« Good Location but the hotel isn't the best Mercure i've already been »

I was expecting a different experience. The room was great, got the Le Club Gold Member upgrade, but didn't receive the welcome chocolates as usual and as I've received in all other Accor hotels I've been the last year. At the first contact with the reception didn't get the late checkout, I had to went down and talk to the staff. The Restaurant that supplies the Hotel guests closes at 15:00 o'clock and 22:00 at night, not the perfect timing if you want to have a drink with friends and for business meetings.

We had a check-in for 2pm and arrived almost 4pm and there was no room available. We waited 29 minutes and got informed that it would take more 30 minutes for a room to be available... :(

I stayed in room 912. This is the second time I have stayed at the Mercure, probably the last. Staff is friendly tho don’t follow through with requests. Requested shampoo twice and was told it will be delivered soon. I did this on Sunday afternoon and again on Monday morning. I checked out Tuesday and shampoo never arrived. Brought my own bar soap as a lesson learned last time - which was good. Not all the light switches worked in the room. Bed side lamp didn’t work. Long hairs on floor of bathroom still there on Tuesday prompting me to wonder how clean the room actually was and how much “cleaning” they do versus “making bed” and nothing else. Safe is not operational, so I kept my noise cancelling headphones and iPad with me instead of leaving them in the room. Breakfast is very good, tho. Gym is adequate tho crowded but has what you need - just cramped.

Very well located, the hotel has large rooms and an excellent breakfast. On the ground floor, on the outside, between the three towers that make up the hotel complex (Mercure and Adagio), there is a small square with benches and a very pleasant place to stay. It is a great option for those who want to stay in a quiet neighborhood of São Paulo. I recommend!

« Will stay again despite some issues »

Overall I was happy to stay at the hotel. Initially I had booked the hotel for 3 nights but due to the fact I loved the location of hotel, room size, bathroom shower, breakfast and especially the gym facility, I extended the hotel for 4 more nights till I left São Paulo. My biggest concern was the airplane noise due to proximity of the local airport. I noticed that the windows in my room (808) weren't completely closing tightly to provide noise insulation . Had the windows were newer or designed for noise insulation I think airplane noise could be further reduced to a point where it won't be noticeable. My other concern was WiFi quality that I didn't find sufficiently fast and reliable for conducting serious business such as being able to do conference class using soft phone (VoIP application) to avoid international long distance roaming charges. Honestly the WiFi quality was poorer than what I was expecting or hoping it to be. This is definitely an area of improvement and international business travelers would appreciate that. I also want to mention that I got excellent customer service from Gabriel at the hotel front desk.

In general, the hotel is quite convenient in one of the best spots in São Paulo city. Hotel is ok, room is quite large, however still needs to fix some details to be outstand, especially on the breakfast, housekeeping and maintanence.

« Worst restaurant experience ever »

completely untrained staff @the restaurant. very slow at collecting orders, wrong beverage, slow at bringing the check, not being able to provide individual invoices to the customers, and after collecting the payment, turned off the lights whilst our german sales director was finishing his caipirinha. i will never stay again in this hotel, and i will recommend my network the same.

The hotel is in very quiet and nice area close to many shops. The staff is very king and answer quickly to all requests and needs. The hotel is under renovation and I was located in on of the room still to be refurnished so furniture and toilet were a bit old but working. In general, good quality / price ratio and definitely recommended
