« A very basic Novotel »

More of an Ibis . Good opening windows and comfortable bed. Room was quiet.But bathroom doors opened towards beds and one of the doors was partly clear so thatlight from bathroom shone onto bed( not desirable inmiddle of night).No extra blanket in room and had to obtain from hard working receptionist and take it back to room. Shower luke warm.Not enough staff generally. Noone at bar and had to be calledfor by receptionist. Dinnermenu limited and again,not enough staff. Place was clean and sufficed for airport purpose. Be aware of airport minivan if not able to leap up into it- a step would have helped insteadof having to be pulled up by a fellow travellor. But expensive for what it was.

We love Novotel. However one complaint consistently at this location: the room is always too hot. Even in the fall. Does not ever cool down even when we adjust the thermostat.

« small remarks »

I have been several times in your hotel - mostly with good experiences. I have 2 remarks on this stay which have not been so good. I ordered and payed room for 2 people - the room was only prepared for 1 Person The service at the bar was extremly slow - waiting time to long - which was wasted time over all. I guess the 2 waiters were simply overstrained and not coordinated. To wait to place order for 20min is simply to long and asking for the bill another 15 min.

« Comfortable room »

I enjoyed the nicely furnished and spacious room. The hotel is an excellent choice near MXP, price/quality is very good. Please provide glasses instead of the paper cups (the lack of glasses in the room and bathroom is really an annoyance that would be easy to avoid). The bus driver arrived 10 minutes late in the morning for the first shift (at 5:10am); it was quite tight to get my flight. I'd suggest you to offer the first bus at 4:30am and to ensure that the bus drivers are exactly on time, particularly for the first shift.

« Disappointing for a Novotel »

Check in was excellent with a really helpful pleasant person.Room disappointing for a Novotel .Opening windows a real bonus and beds very comfortable . But appalling bathroom design.Doors let light through,opened onto bed and little privacy .Shower only tepid.No extra blanket and had to get one from reception and take it up.All ( minimalist ) instructions in Italian,odd for airport hotel No one at bar when we arrived and had to ask reception to get barman. Dinner ,not enough staff on so the two were running and a long wait for order to arrive.

« Disappointing Overnight Experience »

One word.....Dissappointing. The worst Accor Restuarant I've ever tried to dine at. I visited the Restuarant and the only thing I was mildly interested in had sold out. I checked out the cafe and thought ok I'll get room service. Exactly the same things available - Nothing different. An international Airport hotel should offer cuisine not just to the country you're in. No Asian offerings, just a sold out burger, the most limited menu I've ever come across in an Airport Hotel. I ended up walking in the rain to the Ibis across the road and eating the food they offered. Surely a club sandwich could be offered, not everyone wants pasta pasta pasta.

« Not impressed by this hotel »

We booked this hotel because of the swimming pool but we were not aware that it is close at that time. It did not said on their website that it is close.. my kids was disappointed. Staff was very helpful and approachable . No airconditioning unit in the rooms as well so we need to open the window and my daughters was bitten by insects while they were sleeping.

« Absolutely perfect, except for the A/C being switched off »

Huge room, spotlessly clean, fantastic bathroom - all lovely and very comfortable. Super friendly and helpful staff. A great pitstop before a long journey - with a free and friendly shuttle to Terminal 1. The only negative was how warm the hotel was (I was there on 21 October) - I understand that the city switches off A/C at a specific time each year, regardless of the weather. Not ideal, but the staff unlocked my huge window, which cooled my room down.

« Cooked in our room! »

Our room was so hot, we felt quite ill & couldn’t sleep. When we asked at reception we were told that the local authorities turn on the heating in October & our only option was to turn off the air and open the window. We did this but it was already so hot it did not cool down enough to be comfortable.

« Easy »

Easy stay. My only suggestion is more info regarding the shuttle bus online. Ie. If u need to book etc for arrivals. And an easier way than having to call so your guests don't need to pay roaming call costs. Loved having usb next to the bed, and the seperate bath and shower was refreshing.

Hotel shuttle was efficient (I called when I got in and they said was gonna be a 30min wait - was there in 10).Was great to have a seperate bath in bathroom, for a soak after a long flight. International power sockets and a usb port by the bed... Staff were all friendly, and let me know food and drinks were still available at the restaurant as I checked in.They quickly booked me into the shuttle for the following morning. And I had no problems with getting on (neither did anyone else)

Just one night between flights- good transfer from the airport and back - quick check-in - quiet and clean and comfortable room - even quick coffee and croissant at 5.00 in the morning - grazie Mille - we will be back on Saturday for our home travel.

« Hotel stay was pleasant but ... »

The hotel stay was pleasant, nice quiet room on a high floor. No problems with car parking. The biggest negative was being charged for breakfast we did not take. I contacted the hotel on several occassions but no reply was not forthcoming. This was really disappointing.

The room was okay but the restaurant was not the level you expect from NOVOTEL. In the morning there was no table available for breakfast and there was not enough food an not enough personal to clean the tables used. So you could not seat until the waitress cleaned the tables. The quality of the breakfast was very bad.
