Great hotel with good food close to the airport. Ideal for business visits in Milan area if time is important.Restaurant and rooms are great value. Staff always friendly. Airport shuttle available. Distance to airport by car 5 minutes.

« Nice place for a short stay. »

The entrance and lobby bar looks great, but the room was dirty with a carpet spotted all over.The air conditioner was switched off so the room was cold when we entered and it took more than half an hour to warm up. The receptionists were extremely polite. Thank you!

Knowing this Hotel since many years, and having stayed numerous time, I have always enjoyed the nice welcome of the front desk staff, the services, the ideal location near the Airport less than 15 min by Shuttle of the Hotel.

« Quiet room, but the Restaurant is disappointing »

We were delighted to be upgraded to a suite on arrival. The suite was clean and spacious, and at a pleasant temperature. The bed was comfortable, and the water in the shower was hot - even if the shower 'cubicle' is a little on the small side for such a large room!! But this hotel is let down by the restaurant: but perhaps we should have realised this, because the price is very low. The menu is quirky*, to say the least, and the meals that we had were served tepid. Some of the fruit in my fruit salad were beginning to rot. Having said this, breakfast was a significant improvement, with quite a good choice of fresh produce (although I have had more choice at some Ibis hotels!!) The parking facility is brilliant, and very, very reasonably-priced. You park your car and retain the keys!!! Ours was in the basement, so no stumbling about in the rain to find your vehicle in some remote corner of a muddy car park. Just a word of warning: whilst we there a young man had his bag stolen from the lobby (containing his credit cards, keys, Passport etc.), and although reception were fairly busy with a large party, they didn't seem to be very helpful. The victim was surprisingly calm, but if it had been me, I would have expected much more from the staff!! * including the strangest bolognese sauce we have ever encountered.

We were overall satisfied with the stay at Accor Milan Malpensa Airport Hotel. The only thing that my kids were disappointed was the unserviceable Xbox at the children indoor play area. One of the staff told came and took a look and left saying his colleague was looking at it but apparently neither he nor his colleague came back. Which left my kids waiting. Could be better if a piece of notice was put up to say it is under service.

Reception very good. Room very good. Menu selection in restraunt, no option for vegertarian, when head waiter asked what i wanted to order i said i there was nothing for a vegetarian to which he replied i could have soup. This is not a main course. Waiter said they could make me something. i opted forgrilled vegetables and Motzarella. I recived a plate of sliced Obergen and Corcgette with a cold Motzerlla ball. The house red wine for welcome card was fine. I ordered a second glass, this came from a new bottle and it was fizzy, (off). When i explained to the waitress her reply was 'well we have opened the bottle now'. She said she would return, some time later she returned after i had finished eating. I refused the wine from supposidly another bottle since i had finished eating. It was hard to attract the attention of the two waitress working. I explained to reception my diasapointment at the meal and the reaction to the wine being off and that i was not going to pay for the meal. Reception was again very polite and appologised for the experience.

Solid stay, all very functional. Some confusion with airport transfers (is every half hour frequent enough?) & my costs associated with extras which still needs to be resolved. Failed to give the upgrade promised with card membership - was eventually sorted but took time.

« A very basic Novotel »

More of an Ibis . Good opening windows and comfortable bed. Room was quiet.But bathroom doors opened towards beds and one of the doors was partly clear so thatlight from bathroom shone onto bed( not desirable inmiddle of night).No extra blanket in room and had to obtain from hard working receptionist and take it back to room. Shower luke warm.Not enough staff generally. Noone at bar and had to be calledfor by receptionist. Dinnermenu limited and again,not enough staff. Place was clean and sufficed for airport purpose. Be aware of airport minivan if not able to leap up into it- a step would have helped insteadof having to be pulled up by a fellow travellor. But expensive for what it was.

We love Novotel. However one complaint consistently at this location: the room is always too hot. Even in the fall. Does not ever cool down even when we adjust the thermostat.

« small remarks »

I have been several times in your hotel - mostly with good experiences. I have 2 remarks on this stay which have not been so good. I ordered and payed room for 2 people - the room was only prepared for 1 Person The service at the bar was extremly slow - waiting time to long - which was wasted time over all. I guess the 2 waiters were simply overstrained and not coordinated. To wait to place order for 20min is simply to long and asking for the bill another 15 min.

« Comfortable room »

I enjoyed the nicely furnished and spacious room. The hotel is an excellent choice near MXP, price/quality is very good. Please provide glasses instead of the paper cups (the lack of glasses in the room and bathroom is really an annoyance that would be easy to avoid). The bus driver arrived 10 minutes late in the morning for the first shift (at 5:10am); it was quite tight to get my flight. I'd suggest you to offer the first bus at 4:30am and to ensure that the bus drivers are exactly on time, particularly for the first shift.

« Disappointing for a Novotel »

Check in was excellent with a really helpful pleasant person.Room disappointing for a Novotel .Opening windows a real bonus and beds very comfortable . But appalling bathroom design.Doors let light through,opened onto bed and little privacy .Shower only tepid.No extra blanket and had to get one from reception and take it up.All ( minimalist ) instructions in Italian,odd for airport hotel No one at bar when we arrived and had to ask reception to get barman. Dinner ,not enough staff on so the two were running and a long wait for order to arrive.
