As expected for an overnight stay. However seriously water pressure in the shower seriously sucked. I have had more pressure from a garden hose.

After reading numerous mixed reviews, most of them positive and some really negative I went ahead with booking. Not disappointed for price paid. Will use it again next time we travel through Coffs and needing to stay for a night. Bargain breakfast $1 extra per person. Beats going to the golden arch.

Pillows were pencil thin and apparently no spares!! There was no remote for the to-upgrading apparently! 60x30cm shelf only for belongings. Won't be back.

« The room had an offensive odour. »

We were extremely disappointed. The place felt like a back packers hostel. The car park was full of intoxicated young people. There was s terrible smell in our room. We stayed because we were a late checkin and we were leaving early. I would never stay there again. It was overpriced I could have stayed in a non Accor property and had a better experience. First and last stay at an Ibis property.

« Terrible, dirty, uninviting, overated »

I was given a room with stained carpet, leaking shower, basically an unlearned room. First room card access didn't work given another room which was worse then pub accommadation. The staff and manager unfriendly and questioned extra booking for breakfast which was not worth it. I found the images shown online when booking misrepresent what you are booking. I would never recommend anyone to book into this place again. $80 a night for a single person is still a fair rate for a clean and tidy room which was not presented at Ibis budget coffs habour.

Convenient location near main highway. Highway noise was not a problem. Plenty of parking at front and rear. Continental breakfast was surprisingly good - coffee, tea, juice, cereal, yoghurt, toast. Stay was made better by quality of staff on duty.

stayed at this hotel over the past 10 years,and came to the conclusion the management have lost interest in the place.broken and damaged fixtures and walls throughout hotel.very run down.During the night a group of young "revelers" came back to motel (1am) making a lot of noise,to our appreciation someone came up and took care of the situation allowing us to return to a much needed sleep.

I admit that when you are on a budget that you can’t expect much. I jitst feel that if you can put a kettle and tea and coffe that you should put a toaster as well as this is a basic. The floor pooled with water when you had a shower. You could hear the guests on either side as if they were in the room (I had two young children and had been travelling for 7hours in car so we needed rest) but the people next to us were awake until 12am. We were up at 5am so didn’t get much rest. The beds were comfortable. Another blanket would have been warmer. The tv and air con worked well. Light set up was good. Possibly if you put a shower recess in the bathroom it would avoid water pooling in cases where the fall in tile wasn’t enough. I was unsure if there would be a toaster and I had no facilities to make my kiddies dinner. We had magic noodles out of coffee cups, and the staff member on that night was so helpful and gave us some plastic bowls and spoons for the morning and let us cook toast for dinner (without this service I would have been unhappy with the whole experience) When I went to check out in the morning I waited at the counter for a while and hadn’t realised there was a box on the counter to put your key in. Possibly a flag or signage that pokes out would make this clear. A buzzer would be handy if staff aren’t at the desk to avoid angry customers. Thankyou for letting us stay. It is a budget hotel. A lift would be handy for guests with suitcases. (I had two little children and four suitcases to go up the stairs)

Budget accommodation expectations fulfilled. Clean room firm bed small space all as expected. Downsides were coffee purchased with breakfast was undrinkable. The lack of a lift - not really acceptable for a modern hotel no matter how budget in nature.

« All good for a quick stopover. »

The experience was matching the price point. Was disappointed to see that the breakfast setup was using plastic cups/plates/cutlery which on a yearly basis must be generating a lot of non-recyclable rubbish. I understand that this is cheap but as a large hotel chain, you might want to consider your environmental footprint.

« rooms were not as what I booked 1 quueen+1 2 storeys bunk bed »

I’d tried to call prior my arrival but the male receptionist or when I arrived the female receptionist had the same answer which mentioned Ibis Budget has only One type of room as what they provided(1 queen with stairs up bunk bed which was impossible for my son fat with 165 kg n me had 2 knee caps surgery) and we suffered couldn’t sleep 2 of us on 1 queen tiny bed. We explained to the receptionist and request another type of room as we had before and what we’d booked, but receptionist were not fulfilled.
