This place just ticks all of our boxes! Room clean, TV fridge clock radio kettle, plenty of hot water and we love the idea of the separate hand basin. The $1 breakfast is just wonderful and amazing value

« Ripped off, treated as though we were a bother checking in »

When checking in I gave all my details which should of shown by my ID and address and Ph number that I am a member of your accord and ibis hotel and should have entitled me to and automatic discount of the current promotion 25 % off expecially as I explained whilst checking in that we were travelling as a Family from Melbourne and had driven 12 hrs as well as if I read correctly $1 breakfast and also automatic 10% member discount Im not sure how these particular rooms are but I had to carry my own blankets in to sleep on the floor as a dble bed wasn't big enough for 3 of us I was told I could not upgrade was offered full rate breakfast no extra cups, towels etc for my son when I requested a spoon for him to eat I was directed to a unhigenic spot were they are usually kept for all customers to have contact with when there was none I was treated as a hassle to try not to hard to look for one to no avail the fire alarms went off all hrs of the morning waking us all till someone was able to come to work and switch off I requested a receipt was told it would be emailed to me around 9am in the morning I haven't received any email. I received no loyalty points either. I received no loyalty or member treated in fact complete opposite. I chose here for the membership reason so I am needing to book 1 night possibly tomorrow at the gold coast and one the following heading home and I'm very reluctant to rebook with your company

Advertising $74 room had to pay $94.We we’re intending on staying elsewhere,but when we seen the special rate flashing outside,we decided to go there.It was getting late,we Had travelled on the boat from tassie,tired as you can imagine .App 20 hours on road.Staff were rude,place was dirty.I don’t mind staying at a budget motel if I pay a budget price.Never again,won’t recommend.

I travel alone & consequently it is really comforting to make contact with accommodation that has helpful pleasant staff;I feel relief knowing that my destination will be welcoming & suitable while also not overpriced.It is also great,knowing I can get a light breakfast from 7.00a.m.,which suits my busy driving program traveling to my customers.

I appreciated the cleanliness of the room but there was some mold in the crevices of the shower. The lady who checked us in was extremely pleasant and helpful, and accomodated our request for a late check out gladly. Breakfast was an awkward and uncomfortable experience. I very much didn't like that I needed to ask the front desk to make coffee. She was busy checking people out and I felt I was bothering her. I would rather have filtered coffee that was self serve rather than barista coffee that isn't very good that I have to ask for. She also closed the shutter while I was inside, but didn't speak to me. I wasn't sure if it was ok to finish or if I had to leave. I felt I was an inconvenience because I also had to ask her to let me out.

This hotel was the worst I have ever stayed at. The road noise was like the vehicles were in the room with us. Some idiot activating the fire alarm around midnight didn’t help either. We jumped out of bed to evacuate, there was no one around to tell us what was happening and then the fire brigade arrived. We only discovered is was a false alarm when the fire officer loudly declared the alarm had been reset. There was also rooms opposite us packed with foreigners with small children that talked in the corridor outside the room all through the night. We will never stay here again.

We checked in and checked out. We did not stay at your hotel. We were promised 2 single beds for our kids. When we went there it was a bunk bed and my kids were not comfortable sleeping on the top. And the bedsheet was not clean. We checked out and had to look for another hotel to stay

Noisy motor or compressor on other side of hallway. Broken window next to it. That would not close to reduce noise. Poor breakfast. Air con set to cool in cold weather. When I checked in staff obviously knew I was paying too much but said nothing, allowing me to find out later.

Friendly staff. Small, comfortable room. Water from shower flowing into toilet area was problematic. TV and air conditioning both worked.

« Small and cramped, but adequate for price »

We were quickly admitted, had our room upgraded for free. The price was cheap and the room has everything we needed. Everything looked slightly old but clean. Kind of like living in a closet, but for the price it’s reasonable.

It all just works. We came under less than happy circumstances (death of my sister) and to find a bottle of water, some sweets and a welcome note just made our stay that much better
