boys were in the room and the door was opened by another family who had been allocated our room as well. Thank goodness they were there as who knows what could have happened to our personal belongings that were in the room, including a laptop and 4 iPads. I definitely do not recommend staying in this motel.

I asked for no staff to enter my room. This request was agreed upon then ignored. I left my jewlery in a takeaway cup provided by the hotel overnight as my wrist was swollen. I left for breakfast and returned to find my room was serviced and the cup with my jewlery missing. The cleaner denied seeing the cup. I received disrespectful words by the cleaner. I had to search through other guests rubbish with my bare hands to search for the jewlery. Police were called. I was hot in the arm by the cleaner. I was referred to as a materialistic, tyrant who lived a perfect life upon check out.
