« Description is only partly correct »

Overall our stay was good at Novotel Suites. The staff is well trained and friendly, the service good and even our 3 year young son with all his energy had a good stay. Hotel is clean and well managed. Living for many years in Asia we had three things made us not happy: 1. Smoking is in Europe still a common thing it seems. The nice little courtyard was useless for us since guest were allowed to smoke inside. A no-go in most Asian countries. What a pitty, no outdoor breakfast for us :-( 2. On the website the Novotel is saying that our category has a double bed and a double sofa-bed. But the reality has only single sofa-bed :-( 3. On the online pictures you get a feeling of high quality bathrooms. The floor looks even made of wood. But the reality is that the bathrooms are just wet cabins made of plastic like i know them from Japan. With an active small child a kind of noisy thing :-( Overall, for smokers without children to recommend. Location is great since you can walk to all important and interesting points in Cannes. But next time we will definitely change the hotel.

Very nice family vacation. Staff is very attentive. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. All is great. Only problem is that there is only one lift. This is not enough for a hotel this size especially considering cleaning staff is also using it. Sometimes long waiting time because of that.

The hotel is good location approx. 700 meters from Gare the Cannes. Good service and quality breakfast. Separated toilet, bathtub and shower. The room is big and you can separated the living room and the bed. More positivum the kitchenette. I can recommend it to everyone.

Suites are big enough for a family of two adults plus two grown-up teens. The extra beds are very comfortable, while the breakfast was poor compared with the rest Novotel suites hotels. Location is superb-maximum 15 minutes to the Red carpet.

I am a college professor and I was teaching an online class during our stay in the hotel, The first day was great and everything was OK. On the second day the WIFI went down, I ask the reason the attendant said that it will be fixed soon. We left after four days stay total and it was NOT fixed yet.

We stayed there 3 nights with 2 adults and a dog, and were extremely satisfied. The room was nice and tidy and very spacious. The staff was very friendly and spoke very good English, even the cleaners made us feel welcome when seeing them in the hallways.

Hotel good , internet not working most of time , air conditioning can’t cope with heat, Breakfast : most fruits gone off, generally short supply , time taken to refill, or not refill at all. Small of eggs every where including dishes such put off. Avoid Breakfast

Clean, large rooms. We had some problems with the maid. Even if we stood in only our underwear when she sometimes knocked at the door, she walked straight in and talked to us in french. Tried to tell her every day that we didn't understand her. I think it's very rude to come into the room while the guests are there!! First time I've experienced that. The last day we asked for late check out since we came late back to the hotel, and we were told that we could keep the room till 1PM. Next day she started coming around at 09:30, then 10:30 and woke us all up, don't they get that information from the reseption? We stayed at your hotel 2 years ago as well, but we were more lucky with the maid that time. Otherwise, the reseption was very helpful with all our questions, so big thanks to them :)

« Was ok until a problem accrue. I had a very bad experience by the way they handle it »

We left behind 5 jackets in the room. We remembered when we arrived to Avignon. We called the hotel back, and wat a bad experience we had. We never get any manager or a responsible staff calling us and explain what happened in their investigation ( if the did anything ) we felt dealing with a cheap hotel and not in France. On our way leaving from Nice airport we stopped at the Novotel Suites to ask if anything came up. But I wish I didn’t stop by, the receptionist ask us to go to z Police. I wonder why they don’t conduct an internal investigation and give us the answer back. I wish that I had time to go to z police to report such a misconduct.

Dear Mr A., Thank you for taking the time to make a feedback on your stay. However we are surprised by the ratings given that during the stay no problem was reported at the Reception. When you called the hotel on different occasions, the number of "stolen" jackets was not the same. So, your comments on the origin of the housekeeping staff cannot be admissible by the hotel. We informed you of the procedure to follow, that is to say of filing a complaint at the police station because we need it to start a procedure with our insurance. As mentioned yesterday, camera may be required in this case by the police. On our side, we did the best to help you solve this problem, we work for ACCOR so we have procedures to follow and the staff apply them. Good hotel, but the staff seemed confussed. Told them that we would be one day late by mail and phone but didnt know when we came. We got late checkout but didnt seem like the new staff know about that.
