Very enjoyment from the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a very friendly young woman on our arrival. The room whilst basic was clean and meet our needs. $9 continental breakfast is great value.

« Great for a short stay »

Was great for the short last minute stay we needed. Beds were pretty comfy, wifi was alright and was great that we got a fridge and kettle in our room. Only issue was that wen our room was made up we weren't given any new soap, coffee, milk, tea etc beds were made and fresh towels were given though. Would be great to get face washers and a floor mat as well or be given extra towels to use on te bathroom floor. Staff were very friendly especially the young girl who was there when we arrived on Wednesday afternoon (sorry I forget her name) but she was super nice and helpful. Hallways were a bit dirty like they haven't been vaccumed in a while but overall I would stay there again if it was for a short stay.

Good stay. Friendly and helpful staff. An area where could sit and chat to other guests, read or watch tv, such as a small lounge room, would be good. Good breakfast set up.

No air conditioner remote in the room, no hot water in the shower on the 2nd morning. Main light in bedroom flickering. Mentioned on check out, was offered breakfast, but we were running late on departure so no time. No other compensation offered after that.

Disappointed that I had specifically requested more than once to have all 5 rooms together as we are a female school group and as the only teacher I have duty of care and need to supervise. When I questioned why we weren't together the woman just said they were full - not good enough if I had it pre-confirmed weeks before that we had rooms together. Last time we stayed here we had a male knocking on our doors 'looking for company' - I quickly dealt with this rather unsavoury looking person myself as there were no staff around, but this was one of the reasons I needed to be staying near students. We will try and find other accommodation next time.

For the most part I had a great stay. Stayed four nights. Ladies at front desk reception were lovely and always very helpful. Breakfast was more than I could have expected from a budget motel. We came away each morning completely satisfied with a wonderful breakfast. Lady at reception during our stay was always very accommodating with excellent service in general but also happily making me more than one cappuccino each morning! She should be commended for her service! Wish I had her name. Overall cleanliness had good areas and not so good areas but mostly clean. I didn't expect a lot from the room size given it's a budget motel so that was fine but I did expect a mattress protector as to me that's common hygiene. Thought the lack of one was quite disgusting actually as long as they're changed between guests that is! I wasn't happy when I made a point of asking for no housekeeping for my room as we had a lot of things in the small space and I preferred for it to be undisturbed. I had a washing line in the front entry way. Even on asking for no housekeeping I came back to my room on one of the mornings to discover they had been in there. I was very disappointed as they would have had to run into my washing line to get in there. The 'Do Not Disturb' signs should be available on the door like in other motels to avoid this happening. It's great that they have the housekeeping anytime it is required but please listen to guests requests! This was not the fault of reception either as I witnessed her advising the housekeeping supervisor that we didn't want our room done. She did her best, it was housekeeping who made the mistake. In general I was very happy for the price. Would stay again given the good points and the price.

I was told the wrong room number, thankfully the correct number was on the card I was given - I was told to go up 2 flights of stairs, but my room was on the floor above that. I had trouble sleeping because of noise, especially another guest in his (other) room snoring

Cheap and practical to suit our needs for the night. Greeted well by receptionist and check-in was quick and easy. Our room was sufficient for the night. Guests in the next room were a bit noisy but the receptionist quickly sorted that for us as we needed a good night's sleep. The fridge was noisy so we turned it off otherwise it would have kept us awake. I had a very unpleasant cold shower as no hot water was coming through but the next person straight after me got the hot water through. Can't figure that out. Breakfast was good and the coffee a great start to the day. Easy checkout and we were on our way.

I believe, the mattress is beyond its use by date (Room 241) too firm and the metal wiring could be felt. For the type of shower, a shower curtain and a bath met would be well utilised. Individual chairs would also be useful. Otherwise, the room was quite functional and served its purpose.
