An IBIS is what you pay by way of the standard of accommodation. In Hull the staff looking after reception and the food and drink area were exceptional - well done to Linda and Natasha, they did an excellent job.

Dried faeces on bathroom door handle. I cleaned it myself. Never had to do that before! However the rest of the room was clean. Bed very comfy. Staff friendly and breakfast was fantastic! Definitely recommend to anyone however make sure cleaners do their job. Room 228

I always stay here when I visit Hull centre. Good value, friendly staff and great location. Quiet rooms too. I will be back in 1 month.

Good hotel - stayed here many times. Staff are welcoming and happy to help. Two minutes from the railway station. The limitation is the lack of parking if any free parking if you had a car.

« a good hotel »

the staff could not of been more helpfull, but people should be aware that the hotel does supply rooms to the social, which sometimes leads to groups standing round the hotel entrance, and my wife more than myself found this very intimidating . i witnessed something of a drug deal happening just outside the hotel which raised my concerns.i cannot however fault the staff or the facilities, or room in the hotel.

Great staff and friendly. Smelly drains in bathroom and smell from rubbish outside the back of the hotel. Found blood stain on quilt cover.

Warm room, comfortable bed, good breakfast, convenient for train and bus station, walking distance to old town and marina, nice staff, only problem was side table in bedroom was missing so nowhere to put a glass of water at night, we were in room 118, otherwise very good.

Reception staff friendly. Room looked tired, old carpet, dusty light fittings. Generally clean but not to the standard of other Ibis hotels such as Swansea.

Bed in the double room was really bad,looked like it was just springs,the carpets smelt but staff was fantastic and helpful..please improve on the mattress and carpets
