Smooth check in with room available early. Hotel breakfast at an extra cost but very good with lots of choice. Buffet style covering fruits, cereal, juices, coffee, eggs and sausages and waffles and yogurts etc. Hotel rooms are dated but spacious. Trip was for my husbands 30th on the day we arrived and the staff went above what I expected by decorating our room whilst we’re out, leaving a present and then knocking the door with a cake and bottle of wine on ice when we returned, was a lovely gesture. Thankyou :)

Everything was perfect. The suite was very comfortable, clean and roomy, with a big desk that allowed me to work in my room, a big plus for me on a business trip. Check-in and check-out was fast. The staff was professional, friendly and efficient. I want to give a special mention to Mrs D'Agui and Esther for their amicable helpfulness.

The staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean. I was happy the room was ready for me when I arrived. Also Theo was very helpful to me before my arrival to Cannes. I needed to change credit card information and he took care of everything for me. Thank you.

Expensive; worn down hotel; smelly carpet; poor breakfast; dirty breakfast room; never ever again

It started very well but was ruined by a collapsing table and a broken promise of a full refund which we accepted. A claim for damages might have achieved more.

The hotel fell way below the standard I was expecting. I’m a regular visitor and stay always with Novotel but this is by far my worst experience. Room wasn’t cleaned properly and also tea and water wasn’t replaced during my entire stay.

Good room layout and spacious enough for family of 3. Comfortable main bed but not the sofa bed. Good breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful but would look good if wearing uniform. Aircondition system not good. We have to open the window. Can't imagine during summer time. Cabinets in the room a bit dusty and the vent in the bathroom in room 821 dont think its been cleaned at all as dust too thick. Took a picture of it. Overall, still recommend as walking distance to shops, restaurants and the promenade. About 10-15 minutes walk from train station to hotel

Hotel was great , room had all we needed and more . The reason i would not recommend is being a disabled wheelchair user we had a extremely distressing stay as the lift in the carpark was out of order . This resulted in me having to suffer a very unpleasant journey assisted by two very helpful duty staff going backwards down several levels which were ridiculously steep to get to my car . on arriving back at the carpark the lift was still out of order resulting in my wife virtually dragging myself up five levels with us having to stop on each landing to gather our breath( I suffer from heart failure amongst other conditions ) an our strength .. After reaching the top and been passed by other guests on the stairway who looked at myself as if i was drunk !!! my wife got me into my wheelchair we made our way to the reception to be met by hotel staff who offered me a bottle of water and apologized for the obvious discomfort i was in . That evening we had to cancel our plans to travel to Nice for dinner and ordered a takeaway meal as the lift was still out of order . The next morning on our departure we explained to the duty staff our situation and were told there was no one that could assist us back down to the car as there was only two staff on !! After a short time one staff member left and returned with a guy who did not look happy at what he was being asked to do by assisting me to my car . As i have said before the hotel was well placed and to a good standard but for anyone with mobility issues or elderly the hotel is not suitable as a working lift is a essential necessary requirement at all times . This short break was a Christmas present from my daughter Stacey and was ruined by the failing of the lift issue . Regards George M.
