« All the staff were extremely helpful and the hotel was in great condition. »

Check in and check out were rapid. The breakfast was superb and the rooms were large and spotless. Everyone was friendly. The hotel is in a wonderful location for shopping and restaurants.

I had to stay 2 x on this trip, and the second time I checked in, they gave me a room with 3 single beds and said there was nothing available (queen size bed). I think this is insulting because I booked my trip in advance and the queen bed was available. I also ordered dinner and items came wrong. They fixed later, but I had to call to tell them it was wrong.

« The hotel staff was excellent--as always. The new room layout is, however, troubling. »

As usual, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful--particularly the front desk. I was very happy to see that the scrambled eggs at the breakfast buffet were finally firm and not as soft and liquid as they had been in the past. Overall the experience was very positive--EXCEPT that I did not like the new room concept that removed the dresser out of the room. I was on a four-week business trip and had extensive luggage with me. Unfortunately, I had to keep my clothes stored in my suitcases since the meager cubicles in the closet were inadequate to properly store any clothes. In the past, I had used these wo cubicles to store my shoes and laundry. VERY disappointing.

I have stayed at this hotel many times since 2003. It is clean, runs well and the rooms are small but comfortable. It is also located near restaurants and the MASP. However, the water in the showers is either too hot or too cold. The air conditioner is either off or freezing. And charging an electrical device (now that we all have cell phones, computers, iPads, running watches, etc) require getting on ones knees to find an open plug. The breakfast is seriously overpriced. There should be an option of toast, butter, jelly and coffee. I don’t need all the rest.

« Adequate but an average hotel in need of refurbishment »

The plus is the hotel is in a good location, my room was a good size, bed was comfortable, breakfast was adequate, a real toaster and the ability to order a fresh omelette from the kitchen would be nice. The negative which is a personal opinion, my room was old and in desperate need to of refurbishment, the floorboards near the bathroom were decaying from water damage, the tap in the sink was cracked and leaked whenever I used the water, the walls need a fresh paint job. The room needs more power points and charging points for business travellers and their equipment (laptops, phones, tablets etc.) there is no central light switch by the bed, which means you have to switch of the central lights from the entrance door and then walk around in the to find the bed. Staff are polite but not particularly friendly. This is not a great hotel for business travellers. My room looked directly into offices where people can see me if I opened the curtains. its very unlikely I or my company would use this hotel again, id rather pay more for a nicer more modern hotel.

I've been to different Accor hotels, and as much as I felt like this one has the "marks" of an Accor hotel, it's not as intense. Everyone was doing "just enough". Maybe the hotel needs to do something to keep the staff motivated, the rooms better equipped, etc.

« Terrible expirence »

One of the worse hotel stays I have ever experienced. Poor maintenance and terrible customer service. We were stuck in the hotel elevator for 40 minutes with no assistance from hotel staff. We were able to open the doors and jump from the elevators.

The hotel is really good and well located. My room was spacious, clean, with a king bed. The only reason not to rate 10: in the room almost has no electrical outlets. Considering that each person carries with him/her at least one cell phone, one would expect to find easily accessible sockets at the head of the bed or at the desk, for example.

« Extremely disappointing and will not stay here again »

The hotel accommodations were mediocre, the staff was unhelpful and oftentimes rude. The elevator malfunctioned while I was staying at the hotel and myself and 4 others (including a small child) were stuck on the elevator for 40 minutes. The staff did a TERRIBLE job of communicating with us while we were stuck and were not able to remedy the issue. We had to pry open both sets of doors and jump out of the elevator. It was a terrifying experience that should have been taken care of immediately. They did not have the appropriate staff on hand to help and the staff was extremely rude following the incident. I understand that maintenance issues happen, however the way in which it was handled was inexcusable.
