We did a quick 2 night stopover. It was cheap which suited us at the time with the $1 breakfast offer on Accor.com. Rooms were small but clean and tidy and functional. My 5 year old son loved the bunk bed above our bed. Good location, able to walk to shops and restaurants easily. Breakfast was basic but sufficient

The motel at Dubbo was comfortable, the rooms were neat and tidy as was the bathroom, the only thing l would like is more than one pillow on the bed as there was only one each and they were ok but another one would of made it better. The air conditioner was old so it was loud but unfortunately as it was hot we just put up with it.

Check in was easy. Guy behind desk was very friendly, as was the girl on the next morning. Motel is a bit out dated but rooms were comfy and clean. Sheets didn't reach the bottom of the bed...?? Close to Hungry Jacks and not far to centre of town.

Stayed in Dubbo Ibis - overnight to attend concert with other half - staff were helpful & curteous, room was clean & quiet - no noise from the other rooom heard in my room. breakfast - continental was adequate, coffee was good. All I needed for a one night stay.

Easy to book. Booking in a breeze. Would have requested a ground floor room, if offered. Partner has knee problems, and finds stairs difficult. A bedside table on both sides would be nice. Carpets on stairs a bit tired.

First time staying in an Express, simply because that was the only Accor option in the city. Being a budget option the room was basic and was what I expected. The biggest disappointment came with the linen. Most of it had stains and this gave a very dirty impression (even though they were clean). Something big that could easily be fixed to improve the overall experience.

There is not many recognisable brands in Dubbo, so seeing and booking the option of Ibis Budget provide some short lived assurance of a decent Accor quality. A lonesome front desk staff was great - super friendly and welcoming. However the experience pretty much falls off a cliff from there. Despite the hotel being on 4 levels, there is no lift which is not advised - so if you have a bit of luggage or mobility concerns, you should request for a room on the Ground or lower floors. We booked a family room comprising of a queen bed and a bunk bed - room was very old, walls were cracked, very small and you literally have to be on the beds for the duration of the stay as there is no other space in the room to sit. Carpets were worn and its the first hotel for a long time I did not dare to walk barefooted. Bathroom was also simple - so simple in fact there is a shower head, towel rack, wash basin and toilet ... nothing else, not even a hook to hang some clothes or a flat service to put some toiletries or soap around the basin. The room only had 1 spare power point, so you will need adaptors if trying to charge more than one device (and the point point is not near the bed either!). Air-conditioning was functional, but temp control was manual on the unit perched near the ceiling of the room - and the equipment was super noisy. Took a while to get the temperature comfortable but at least it worked. Beds and pillows were perhaps the highlight of the stay, being of good quality you would expect from the Accor chain. Breakfast was super simple and DIY - you feel like walking into someone's kitchen and pantry to help yourself - but not bad value for $9 per person (range and quality in line with price), however there was also a Hungry Jacks on the door step if you wanted something hot. Overall a decent property if you focused more on the "Budget" part of the property name - but definitely and unfortunately falls very short of the Ibis and Accor expectations.

The room was clean and comfortable. Perfect for one night while traveling. Continental breakfast was a bonus. The only downside - it’s between busy roads and we had some trouble locating the entry driveway. There should be bigger signs.

The room was ridiculously too small for someone in a wheelchair

I understand it was a budget hotel but it was totally unsuitable for someone in a wheelchair. We had to push the bed all the way to the wall which then put the person sleeping in that side under a very sharpe light mounted on the wall. There was no room for a suitcase. I also use a shower chair. It was like trying to play Tetris we had to keep moving everything around just to get in the shower.

Ibis Budget Dubbo is a great place for an overnight stay. The place is clean, quiet and very well run. The staff were friendly and obliging and provided everything required for an overnight stay. It is budget accommodation so don't expect luxury but it is very acceptable for a good nights sleep.
